“腊者，逐疫迎春”，腊八节又谓之“佛成道节”，亦名“成道会”，实际上可以说是十二月初八为腊日之由来。据传，佛教创始人释迦牟尼修行深山，静坐六年，饿得骨瘦如柴，曾欲弃此苦，恰遇一牧羊女，送他乳糜，他食罢盘腿坐于菩提树下，于十二月初八之日悟道成佛，为了纪念而始兴“佛成道节”。中国信徒出自虔诚，遂与“腊日”融合，方成“腊八节”，并同样举行隆重的仪礼活动。

A hot day

Today is very hot,the heightest temperature reached to 40 degree.So I

stayed at home all the day.I recited english text this morning,after I finished

my homework,I prepared lunch for my families.I cooked egg-fried rice for

lunch,because there was eggs in the fridge only and I didnt want to go out

shopping for the hot weather.In the afternoon,I slept half of the day.It was

time to cook dinner when I wake up.It was a boring day,I hate hot weather.

炎热的一天

今天天气非常地热，最高温度达到40度，所以我一整天都呆在家里。早上我被英语文章。完成了家庭作业之后，我就为全家人准备午餐。我做了鸡蛋炒饭作为午餐，因为冰箱里只有鸡蛋，并且由于天气热我不想出去购物。下午，我睡了大半天。当我醒来的时候就已经是做晚饭的时间了。这是非常无聊的一天，我讨厌炎热的天气。

一说到夏天，我们的反应就是奇热无比，我觉得它也是一个欢快的季节。

早晨，晴空万里，太阳公公给大地镀上了一层金黄色，小鸟在枝头叽叽喳喳的唱着欢快的歌儿，空气中弥漫着生机勃勃的味道。

正午的太阳威力更大了，阳光直射，仿佛大地都要被烤熟了一样，知了在树上叫着，发出低沉而舒缓的声音，鸟儿也在树上懒洋洋歇息着，也许正在做着美妙的梦呢！

一道光闪过，原来是闪电！紧接着就是轰隆隆的雷声，又过了一会儿，天空中多了一些白线，它们落在地上，落在水面上，发出沙沙的声音！雨越下越大，仿佛天地间升起了忽隐忽现的水帘。大地，花花草草都振奋起来，猛吸着雨水，洗去了身上的尘土，一切都变得焕然一新。雷电交加是夏天标准样式，这场雨来得快取去得也快！

傍晚，雨过天晴，凉风习习！青蛙在池塘里“呱呱”地叫着，鱼儿也在池塘里欢快的游着！人们悠闲得不约而同来到了公园里散步，三五成群，谈天说地，好不惬意……

虽然夏天炎热，聪明的人们总是能想到很多“对付”她的办法！吹空调就是最好的办法，夏天我们还可以吃到各式美味的冰激凌，那是真叫一个爽呢！夏天的水果还有很多，有酸酸甜甜的杨梅，美味可口的黄桃，消暑解渴的西瓜……
