夏天是美丽的。荷叶映衬着荷花是那么和谐。一望无尽的荷叶挨挨挤挤的，有的高，有的低，像一个个碧绿碧绿的圆盘。这幅景象让我不由想起了“接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红”这两句诗。

夏天是快乐的。游泳池里，小孩们戴着泳镜，穿着泳衣，有的在打水仗，有的比赛，有的打水球......游过泳，然后再吃上可口的冰淇淋，甜甜的、凉凉的，吃进肚子里有一种飘飘欲仙的感觉。真惬意啊!

夏天是清凉的。暑假在家学完东西后，坐在空调间里看书，写字。吃着妈妈买的西瓜，真是一种享受!

夏天真是个好季节!

山的一边上又多了几幢无法算测高度的楼房。

那是一座山，一座长满野草和丛林的山，还有就是那一堆堆挂满白纸的坟墓。

没想到差别竟在一瞬间拉了开。像写抒情诗一样地缠绵思想的深度。死了，有何意义?活着，有何价值?

整天忙碌无心。空闲的时候想到过爱情，事业，亲情，友情。就是没有想到过那绿腾腾的树林和野草，那缤纷的花儿和苞蕾，那雨后沉着思想豁然开朗的彩虹，那头上的蓝天。白云和飞鸟。还有忽然触到的山中水流。

多少次回到家乡，看夕阳夹在山中落下的情景，听那学成飞舞的小鸟儿叽喳叫过，感受来自地下的水的清冽叮咚，看远方的山峦和高岗，还有就是在那些长得整整齐齐的丛林中搞野炊，睡在空旷傍晚的草地上听入夜的虫儿轻鸣……

无法形容那些好和高尚的情操。家乡的一座山，家乡的土，留下了我走过重叠无知好几次的石头和泥巴路，小时侯无知时的趣让我怀念。从前……本来我只属于自然，不回归尘世。本来不想长大，而时间硬是检验了脆弱的生命。

真的想提一壶酒，醉到在我的乡村。

Most people has a sweet home, so have I. I think my home is sweet because

it is my best place to have rest or have fun with my friends or my parents.

许多人拥有一个甜蜜的家，我也有。我认为我的家是甜蜜的，因为它是我休息、与父母、朋友一起玩乐的地方。

I can remember clearly. Once I came back home late because my teacher

didnt want me leave until I finished my homework. At that time, the weather

time! I felt I cant take it any more, so I ran to my home quickly. When I got

my home, I felt much more warmer and happiness than ever before!

我的家乡虽然在偏僻的农村，但那儿环境优雅，漫山遍野的农田，绿油油的，令人心旷神怡!

漫步在田间的小路上，呼吸着新鲜的空气，脚下小草青翠欲滴，花儿眉开眼笑。这美好的情景，让我紧张的心情一下子舒缓起来。

顺着幽雅的小路来到我家。坐在小院里，首先映入眼帘的是院边几棵郁郁葱葱的杨树。它们高大挺拔，像一个个卫士保护着我们的家园，谢谢你们，可爱的杨树。透过杨树的空隙望去，是层层叠叠的梯田，绿油油的秧苗正在茁壮成长，田间的农民伯伯正在除草，他们在炎炎的烈日下挥汗如雨。为了秋季的丰收，他们不辞辛劳，我的心里默默地升起一股敬佩之情。

庭院左侧是清澈的荷塘，荷叶上顶着一朵朵盛开的荷花，荷叶下一条条小鱼在追逐嬉戏;荷花里藏着一朵朵莲子，多么想摘一朵呀!“小娃撑小艇，偷采白莲回。不解藏踪迹，浮萍一道开。”白居易笔下的《池上》浮现在我的脑海里。我多想做一次白居易笔下的小娃，去尽情享受荷塘里无边的清香。

庭院右侧是厨房，厨房后有一片茂密的竹林。蝉不知在哪里，只听见“知了，知了”一片叫声。

抬头仰望瓦蓝的天空，低头看看院落前清澈的小溪，侧耳倾听鸟儿的啼叫，真是“人在画中游”啊，家乡给人的感觉真好!

It was the second day of our winter holiday. I felt good. I felt Im free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Beijing. So I live alone but I dont feel lonely. But I didnt do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an English daily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours. I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry.

I love summer very much. In summer its hot and sometimes its rainy. People wear T-shirts shorts and sunglasses. Girls love to wear dresses and skirts.

I love smimming in summer. So I always go swimming with my parents in the sea. Sometimes I like to play basketball on the playground with my friends if its not very hot.

My favourite food in summer is ice-cream. Its very cold and sweet. Its delicious for me in summer.

Wow summer is really my favourite season!

Ivan came home with a bloody nose and his mother asked, "What happened?"

"A kid bit me," replied Ivan.

"Would you recognize him if you saw him again?" asked his mother.
