三叠泉位于庐山西南面，海拔约一千米。顾名思义，“三叠泉”就是分成三叠的泉。在离三叠泉三四百米的地方便能听到三叠泉的流水声，真是未入其境，先闻其声啊！再往前走一点便能看到第一、二叠泉。好不容易走完了通往三叠泉那段漫长的石阶梯，三叠泉全景便展现在眼前。
