嘘！老鼠大模大样地登场了，以为夜晚就是它的领地。猫一动不动地盯着，好像要把它生吞了似的。尽管夜光幽暗，猫却把一切都看透。好，有时机了，老鼠刚走出洞穴，猫就一步步地移动，充分发挥脚的优点，渐渐地接近老鼠，然后以掩耳不及迅雷之速，一个猛跳扑住了老鼠，此时老鼠还在挣扎，接着猫像玩玩具一样，戏耍老鼠，故意让它跑，然后又把它抓住，玩弄于股掌之间，真让人回味无穷呀！

自从有了猫，家人不怕老鼠。尽管它白天睡大觉，我们伺候它，晚上它捉老鼠，我们睡得安心！
