We met at 7 oclock at the school gate. The weather in Beijing that day was great. At around 8 oclock, we arrived at Xiangshan Park. There is a high tree on the bottom of the hill. We had a party and played games under the tree. Then we climbed to the top of Xiangshan Mountain. It was not very difficult for us to do it. Next, we had lunch at the top of the hill. It was delicious. After lunch, we saw some birds. They were friendly. And we saw a whole picture of Beijing. "What a beautiful city!" I said. At that moment, we all felt so proud. I live in Beijing now. The 2008 Olympic games was held here.

寒假,我读了高尔基的自传体小说《童年》，它给我的感触颇深。

它向我们艺术地展示了阿廖沙在黑暗社会追求光明的奋斗历程，还有十九世纪七十到八十年代的俄国社会风貌。3岁的时候，父亲病故，母亲就带阿廖沙回了娘家。可惜外公是个自私而又专横的小业主，但是资本主义俄国的发展打断了外公发财的好梦，从此破产以至于贫困潦倒。可怜的母亲改嫁之后，生病而死，十一岁的作者被外公残忍地赶出了家门，到社会上自谋生路……其实，阿廖沙的原型就是高尔基本人，高尔基借阿廖沙这个人物来描述自己的童年。高尔基用真实优美的文笔描述了自已苦难而令人难以置信童年.

我们现在丰衣足食，要什么有什么，又是父母的“掌上明珠”、“心肝宝贝”哪能和高尔基那悲惨的童年相提并论，年代的不同就是这差别，一个是天堂，一个是地狱；一个充满陽光，一个到处黑暗。我们现在的童年来之不易啊！童年充满着欢乐，童年到处是温暖，童年是值得回忆的相机，童年爱满心窝！而高尔基的童年除了一些教育和友谊，没有什么再值得回忆！

那是人类都会引为自豪的象征，勇于挑战和渴望征服浩瀚的大海，渴望和一条真正的鲨鱼面对面的挑战;一条船，一个老人，一片浩瀚的大海;鲨鱼出现了，大海只派了他的小小的鲨鱼出现了，老人和小船，大海派来的小小的鲨鱼，老人是人类的代表，老人眼里是条真正的鲨鱼;于是，老人抖擞精神，和鲨鱼进行着殊死搏斗，一场征服和反征服的搏斗，“大块的鱼肉”和后来的争夺，局部的胜利之后，当老人感觉胜利在握的时候，“鲨鱼忽然……”，老人最后是空着双手，幸运地“凯旋”。我最初看“老人与海”之后，只感叹了一句，人最终不知道自己需要什么，征服了什么;依然还是这样的感叹，在9之后和之前，布什也许从来没看过他故乡的老人，给他的忠告;老人与海的挑战，进行了不屈不饶征服，但是你是不是想过，人是不是在不屈不饶的制造问题，然后再去解决他，到底这世界最后谁征服谁，征服了之后做什么，为什么要征服而不是……中国古代文化的内涵，在与亲和力，而不是征服的力量，海明威参加过美国人的英雄思维，就是强调征服的力量，但是失明后的他，开始思考征服的意义，所以才有老人和海;美国在越战里的结果，海明威是越战里的老人，人类的生存意识是海，如果盲目的强调一个生命对另个生命的征服和占有，即使进行着不屈不饶的过程，结果只有海明威所写的，老人空着手回航：“一个人并不是生来要被打败的，你尽可以把他消灭掉，但永远不会打败他”，人如此，其他的生命呢。

“不过是人不是为失败而生的”，“一个人可以被毁灭，但不能被打败转载自百分网他说。他，一个坚强、不畏困难不怕失败的人。他虽然屡受打击，却从未放弃过寻找希望的念头。他虽然屡遭失败，却从未有灰心失望的时候。他虽然险些丧命却在无畏中又一次点燃胜利的怒火。他就是海明威笔下的硬汉——桑提亚哥。

海明威，美国小说家，9年7月2日用枪结束了自己的生命，令世界震惊。92年《老人与海》问世，此后分别获普策利奖及诺贝尔文学奖。他所塑造的硬汉形象也影响了欧美文学。

桑提亚哥是一个在海明威笔下生动形象的勾勒出的硬汉形象。桑提亚哥8天出海一无所获，他的顽强与拼搏，迎来了第8天充满希望的黎明，又迎来了第8天灿烂的阳光。第8天，老人出海，在茫茫大海中他的坚持终于得到回报：一条大马林鱼上钩了。

接下来的四天里，便是老人与大马林鱼的较量。烈日当空不怕，寒风刺骨不怕，缺水不怕。他用他的勇敢与坚强，战胜了大马林鱼迎来了胜利的曙光。大马林鱼被制服了，其中的一些描写，生动的表现出了老人的坚强，永不言弃的精神：鱼又兜了两圈，还是老样子——我弄不懂，老人想，每一圈他都觉得自己快要垮下了。我弄不懂但我还是要试一下，他又试了一下，等他把鱼拉的转过来，他感到自己要垮了，我还是要试一下，老人想，尽管他双手已经软弱无力，眼睛不好使，只看得见间歇的一起，他又试了一下，同样的情形，我还要试一下，他又试了一下。

经过一次又一次的尝试，桑提亚哥，终于战胜了大马林鱼，他敢于向失败与死亡挑战，是他战胜了大马林鱼，同时也告诉我们，只要不气馁，不放弃总有一天你会成功，李白有云“天生我材必有用”此也所谓“苦心人，天不负，三千越甲可吞吴。”

就这样一个硬汉形象，在海明威笔下活灵活现。他不仅告诉我们敢于向命运抗争，向失败和死亡挑战，也告诉我们面对事情要坚持不懈，不甘失败，当我们面对困难，应像文中所说“现在不是想缺少什么的时候，该想一想凭现有的东西你能做什么”

“面对困难要镇静，要有信心，而不是抱怨”。

《老人与海》也告诉我们，人不抱希望是傻的，即使生活欺骗了我们也应乐观对待。所以我对桑提亚哥和他的草鱼，和正对生活失望，找不到方向的人送上一首诗：“假如生活欺骗了你，不要悲伤，不要心急，相信吧，快乐的日子将会来临。心儿永远向往未来，一切都是瞬息，一切都将会过去。而那过去了的就会成为永远的怀恋。”

这本书讽刺了某些人抵制不住金钱对人的诱惑，认为金钱是万能的，现实中我认为金钱绝对不是万能的，金钱万能论是非常错误的。金钱能买到床铺，却买不到睡眠;金钱能买到食物，却买不到口味;金钱可以买到书本，却买不到知识……金钱的确可以满足人们的虚荣心，但是这些都是虚假的，最真实的还是人坦荡的生活。就像亚当斯一样，他失去了金钱，但是他依然乐观。

《百万英镑》是马克.吐温写的一篇中篇幽默讽刺小说。本文故事是，一位公务员出海时在公海中迷了路，被救起后随船到了英国。在英国他成了流浪汉，因为一次两名富翁打赌，给他了一张100万英镑整的钞票，看他可不可以养活自己一个月。因为无法证明钞票归他所有，他一开始不敢花，后来实在饿得没有办法，拿钞票去饭店试试，结果店老板认为他是个富翁，允许他欠账，还想送给他东西，讨好他。结果他用这种方式，弄够了所有生活用品，还和别人合作赚了30万英镑。

这篇文章讽刺了那些以貌取人、见钱眼开的人。这些人见对方有钱，就甘愿为对方服务，而对于对方虚实，一概不问。他们这类人为金钱服务，信奉 “金钱万能”。这种人若变多，就会助长“金钱万能”这种社会风气的形成，金钱会异化成为人们的唯一动力。当前我们身边社会，也有这种习气的存在。从大处说，去年曾有某造纸工厂排污不达标一次用120万元买断全年的罚款，从小处说，找人办事送礼成风也是这种习气的体现。因此，我们不能信奉“金钱万能”，而且凡遇到事情，应该从本质着眼，看清事物的真相，而不应只看表面，不应盲从。
