一个周末，我和妈妈在车站等车，有一对父女也走进了站台，那老父亲已是头发花白，脸色不怎么好看。不久车子缓缓驶入车站，乘客们争先恐后地上了车，而这位老人虽然由女儿搀扶着，却还是费了好大的劲才上了车，当时车内已没有座位可坐，于是我便起身让座，并对老爷爷说：“爷爷您坐我这儿来。”老人说：“小朋友，你的好意我心领了，还是你坐吧。”奇怪的是老人的女儿也说不用了，当时的场面有些尴尬，但我还是坚持让老人坐下，老人的女儿还想说什么，却被老人用眼神制止了。

老人坐下后一路都紧锁眉头，我心里直打嘀咕：为什么老人会有这样的表情?说来也巧，这对父女和我们在同一站点下车。下车后我听到了他们的对话，原来一开始老人不接受让座是因为臀部有伤，可是老人的女儿不理解父亲最终的做法，于是老人就对女儿说：“这个孩子好心让座，我总不能不接受吧，如果我第二次再拒绝，那他下次再碰到这样的事情就会有顾虑了。”听到老人的这席话，我的眼睛湿润了，泪水在眼眶里直打转。我终于明白在那公交车上，老人硬是忍着原本可以避免的痛楚，成全了我给老人的善良。

成全别人的善良，这何尝不是一种善良。
