不久，我发现一只蚂蚁又沿着刚才来时的路线回去了。我的好奇心又不知不觉地跳出来了：“马哥，为什么它们能按小黑蚂蚁走过的路线回到老巢呢?”“因为每一只蚂蚁走过的路都会留下一股特殊的气味。”

就在这时，一群蚂蚁大军向蚂蚱扑来，只见一只比较大的蚂蚁爬到死蚂蚱的上面指挥，一部分蚂蚁在前面拼命地拉着蚂蚱的触角，其余则在蚂蚱的两侧、后面使劲地推，死蚂蚱一点点、一点点地向蚂蚁的巢穴挪动。

通过这次观察，我终于知道：蚂蚁的秘密武器是什么了，那就是它们如此团结。
