《郁离子》

记载了一个因失信而丧生的故事 济阳有个商人过河时船沉了，他抓住一根大麻杆大声呼救。有个渔夫闻声而致。商人急忙喊：“我是济阳最大的富翁，你若能救我，给你100两金子”。待被救上岸后，商人却翻脸不认帐了。他只给了渔夫10两金子。渔夫责怪他不守信，出尔反尔。富翁说：“你一个打渔的，一生都挣不了几个钱，突然得十两金子还不满足吗?”淦夫只得怏怏而去。不料想后来那富翁又一次在原地翻船了。有人欲救，那个曾被他骗过的淦夫说：“他就是那个说话不算数的人!”于是商人淹死了。商人两次翻船而遇同一渔夫是偶然的，但商人的不得好报却是在意料之中的。因为一个人若不守信，便会失去别人对他的信任。所以，一旦他处于困境，便没有人再愿意出手相救。失信于人者，一旦遭难，只有坐以待毙。

木棉树一直是我心灵向往的白衣女神，飘逸，洁白。南方的小镇是我的家乡，那里没有雪，有的仅仅是一棵棵木棉树，我家的小院里也有一棵，每当飘絮时，奶奶总会伴着我坐在小院里，我说道：“下雪了，下雪了…”

终于又能够回到阔别以久的家乡，家乡仍没有变，木棉树仍在小镇中随出可见，但是奶奶却变了。

奶奶仍坐在那棵木棉树下。只不过坐着的是一部轮椅，奶奶不幸半身不可以再移动了。

奶奶看到我回来，笑了，笑得很灿烂，更像一朵菊花，而她嘴里又山了几颗牙齿。我告诉她我快要考高中了，奶奶高兴地说：“你一定能考上最好的高中的。”木棉在飘絮，像雪，飘逸，纯洁。

窗外的木棉已经停止了飘絮，但我知道，奶奶一定正坐在那棵木棉树下的轮椅上，守望着，守望着。

路易斯得到了小号，可是他还想学习人类的语言，于是，他请求萨姆的帮助。

路易斯在萨姆的帮助下进了学校，很快学会了人类的语言，萨姆帮他买了一块石板和石笔，挂在它的脖子上。

有了小号，还学会了人类的语言，路易斯大出风头，还救了平果·斯金纳，获得了救生奖章。现在，它开始实现自己的两个梦想：成为雌天鹅塞蕾娜的伴侣和偿还偷来的小号。

它凭着出色的小号演奏技术和对梦想的无限渴望，终于在夜总会找到了工作。短短十星期，它就赚到了大约四千三百美元，偿还了小号，实现了他的梦想。

终于有一天，它找到了塞蕾娜，并且与她成为了伴侣，回到森林深处，天天自由自在地生活，生儿育女，路易斯实现了它的第二个梦想。
