When students go into college, they need to join in the group, because there is no way for them to live alone. They have new classmates and roommates. How to fit in the group is the main problem for them to solve. A successful student can handle it well.

To fit in the group, the students must have the collective consciousness. As most students are only child in the family, so they don’t know how to get along well with their roommates. They always notice themselves and ignore others’ feelings. But as they live in a dormitory, they need to realize these. Only in this way can make everybody live in a harmonious environment.

To fit in a group, students also need to be honest. As many students live in a common surrounding, it is easy to have conflict, because different cultures happen among students from different regions. Then it is important to be honest and try to talk about the problem, or the conflict will bigger.

It is a big lesson for students to learn get along with others. The one who handles well are trend to be get successfully easily.

北大校长周其凤回老家为母亲祝寿，长跪不起，对他很少回家深感羞愧。母子深情相拥，泪如泉涌。九十岁的母亲和六十五的儿子，眼泪所承载的，是中华民族的传统，是对孝道完美诠释。周校长悔恨和遗憾，因为他回家少，探母少。但这正也给其他父母尚存的游子们上了一堂道德课：长跪不如常探。

周校长是幸运的，他还有母亲可以尽孝，而不是一座坟墓供他长跪，他还有家可以回，而不是一室空房等他归去。他还有机会去弥补自己的遗憾，去补偿自己的悔恨。身为北大校长，因忙碌而回家稀少或许可以理解，但那些并不忙碌的年轻人呢?为了玩乐而忘记回家，为了讨好上司而拒绝回家。有的，也不只是一通电话，一句“太忙”。空余老人一年年独对满桌的团圆饭，孤单地在房屋中守望，守望太忙的笑脸和背影。也许，只有当父母真正离开了，不在了，才想起失去的，才想起后悔的，才想起小时候年轻的父亲，想起岁月给予他们的一缕缕白发。想起逝去的光阴，想起曾经的美好。嚎啕大哭的回到家，却只剩下一张黑白的遗照，一座布满灰尘的空房。失去了才知珍惜，恐怕只有经历了这种切腹之痛，才能真正的领悟吧。

不禁想起了一句古话“树欲静而风不止，子欲养而亲不待。”古代因交通不便，有志而出门在外的游子，极难有机会陪父母安度晚年。而现在呢?交通方便了，通信方便了，还有上面理由不在团圆之时回到家去?有什么理由不去看望日益衰老的父母?掐指一算，一名二十多岁便远离父母的游子，又有多少机会和父母团圆呢?又有多少顿饭能同父母一起吃呢?

长跪不如常探，周校长用眼泪告诉我们他应当如此，告诉天下的游子应当如此。孝，乃百善之首。如若对父母之孝都难以做到，那还谈何高尚?谈何成功?谁又有资格在网上对别人的做法指手画脚，评头论足?长跪不如常探，常回家所带来的爱，带来的赤子之情与感恩之心，再昂贵的花圈与丧服，高香与纸钱，都是无法比拟的。

李密为了祖母而拒绝为官，王祥不计前嫌，卧冰求鲤，汉文帝也为母亲亲尝汤药。孝，乃中华民族之传统，如今却鲜有人为之付诸行动。周校长为母亲祝寿而长跪不起，却遭指责和质疑，不禁令人唏嘘。

羊有跪乳之恩，乌鸦尚有反哺之情。儿女归家。对父母是一种幸福，对自己也是一种幸福。

漂泊在外的游子们，你们听到了吗?

朋友，当你在明亮的灯光下，尽情享受阅读给你带快乐和幸福时候;当你手中看完了书没地方保存，想当废纸处理时，就是否会想起住在我们周围一些小朋友，他们虽然我们是同龄，可由于很多原因，他们却享受不到书香给他们快乐和幸福。看到校信通举行的公益捐书活动，我真是急不可待，有了校信通这个公益捐书的渠道，真是书香越飘越远。我立刻开始选择捐的书目。捐什么好呢?我必须挑出最有意思，最值得一看的书捐给小朋友们。

我挑选了我的四本《魔法女孩》系列的书籍，书中魔法的女孩可真有点魔法味道，故事情节生动活泼，让人看了只想发笑，还有一条值得提是，这四本书是我今年参加春节写博征文荣获二等奖的奖品，共享给我的朋友们，我感觉更有意义。魔法女孩都是文字书，没有拼音。这样低年级的学生就看不成了，我得为低年级的学生着想啊!在捐一本带拼音的书目吧!干脆把拼音版的《三国演义》捐给我们朋友们，读中国名著，更能体会到中国文化历史，这本书上不但有拼音，语句也很容易理解，完全没有历史的枯燥性。低年级的小朋友们一定能看懂的，从小就知道三国故事，我想仰他们一定会有很多三国英雄崇拜。选定了书目，我开始填写我的爱心卡。由于爱心卡是黑白打印的，不太美观，我拿出了我的荧光笔，准备给它装饰一下。

我在“爱心卡”这三个字上都涂上了鲜艳的颜色，张张都不一样，校信通的标志我也给描成了不同的颜色。这样看起来就更有动感了。我在每张卡片上，用水笔端端正正的填写好，并用双面胶粘在了书上面。一切就绪了，可以邮寄书了。我马上拿着钱跑到了邮局，邮局阿姨吃惊地问：“小朋友，你要干什么?”“我想邮寄几本书，可以给我一个盒子吗?”阿姨看了看我那几本书的大小，对着屋里喊了一声：“盒子，8号大小!”不一会儿，又有一个叔叔拿着一个盒子过来了，他把那盒子打开，把我的几本书一本一本的装进去。

刚刚好，这样就不怕运输过程中在盒子中有损坏了。阿姨用胶带把盒子缠好，递给我一张单子，让我填写一下。我端端正正地写上了收信地址、收信人以及寄信地址一些应填写项目。阿姨撕下后面的一张纸，把我这张单子牢牢的贴在了我的货物上面，并给我一张单子的复印件。我高兴地交了邮费，拿着单子的复印件走出了邮局。我邮寄出了我的书，心里无比的澎湃。

这书几天能到呢?到时候接到我捐的书的人是男孩还是女孩呢?他们会喜欢我捐的书吗?我思序万千，但愿他们能从书中找到乐趣，让书香流进他们心芳。最后倡议大家：让我们携手点亮“爱心”，积极行动起来!

我对某些词语赋予的特殊的含义。拿“度日”来说吧，天色不佳，令人不快的时候，我将“度日”看作是“消磨光阴”，而风和日丽的时候，我却不愿意去“度”，这时我是在慢慢赏玩、领略美好的时光。

坏日子，要飞快去“度”，好日子，要停下来细细品尝。“度日”“消磨时光”的常用语令人想起那些“哲人”的习气。他们以为生命的利用不外乎在于将他打发、消磨，并且尽量回避它，无视它的存在，仿佛这是一见苦事、一件贱物似的。至于我，我却认为生命不是这个样的，我觉得它值得称颂，富有情趣，即使我自己到了垂暮之年也还是如此。我们的生命来自自然的恩赐，它是优越无比的，假如我们觉得不堪生之重压或是白白虚度此生，那也只能怪我们自己。

糊涂人的一生枯燥无味，躁动不安，却将全部希望寄托于来世。

不过，我却随时准备告别人生，毫不惋惜。这倒不是因生之艰辛或苦恼所致，而是由于生之本质在于死。因此只有乐于生的人才能真正不感到死之苦恼。享受生活要讲究方法。我比别人多享受到一倍的生活，因为生活乐趣的大小是随我们对生活的关心程度而定的。尤其在此刻，我眼看生命的时光无多，我就愈想增加生命的力量。我想靠迅速抓紧时间，去留住稍纵即逝的日子;我想凭时间的有效利用去弥补匆匆流逝的光阴。剩下的生命愈是短暂，我却愈要使之过得丰盈充实。

Oceans becoming more acidicThe worlds oceans are slowly getting more acidic, say scientists.The researchers from California say the change is taking place in response to higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.The lowering of the waters pH value is not great at the moment but could pose a serious threat to current marine life if it continues, they warn.Ken Caldeira and Michael Wickett, from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, report their concerns in the journal Nature.Increasing use of fossil fuels means more carbon dioxide is going into the air, and most of it will eventually be absorbed by seawater.

Once in the water, it reacts to form carbonic acid.Scientists believe that the oceans have already become slightly more acidic over the last century.But these researchers have tried to predict what will happen in the future by combining what we know about the history of the oceans with computer models of climate change."This level of acidity will get much more extreme in the future if we continue releasing CO2 into the atmosphere," said Dr Caldeira."And we predicted amounts of future acidity that exceed anything we saw over the last several hundred million years, apart from perhaps after rare catastrophic events such as asteroid impacts."If carbon dioxide release continues unabated, ocean pH could be reduced by as much as 0.77 units, the authors warn.It is not absolutely clear what that means for marine life, however.

Most organisms live near the surface, where the greatest pH change would be expected to occur, but deep-ocean lifeforms may be more sensitive to pH changes.Coral reefs and other organisms whose skeletons or shells contain calcium carbonate may be particularly affected, the team speculate. They could find it much more difficult to build these structures in water with a lower pH.In recent years some people have suggested deliberately storing carbon dioxide from power stations in the deep ocean as a way of curbing global warming.But Dr Caldeira said that such a strategy should now be re-considered."Previously, most experts had looked at ocean absorption of carbon dioxide as a good thing - because in releasing CO2 into the atmosphere we warm the planet; and when CO2 is absorbed by the ocean, it reduces the amount of greenhouse warming.

As Chinese traditional virtue, helping others and taking care of each other

are the basic virtue of a person. We are lucky that we are born to be a healthy

person, while some persons are not that lucky, they may be born to be a disable

man or get hurt by accidents. Out of the basic virtue, it is not right to laugh

at them, we need to help each other, showing our love to them. December 3rd,

2013 is World Disabled Day, the day reminds people of the care about disable

men. The disable often ignored by us, since they are special group, we should

take care of them, give them our hands. We can do something for them, like

helping them when cross the road. We can help them from small things, helping

each other makes the world more beautiful.
