其实，不应该对西方的节日有太多的抵制。随着中国的高速发展，中国已不再是一个封闭的国家。随着对外交流的日益频繁，西方的文化也随之传入了这片宽容的土地。过节，享受的就是那一份热闹。让平日匆忙的脚步歇歇，让一成不变的生活节奏转变成轻快跳跃的音符。圣诞节为人们提供的欢快是不可否认的，这就是人们情陷圣诞的原因。

至于为什么中国的传统节日会变得越来越冷清，除了西方节日的影响，我认为最主要的原因还是中国传统节日本身。因为历史原因，传统节日多来源于传说，因此节日或多或少让新时代的人们觉得有迷信的色彩。当然，有的节日寓意是美好的：春节、中秋、端午、元宵……这些传统的节日一直延续至今。但是，近年来，这些节日的气氛似乎也已大不如前了。其中表现得最明显的，当数青年人。他们喜欢圣诞的游戏，而不喜欢春节的串门;他们向往愚人节的欢笑，而烦心于冬至的团聚;他们崇尚情人节的浪漫，而忘却了七夕的花灯……对比起来，西方的节日是热情的，而中国的传统节日是含蓄的。对于新时代的人们来说，西方的节日气氛似乎更满足于他们的需要。

因此，不能一味地抵制西方节日，而应从自身寻找问题。尽管传统，也应在社会的进步中发展。活跃节日气氛是挽救传统节日的关键。西方的节日我们愉快地过，中国的节日我们欢腾地过，又，何乐而不为呢?

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Its my honor to tell you about the

changes of mySchool.

When you walk around our school, you can see various flowers and trees

everywhere. At the same time, you can smell the taste, breathe fresh air. Its a

nice place for us to study.

Please look at the new building over there. Its our library that was

painted white again this year. It not only looks more beautiful, but also has

increasingly more books than before. Reading different kinds of books can

enhance our horizons and increase our knowledge. I still remember I entered the

school two years ago, the library was old enough and I always couldnt find my

What was even worse, as a member of school basketball team, my partners and

I had few chances to practice, as the playground was too small to play and full

of so many students after school. Luckily, I dont have to worry about that

anymore, because our playground is large enough for all of us to play games, and

basketball court is also bigger. Thats wonderful!

My school has changed a lot, for it is more beautiful and modern. I love my
