向日葵和玫瑰花是熟人，它们生长在同一个花园里。不过，玫瑰花总是看不起向日葵。

一天，玫瑰花突然带着一种异样的眼神看着向日葵，高举着鲜红的花瓣，骄傲地说：“小向日葵，你长得可真是丑啊！你看看你的花蕾，上面长满了一粒一粒的芝麻，就像一面破碎的镜子，也很像人类脸上的麻子，太丑啦！”向日葵淡淡地回答：“我才不难看呢，我脸上的麻子不但可以吃，还可以给病人治病。病人吃了之后，就会药到病除，充满活力了。这就像身体里装了一个温暖的太阳，在暖暖地照耀全身。所以，我脸上的麻子不是白白长的，它非常有用！”可是，玫瑰非常不服气，它还是坚持说：“我觉得你再怎么有用，反正你那一脸的麻子还是难看，永远长在脸上，永远被别人嘲笑。”

就因为这件事，向日葵和玫瑰花闹翻了，它们再也不说话了。过了一个月，玫瑰花越来越漂亮、越来越香了。可是，向日葵脸上的麻子却越来越多、花瓣越来越大。终于有一天，玫瑰花被人摘走了。过了几天，向日葵也被摘走了。摘走向日葵的是一位医生，向日葵被带到医馆，然后医生用它的麻子入药。这种药，可以救很多人的生命，向日葵真的太高兴了。

一天，它和玫瑰花在香水店里碰到，向日葵高兴地跟玫瑰花讲了它救人的故事，可是这时候的玫瑰花已经变成香水了。原来，丑丑的向日葵，在治病救人上却战胜了玫瑰花，真的是人不可貌相啊！

不知不觉间你在我身边也有两年了，随着时间的流逝，我已忘记你我初遇的场景。但你有一个特点，就是喜欢沐浴阳光，所以我就给你取了个名字“向日葵”。

虽然你在我身边只有两个春秋，但你已成为我生命中不可或缺的一部分。那时，每当我和妈妈拌嘴时，我总是赌气离家出走，是你冒着生命危险将我找回。轻轻地黏我的小指，然后热情地拥入我怀抱。“你傻吗？竟然从家里跑出来找我，万一走丢了怎么办？”你轻轻地叫了两声，依然望着那太阳。我看着你那毛绒绒的身子，脸上掠过一丝笑意，心里却留下阵阵温暖。我们就这样，在初春沐浴着阳光。

还记得那雨夜吗？父母吵架吵得很凶，我躲在衣柜里缩成一团，不敢出去。这时，你来了，你那看起来不是多么轻盈的身子正努力地爬上衣柜的台子，嘴里还叼着小饼干。这是来安慰我吗？突然，你纵身一跃，爬到我的肩上，用你那肉嘟嘟的爪子，在我脸上挠来挠去，还一脸的严肃。我“噗哧”一声笑了出来，这下你才好像很满意似的，从肩上跳到了我的怀里。尽管柜子外有父母的争吵声，雷电轰鸣声，但我身边有你就够了。

这两年中，你与我发生了许许多多的事情，你的安慰，你的鼓励，你的欢笑，我都记在心底。希望你，我的小小猫，这个小小向日葵能一直面朝太阳，微笑前行。你要做我心中一辈子的向日葵！
