Thanks for your last letter. Im so glad that you have been able (at last! ) to arrange a holiday in Australia. As I fear I wont be able to meet you at the airport when you arrive, nor will I be able to be home until later in the afternoon, so here are some instructions and suggestions.

There is a bus from the airport to the city. It is much cheaper than a cab. Take the bus to the city and ask to get off at Town Hall railway station.

To get to my place in the eastern suburbs you have three options. You can either take a cab, a bus or the train. I suggest you take the train, since the airport bus will leave you right at the station. Get off at Cliff Station. From there you can either walk to my place (about ten minutes) or take a taxi. Probably you should take a taxi as you will have luggage.

When you arrive at my flat, ring the intercom for Flat 2. My friend Lillian will be at home and she will open the front door for you and let you into my flat.

Presumably you will be tired and want to sleep. But if you feel like some exercise after that long flight, you could stroll down to Cooper Park, which is only ten minutes away ? you can see it from the window.

I felt as if a fish which had been living in the sea happily. Then we land on the beach. The sand on the beach was so soft that it was cosy to lie on the beach. I tried searching for the shells on the beach but failed. The beach was totally different from what I heard before as there was nothing except footsteps on the beach. In the afternoon I played football on beach and scored a goal with my new friends from all around China. It was really interesting and challenging.

The next day I went to Haikou. I first visited the tomb of Hairui an officer in Qing dynasty who was famous for rectitude. I think he should be the role model of every person. In the afternoon I went to the geological park of volcano. A lot of stones of different shapes came into views. When arriving the top of the park it seemed that the while city was under my view. Also I had seen plenty of interesting and rare types of the plants. I also got into a small hole in the park it is said that the hold was exactly the original hole where maqma came from. But the volcano had stopped from erupting for thousands of years.

I can’t forget this trip not only does it give me a lot of joy knowledge and good memory but also it give me a chance to make friends with people from different fart in China. By enjoying the excellent scenery I think I have fallen in love with this beautiful city. I will cherish this experience.

我最喜欢的花就是向日葵。

向日葵的花瓣是橘黄色的，像一片片金叶子围在花蕊旁边盛开着，远远地看去，就像一个个金色的太阳。向日葵的花蕊特别大，像一个个金黄色的金盘子，黄中带着绿，花蕊上面还有很多像芝麻一样的小孔孔，非常惹人喜爱。

向日葵的花特别大，它的茎虽然没有大树那样粗壮，却非常得笔直，茎的顶端是弯弯的，就像一为驼背的老爷爷。而且茎部还有一些毛毛似的小刺。茎上还有几片叶子，就像诸葛亮的大蒲扇。向日葵的叶子正面是翠绿色的，而反面是银白色的，因为叶子的反面长着毛茸茸的小刺，非常漂亮。

我最喜欢的是既明艳又芬芳，充满阳光的向日葵。它的生长地是南美洲，气味很芳香，叶子尖尖的，花蕊是橙色的，茎是有一点毛的。它的花期是七月中旬至八月中。它的长势很好，花开的很大向着太阳。向日葵的花语是“沉默的爱，没有说出口的爱。”

我的幸运花是向日葵，我从小就特别喜欢它。因为不管有多少风雨阻碍，它总是可以面向太阳的方向，去捕捉那一缕光芒，汲取那一点温暖，努力生长。

有一次，我和爸爸妈妈去乡下玩，看着阳光下大片大片的农作物，让我强烈地感受到了盎然的生机。突然，我的目光被一片金黄色吸引了。走近一看，原来是向日葵。

绿色的茎秆挺得笔直，所有的花都向着一个方向，真像一群精神抖擞的士兵。在阳光的照耀下，原本就金灿灿的花瓣更是显得熠熠生辉，几片碧绿的叶子圈在花盘周围，如同母亲的手托举着它们。

金色的花瓣中间满是深咖啡色的葵花籽。密密麻麻的花籽看似排列得毫无章法，可仔细一瞧，每一朵花都有自己的规律，从里向外有的左旋，有的右旋。哈!我喜欢在看电视的时候嗑瓜子。

我伸手轻轻触碰那向日葵的花瓣，只觉得它们丝滑如绸缎，花瓣一片一片紧挨着，叠了好多层，密实地保护着葵花籽，不像蒲公英那样让人感觉一触即散。

向日葵迎着阳光汲取养分，努力生长，热烈地礼赞着生命，从不向黑暗低头，夜晚慢慢地把头扭向东边，等待新的希望。我喜欢向日葵，喜欢它的坚持、努力、不惧黑暗。

夸父为了追逐太阳的光明而不断地奔跑。向日葵代表着光明、正义、执着、生命与希望。我要向它学习，迎着阳光，追逐着梦想，永不停歇。

姥姥家的院子里有几棵向日葵。

它的叶子大大的，好像一个爱心，叶子上有一层白白的绒毛，它的茎粗粗的，上面也有白色的绒毛，摸起来很扎手。

向日葵小的时候很直很矮，还没有我高，但是长大了之后比大人还高。它的花长在顶部，有许多细长形的黄色花瓣，这些花瓣一圈一圈的，有好多层。

中间密密麻麻的是花蕊。它长大之后看起来就像一个大圆盘，大圆盘外边是一层层的花瓣，中间的花蕊掉了之后，长出来的就是向日葵的果实。妈妈跟我说，这其实就是我们平时吃的瓜子，我尝了一下刚摘下来的向日葵的果实，跟妈妈说：“妈妈，为什么这个跟我们买的那个瓜子味道不一样？”妈妈说：“因为买的那种是炒过的，而你现在吃的这个没炒，所以味道不一样。”原来瓜子可以炒着吃，可以生吃，还可以榨成葵花籽油，吃起来可香了。

妈妈说，向日葵的花每天都跟着太阳转，早上它的花盘向着东方，中午仰着脸朝上，到了下午就朝着西方了，所以它叫向日葵。这一点我还没发现呢，看来以后有机会还要仔细观察一下啊。

看，认真观察一件事物能发现平时注意不到的细节呢！
