favorite items and paid for them at a much lower price. In the end, the money we

made added up to over 2,000.

We sent the money to the community to help children who couldnt attend

school and the seniors who needed better care.

I had a wonderful experience. Im proud of what we have done. If everyone

makes a contribution to the charity, the world will become much better.

葵乎，葵乎，胡向日？

葵曰：“阳也。”

暖也。

那是一个美丽的夏天，阳光如雨露般暖暖地洒在这片葵花地中。葵花爱着阳光的温暖，吸收着土壤的养分，宛若一个不懂事的孩子，低着头尽情的享受着。

从高高的山头望去，那片葵花地静静的安立在那儿，却又闪烁着一片金黄，稀稀疏疏，黄中夹杂着零星的墨绿色枝叶。

夜幕降临，万物沉静时，她们在低语；“我们为何是葵花？”

葵花似乎是寂寞的，在等待那似旧未旧的故人，仿佛冥冥中注定了一般。

那天清晨，一个年轻的妈妈抱着一个刚出生不久的婴儿来葵花田散步。他们一边欣赏着葵花的颜色，一边俯身微视一下怀抱的婴儿。母亲抱着自己的孩子漫无目的的走过，对怀中睡着的婴儿说；“以后你的名字就凡`高吧！”

走出葵花地，婴儿的眼睛突然睁开了。灵动的蓝色双眸，白皙的婴儿皮肤，鲜红的嘴唇………他望着他的母亲，更好奇的望着太阳。

仿佛他向往阳光，向往温暖。

葵花盛开，夏天来临；葵花凋谢，夏天过去。年复一年，花季循环往复，不知疲倦，不知终结。

十年后，在那片葵花地中，伫立着一个身着白衬衣的干净少年。一双墨绿色帆布鞋上，散布着几片葵花花瓣，嫩黄，甚至金黄。少年拿着画笔蘸取特意调制的金黄色颜料，在油画纸上反复实践着。他画了七年了，整整七年了，但始终画不出自己所想要见到的那种葵花，一种可以使自己陶醉灵魂的葵花。

他迷茫过。挣扎过，但丝毫不减他的认真，对灵魂的追求，使他在漆黑的深夜中拿着画笔寻找那被大片颜色渲染出温暖的葵花。

他不断尝试着，

失败着，

又尝试着——

微风似旧念旧地吹过，凡`高的头发被轻盈的掠动。

孤单的天空，寂寞的飞鸟。

路转弯了，天空变蓝了，温度不断顽皮的爬升，唯一不变的，是那片葵花地，以及那个少年，和他手中不变的画笔。

葵花在轻声低语，凡`高在思索。

终于，他想到了，他将画笔拿起，想象着太阳的模样，淡染出了太阳的轮廓，又用金黄色将葵花的花瓣覆盖在上面。

一笔，两笔，三笔……

太阳升起来了，葵花第一次与往日不同，她们伸挺了腰，慢慢的抬起了头，朝着那阳光到来的地方。

微笑，绽放。

在那位少年的笔下，她们抬起了头。

她们叫向日葵。

向日，向暖。

葵乎，葵乎，胡向日？

葵曰：“阳也。”

暖也。

Last Tuesday, I went out by bus. I was reading a newspaper on my seat when a voice said to me: "Would you please make room for this lady?" I raised my head and found a young lady standing there with a baby in her arms. She looked very tired. I quickly stood up and said awkwardly, "Sorry,I didnt notice it. "But the lady just smiled and thanked me. When I looked around, I saw all the passengers smiling at me for my good deed.

It is reported that ten big cities in China are being  among the top twenty cities with the highest pollution index in the world. This means it is high time we did something to bring the situation under control.

Many factors are  to the deteriorating situation: industrial wastes pumped into the air, the lakes and rivers; a increasing number of automobiles crowding into the streets; the  use of plastic bags etc.

To my view, stiffer laws and regulations must be implemented to check pollution. Industries that release wastes without  should be heavily fined. Cars should be equipped to minimize the exhaust they release into the air. And the use of plastic bags and disposable meal boxes should be banned. What’s more, the media should play an important role in implanting a sense

of consciousness into people’s mind.

If everybody works toward a common goal of making the environment better, we can create a cleaner and lovelier world for us and for the coming generation.
