今天下午，老爸手机突然一响，老爸接了电话：“喂，好嘞，马上下楼啊!”听着一番话，我就知道有邮件回来了。会是什么呢?是书还是玩具?等老爸上了楼，我三下两下撕开了盒子，里头有一个长方形的盒子，我拿出来一看，哦，原来是种向日葵的，里头还有营养土。耶!去年我种过向日葵，最终以失败告终，这一次是营养土，绝对能成功!

过了几天，我种在花盆中的向日葵种子发芽了，这使我多么高兴啊！我看着葵花籽发出的嫩芽，心里美滋滋的。只见两片嫩绿的小叶片被一根水灵灵的主干顶着，就像喷出的一根水柱到顶端分开两股一样。那嫩绿的枝叶，那么柔弱，好像只要一口气就可以把它吹断似的。芽长大了，叶子变得更绿了，主干也长高了，长粗了，两张叶片向上张开，叶面上的脉纹可以清楚看见了。又过了几天，向日葵的主干粗壮了，长到半尺多高，颜色由嫩绿变成黄绿。主干上的管子露出来了，是白色的。两片叶子长成椭圆，露出了尖角，叶面上白绒绒的，那是长了叶毛。

中午，我把向日葵端到阳台晒太阳，主干的颜色又变了，由黑黄色变成了黑红色，原来脆弱的身躯变得坚硬有弹性，上面还长满了白色的绒毛。主干的顶端又长出了两片新叶。向日葵亭亭玉立，在微风中轻轻摆动，那样子真么可爱。

又过了几天，几片叶子长得又宽又大，向日葵长出了花蕾，黄色的花瓣真好看。微风吹来，向日葵轻轻摆动，好像莲花在水面上荡漾，又好像是一位穿着绿裙子的少女在舞蹈。看着向日葵，捧着两盘葵花籽，向着太阳微笑，令我的心情无比喜悦。
