I went to visit my grandparents last August. They lived in a small village far from Shenyang. I was born there ten years ago. I remembered it had been a poor place before.

暑假，在新疆阿勒泰路上茫茫的戈壁上，不时见到一片片金灿灿的向日葵，在火辣辣的阳光下蓬勃生长。或许就是在这样一片葵花地，李娟在此生活吧；或许就是这样一片葵花地，李娟让我感受到了力量吧？

亲人的力量：温柔而强大

外婆生活在异乡，对于家的怀念，时时刻刻，心心念念，而李娟认为的好，在外婆看来却不是那么好，因为这不是她想要的，后来作者明白了，外婆却没有机会了。作者心中的自责，一直没有离去。但这种自责，可以时时刻刻监督着作者，警醒她为人处世，也让她学会了关注他人的感受。

相比之下，也是在阿勒泰我遇到的另外一位哈族老人就幸福多了。她住在青草地上的蒙古包里，脸上洋溢着一种很简单的快乐。她家牧羊，她会跟着儿孙一同牧羊转场，我到时，她正坐在蒙古包外晒太阳呢。他们世世代代都是牧人，在年老之时能够驰骋在草原上。相比之下，她的儿孙和和睦睦，其乐融融，这或许就是她给儿孙带来的力量吧。

坚持的力量：平凡而惊叹

种地的人对于土地与粮食的坚持，令人惊叹。

天有不测之云，李娟的母亲播了三次种，不是长虫了，就是被动物吃了，或者是没水。但一次次灾难降临并没有击垮他的母亲，她不信命只信自己，别人帮不了她，她便自己上。在经历起起伏伏之后，终于第四次插苗成功了。

坚持的力量或许就是击败那一瞬间，看似平凡，但若坚持，则令人惊叹——就是一次次看似平凡的击败，积累起来的。就像是长跑，咬咬牙，击败一次次放弃的念头。即使浑身乏力，你的力量依然会爆发。并且一次次超越自己，创造一次次纪录。

生活亦是如此，一次次坚持和努力，或许会让你感到疲惫。但想想李娟的母亲，她动摇了吗？从未。或许只是因为火候未到，可能再坚持那么一点点，你就会成功。

生灵的力量：活泼而坚强

这些生灵为寂静的葵花地增添了不少乐趣。即使是在这干涸的土地，人烟稀少的地方，他们依然过着有滋有味的小生活。他们一个个为戈壁上的人们增添了不少趣味。因为有了他们，人们的生活不再孤寂，无聊。他们的存在，为沉闷的大地增添了一抹鲜艳的色彩。

还有葵花。在这土地贫瘠且水源不充足的地方，只要有阳光，只要有那那么一点水，他们就能生根发芽，并且茁壮成长，最终开出金灿灿的葵花，奕奕生辉。然后，追随着太阳，肆意生长。

一切事物都富有力量，只是你还未察觉到。

今天，我和妈妈去一个大学看向日葵。我们坐了一辆公交车又转了车才到。妈妈的学生带着我们在校园的食堂吃了饭。印象最深刻的是我们吃了面包蘸冰激凌。

之后我们去看了很大一片向日葵。我们走进了向日葵，妈妈给了我一颗瓜子。奇怪，瓜子是白色的，还有毛毛，剥出来的肉也是白色的。我尝了一口是原味。

以前我吃的瓜子是黄色的香香的。向日葵里还有蜜蜂在采蜜，我很害怕。我仔细看向日葵，每个瓜子上都长着一小颗像石榴的小花。走到了向日葵的另一边，我们还看见了好多稻草人，它们都是艺术学院的学生设计的。我还和稻草人照了好多张照片。我好喜欢稻草人。

晚饭过后，和对门家的小女孩嘉嘉出去遛弯，她今年五岁，喜欢在头上扎许多小辫子，穿可爱的裙子。我一直觉得带孩子是一件很好玩的事情，可以玩好多稀奇古怪的游戏，肆无忌惮地在大街上玩耍。

难得夏天有这么清爽的晚风，我抱着一个黄色的皮球，嘉嘉骑着四个轮子的儿童自行车，一路发出“隆隆隆”的声音。她妈妈时不时喊一句，慢点，注意安全。到了广场，坐着许多爷爷奶奶，他们拿着大蒲扇，一边扇着一边聊天，笑得合不拢嘴。

嘉嘉骑着车子从一个小坡下来，她妈妈再把她推上去，然后她又骑着车子“刷”下来，玩得不亦乐乎。这样来回几次，她妈妈的脸上已经有了汗珠，却还要一边擦着汗一边陪她玩。我提议，咱们来拍球吧。嘉嘉高兴地把车子撂到一边，就拿起了球。我以为她拍着球我们就可以歇会儿，可她非要数着，于是我们开始了漫长的数数，一二三四五……大概数了好几百，她才停了下来。我们在一旁鼓着掌，嗓子却都要冒了烟。

我第一次这么强烈地体会到，作家长的可真不容易，必须要有足够的细心和耐心。她妈妈和我坐在花坛边聊天，嘉嘉显得有些不高兴，抱着球要我们陪她一起玩，于是我们开始玩传球的游戏。

小孩子总是那么容易就得到满足，玩累了，嘉嘉开始撒娇，她妈妈虽然很累，但还要抱着她哄她，把笑脸给她，而把疲劳与不安藏在身后。

这让我想到了向日葵，天下的父母都像向日葵一样，对着孩子，永远是阳光灿烂、笑容满面，让他们知道这世界的美好，而身后的阴影却从不让他们看见，即使再苦再累，也不会表现出来。

所有的家长都是这样吧，他们辛苦了一天的工作，回到家也不能好好放松，做饭洗衣服看孩子，他们放弃了电视电脑等娱乐，一心只陪着自己的孩子，这样的爱是最无私最伟大的。

那么我们呢？做子女的又是怎样对待父母的？我们长大了，翅膀硬了，妈妈的一句叮嘱不愿听，爸爸的一句劝言不理会，只顾自己的学习工作事业，连一点时间也不留给他们。可是，我们小的时候，他们花在我们身上的时间永远也无法计算清，我们又怎么能嫌和父母说说话、唠唠嗑都是在浪费时间呢？

抽空陪陪自己的父母，像儿时他们看你学骑单车，心中装着一颗不安的心；像儿时他们耐心地看你拍皮球，给你数数，数到嗓子都干了；像儿时他们看见你的一点点进步，鼓着掌时露出的美好笑脸。

百善孝为先，一个人如果连自己的父母都不孝顺，连自己的父母都不愿意陪着，更别提成功了，他一定是最失败的人。因为他没有道德，他不懂得爱人。

向日葵也需要我们的陪伴，在他们的心中，永远会把笑脸对着孩子，我们也一定要将阳光洒向他们的身上。

阳光照下来，这时向日葵正抬着头向太阳公公问好呢！

有时天空下起雨，起了雾，向日葵在雨中蒙蒙的像一片金色的海洋，时不时地翻起金色波浪。一浪连着一浪，好像画家笔下一幅栩栩如生的画，好像天上仙女飘下来的一条金色纱带。

走近关注着一株向日葵看时，你会发现它是金黄色的，走近闻一闻，并没有非常浓的气味。清晨，向日葵的花瓣上有些露珠，这像是大自然给向日葵的一串项链，挂在向日葵的胸前。在阳光下显得熠熠生辉，光彩夺目。

有时，许多蜜蜂在向日葵群中跳舞，工作，累了就在向日葵花瓣上休息，沐浴着向日葵的香味，就能消除疲劳，让神气变得清爽起来。

向日葵还有作用呢！它的作用就是能让人辨别方向，因为向日葵总是面向太阳的，然后根据什么时间太阳在什么方向，按着这样的原理，人们就能辨别方向，不会迷路。

看着这么多的向日葵，我仿佛进入了一个梦幻世界里，来到一个金色的王国，风吹来，向日葵揭起金色的波浪在拍打“海面”，好像世界上所有金颜色都是从这里流出来的呢！

What is April Fools Day and how did it begin? Well, that is a very good question. The origin of this holiday is rather uncertain. However, the common belief holds that during the reformation of the calendar the date for the New Year was moved from April 1st to January 1st. During that time in history there was no television and no radio so word spread slowly. There were also those who chose to simply ignore the change and those who merely forgot. These people were considered "fools" and invitations to non-existent parties and other practical jokes were played on them. "All Fools‘ Day" is practiced in many parts of the world with practical jokes and sending people on a fool‘s errand.

Another thought is that the origin began with the celebrations of the Spring Equinox. While some believe it has to do the a Roman festival known as Hilaria, the end of the Celtic new year.

In Scotland, April Fools Day lasts 48 hours, day two is know as Taily Day and pranks involving the posterior are played. The victim of the practical joke is referred to as "hunting the gowk"; the gowk is an extinct cuckoo bird.

In France, he is the "poisson d‘Avril" or "fish of April." The fish in April are newly hatched and easily caught. French children enjoy taping a picture of a fish on their friends back and yelling out "Poisson dAvril!" when it is found.

Da de los Santos Inocentes is held in Spain on December 28th. This is The Feast of the Holy Innocents. It‘s celebrated similarly to April Fools‘ Day with practical jokes.

In the United States, pranks are played on just about everybody. Pranks range from the standard "Your shoe is untied", to some very creative and elaborate ideas. The only "rule" is that no one should be harmed. The best jokes are when everybody including the victim laughs.
