早晨，我很早就起了床，看了看外边灿烂的阳光，便赶快穿上衣服，登上鞋来到那棵 向日葵前观察:啊，与妈妈说的一模一样，早晨向日葵的圆盘又向着东方，真神!我一边走 着，一边想着，慢慢地回到家里。我打开了《辞海》，查到“向日葵”一词。只见上面写 着:“向日葵，又称‘朝阳花，、‘葵花，，是菊科。一年生的草本植物，种子可榨油”二 喜欢阳光。”答案找到了I向日葵喜欢阳光，所以太阳在东，它向东，太阳在西，它向西。 我多么高兴啊!因为我从知识的海洋里又吮吸到一滴水，我感到自己更加充实了。

Christmas is annual festival in western world that is one of the most important festivals forthem. Previously, only westerners or Christians celebrate it. But in recent years,more and more Chinese people celebrate it, especially among young people. Thereare many activities in that day. I think there are the following reasons thatmake Christmas popular in China. First, it’s a western holiday and it’s new toChinese. Second, with the development of the world, the mutual influence betweenChina and the west makes it work. Last, the merchants make great contributionto its popularity.

Chinese New Year or Spring Festival  the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It  sometimes called the "Lunar New Year" by Englh speakers. The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first month (Chinese: 正月; pinyin: zhēng yuè) in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th; th day  called Lantern Festival. Chinese New Years Eve  known as chú xī. It literally means "Year-pass Eve".

Chinese New Year  the longest and most important festivity in the Lunar Calendar. The origin of Chinese New Year  itself centuries old and gains significance because of several myths and traditions. Ancient Chinese New Year  a reflection on how the people behaved and what they believed in the most.

Celebrated in areas with large populations of ethnic Chinese, Chinese New Year  considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had influence on the new year celebrations of its geographic neighbors, as well as cultures with whom the Chinese have had extensive interaction. These include Koreans (Seollal), Tibetans and Bhutanese (Losar), Mongolians (Tsagaan Sar), Vietnamese (Tt), and formerly the Japanese before 1873 (Oshogatsu). Outside of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, Chinese New Year  also celebrated in countries with significant Han Chinese populations, such as Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. In countries such as Australia, Canada and the United States, although Chinese New Year  not an official holiday, many ethnic Chinese hold large celebrations and Australia Post, Canada Post, and the US Postal Service sues New Years themed stamps.

Within China, regional customs and traditions concerning the celebration of the Chinese new year vary widely. People will pour out their money to buy presents, decoration, material, food, and clothing. It  also the tradition that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in hopes to make way for good incoming luck. Windows and doors will be decorated with red colour paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of “happiness”, “wealth”, and “longevity”. On the Eve of Chinese New Year, supper  a feast with families. Food will include such items as pigs, ducks, chicken and sweet delicacies. The family will end the night with firecrackers. Early the next morning, children will greet their parents by whing them a healthy and happy new year, and receive money in red paper envelopes. The Chinese New Year tradition  a great way to reconcile forgetting all grudges, and sincerely wh peace and happiness for everyone.

Although the Chinese calendar traditionally does not use continuously numbered years, outside China its years are often numbered from the reign of Huangdi. But at least three different years numbered 1 are now used by various scholars, making the year 2009 "Chinese Year" 4707, 4706, or 4646.

望着蔚蓝的天空，千变万化的云朵，我心里有种莫明的激动，蓝天下面是一大片向日葵，好比金色海。这是我今世第一次看到向日葵，我带着激动和按捺不住兴奋接触它，仔细地端详着它。

这些向日葵整齐划一，都望着天上那个炎热的大火球——太阳。那太阳好比指挥官，引领队伍前进。乍一看，还真以为是漫山遍野的军队正进行演练了！一阵风吹来，向日葵开始翩翩起舞。它们犹如一位位仙女，正婀娜多姿地跳舞呢！一阵雾袭来，满山遍野都不见踪影，我也只能勉强看见自己的手脚，又向前走了几步，双手一伸，便摸到了向日葵，这一刻，我终于明白，在没有光明的世界里，向日葵也能过得如此潇洒。

渐渐地，一阵风吹散了雾，看那朵向日葵，在微风中摇曳得自由自在，深黄色的圆边里蕴藏着金色的花蕊，这花蕊好似金子，金光闪耀，一时刺得让人睁不开眼睛。

向日葵那幽幽的清香着实让我着迷，好似一群群小精灵在你面前玩耍，而你浑然不知，直到它们调皮地跑进你的鼻孔，你才恍然大悟，原来是香味在作怪。

那一颗颗小水珠也在摇晃着，一会合在一起，好像难兄难弟抱着不肯分开，接着又滚落两方，突然翻了脸。

How to learn English well

English is important and useful to us. How can we learn it well? Here are

my suggestions.

First, we should often listen to the tapes, English songs and programs.

Watching English movies is also helpful to us. Second, we should speak English

in class as much as possible. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes. The more you

speak, the fewer mistakes you’ll make. Wed better join the English club and

practice with others. Third, we can read more English newspapers and magazines.

It’s good for us. At last, we should recite some good passages and keep

diaries.

In a word, as long as we do more listening, speaking, reading and writing,

we will learn English well.

今天，我和妈妈去一个大学看向日葵。我们坐了一辆公交车又转了车才到。妈妈的学生带着我们在校园的食堂吃了饭。印象最深刻的是我们吃了面包蘸冰激凌。

之后我们去看了很大一片向日葵。我们走进了向日葵，妈妈给了我一颗瓜子。奇怪，瓜子是白色的，还有毛毛，剥出来的肉也是白色的。我尝了一口是原味。

When cellphone became popular many years ago, parents and school at first

banned students to take cellphone into classroom, but now, even the small child

has owned a cellphone. The use of cellphone cant be banned. For students, they

On your class we feel relaxed, we don’t have the tedious knowledge spot and heavy homework. Some are only your speaking with confidence with each kind of small story, you used your personal experience to teach our some truths.

This semester, my impression quite deep is “transportation” this chapter. I have learned the transport expense computing mode, and in the transportation process the risk undertakes the way. Dear Christmas father:

Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December.It is a very happy day

for many boys and girls .Before the term ends in some schools ,the children act

a nativity or “birth” play,showing how Jesus was born in a stable.

On the twenty-fourth of December,all children are very excited.Usually they

are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready.The

younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or

fireplace ,so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in.The greedy ones

even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents.Later that

night,Father or Mother will put presents in the sock,and leave others at the

side of the bed.

On Christmas morning,the children wake up very early.Some even turn on the

light at two oclock,and most of them are awake by six oclock although it is

not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the year.Children

look for their presents,and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared.At

about one oclock in the afternoon,the Christmas dinner is brought in.The turkey

or chicken is quickly eaten.Children search in their Christmas pudding for new

coins which are hidden in it.The rest of the day is full of games and eating

今天天气炎热，我和爸爸妈妈来到了爷爷家。

一到达，我就要去看看奶奶在门前种的菜。我抬头一看，咦？怎么多了一朵向日葵？我歪着脑袋看呀看。这个向日葵可真小呀！不像张在公路旁边早已长大的向日葵，花瓣直挺挺的，中间结瓜子的地方也看起来很有力量，总是高高地抬起，活像一个运动员。但是，这个向日葵，低垂着脑袋，叶子也垂着。不管太阳公公怎么叫它，它还是低着脑袋，一副有气无力地样子。我望了它很久，心里想：“它怎么了？难道是生病了吗？”“不是的。”它根部的一处裂痕让我知道了它为什么会这样。我希望它快点好起来，结出瓜子来，好让我也尝一尝。

我真期待它结的瓜子是什么味道。

Our family enjoyed a wonderful New Years evening family dinner because it is seldom to get so many relatives to get together.My uncle,aunt and cousin,my best friend,came and had dinner with us.It took almost whole afternoon to prepare the dishes.Of course,that is a chance to show my mom and my aunts cooking skill.We also try to do something to help them,but,what we got was "going to play".It is happy for me to hear that rather than "go to do your homework".The evening dinner is so good,everyone enjoyed and aet overload to their stomach.So wonderful dinner,so wonderful new year.

Nowadays,more and more families choose to have the dinner on New Year’s Eve in restaurants.Though this choice doesn’t follow our tradition,I think it’s good and should be encouraged.

First,it’s obviously more convenient to do so.The process of preparing a home-made New Year’s Eve dinner is not only hard but also annoying.People have to buy food several days before the festival and spend a long time cooking all sorts of dishes.Now,just pick up the telephone and reserve a table.Everything will be well arranged by the restaurant.

Second,it still create a warm atmosphere by getting the family united,which is the true purpose of the dinner.In the restaurant,you celebrate the New Year and share your happiness with other families and usually can enjoy special performances or activities,organized by the owner of the restaurant.

To make a conclusion,having the dinner on New Year’s Eve outside shows a change in people’s thoughts on traditions and seems to be a wise,nice and exciting idea.

There is a trend that more and more families have their dinner on New Year’s Eve in the restaurant.Although it is more convenient,it doesn’t seem to be a pleasure thing for me.

Firstly,the restaurants are too crowded.Owing to this,we cannot talk freely.In addition,the sense of harmony cannot be felt by the family members.

Secondly,it may cost us a big sum of money which we can save by having the dinner in our own families.The whole family’s preparation for the dinner is also a process of enjoying according to my view.

In a word,it is not a good idea to have New Year’s Eve dinner in the restaurant.Home dinner makes a happy New Year.
