春天来了，我在自家花盆和乡下外婆家的菜地里撒下葵瓜子儿，盼望它快点发芽长大。

一星期后，葵瓜子儿冒出了嫩绿的芽儿，接着长出了碧绿的叶子。日子一天一天的过去了，我家的向日葵也长得越来越高了，最先是超过了我，然后超过了妈妈，后来，它竟然超过了爸爸，而且没过多久就开花了，我真是兴奋极了。每天放学回家，我都要给它浇水，站在它旁边欣赏很久。我观察到向日葵的叶子是心脏形的，周围有锯齿，茎很直，上面还有白色的粗硬毛；它开的花是黄色的，虽然很小但很艳丽。看着它逐渐长大、开花，我更加爱护它了，天气热时我每天至少要给它浇两次水。

我带着这个问题回到家，开始查找资料。原来是这样：我家的向日葵是种在花盆里，虽然每天浇了水，但缺少阳光，肥料也跟不上，又没有蜜蜂传播花粉，结不出瓜子，而且在开花后的两周内慢慢凋谢、死亡。

那怎样才能种好家庭盆栽向日葵呢？我知道有这些要求：

1、选好花盆。家庭盆栽向日葵需要一个约30厘米直径的花盆，盆里放一些塘泥垫底，再在上面铺一层营养泥。

2、播好种子。在春暖花开温度28度左右的时候，在花盆里挖一个4至5厘米的坑，把种子埋进去。

3、精心培养。一是由于向日葵植株高大，叶多而密，是耗水较多的植物，所以我们要每天给它浇一次水；二是因为向日葵喜欢充足的阳光，它的幼芽、叶片、花盘都有很强的向光性，所以我们每天早晨，要把它搬到阳光最充足的地方；三是由于盆栽向日葵的泥土有限，不能确保向日葵日后的营养，所以至少每一个星期要给它施一次肥。

如果想让向日葵结出瓜子儿，除了上述要求以外，还要授粉。但是家里一般都没有蜜蜂，所以家庭盆栽向日葵就只能做观赏用了。

我最喜欢的花不是美丽的牵牛花，也不是火红的凤凰花，是金黄的向日葵。
