夏初的时候，茎的顶端会托出一个嫩绿的圆圆的小盘子，像是戴了一顶“少年帽”。渐渐的嫩绿色变深了，一圈圈地向外扩大，不知不觉就长成了一个“大盘子”，那是它的花盘成熟了。金黄色的花盘中间覆盖着嫩黄的花蕊，花瓣好像一个拉着一个的小手围成一个圆圈。给花盘戴了一个美丽的花环。

向日葵开得热烈而耀眼，我忍不住天天去看，主要是关心向日葵的籽什么时候能吃，却有了重大的发现：早晨的时候向日葵的头就神气十足的朝向太阳升起的方向，中午的时候向日葵的头会仰望着太阳，晚上的时候，向日葵的头慢慢低下来，好像忙了一天要休息啦！向日葵是会转动地，这是为什么呢？我不相信它能天天这样，就不时去看，可向日葵好像压根儿不把我放在眼里一样，始终向着太阳，乐此不疲。我突然明白了，原来它的名字是这样由来的啊！向日葵，就是要向阳而生的意思。阳光就是它心中的追求与向往，更是它坚定的信仰！

看到这样的向日葵，我顿时肃然起敬。向日葵真是忠诚、正直、积极向上，内心充满阳光的植物。它那么坚毅地固守着心中的信仰，矢志不渝。在生活中我们应该向向日葵学习，做个正直、坚毅、为理想而执着追求的少年！

在阳光明媚的夏天，我又回到了外婆家，在田野里尽情地玩耍着……

突然，一排排黄色的花盘映入我的眼帘。走近一看，原来是面朝太阳的向日葵。他们一排一排地站在我外婆的田里，每天对着太阳微笑。这时一阵微风拂面，一片一片的叶子在空中摇曳着，在欢乐地跳着舞，仿佛在对我招手，欢迎我这个外来的客人。我再走近一看，圆圆的花盘上面点缀着密密麻麻的花蕊，花蕊四周环绕着金黄色的花瓣，像小女孩的裙摆，又像小姑娘那灿烂的笑脸。

每到旭日东升之时，我早上起床都顾不上穿鞋子就飞奔向外婆田里，看见向日葵的小脸上挂着珍珠样的露珠，迎着笑脸跟着太阳在起舞。每到傍晚时，我又一次次看见向日葵微笑着向太阳招手，仿佛在说：“太阳！太阳！我们明天早上再见！”太阳把光辉洒向山川田野，也把光辉洒在了向日葵的脸颊上。夕阳，山峦，向日葵相互交融在一起，构成了一幅幅美丽的山村晚霞图。

向日葵不仅装扮了山村田野，它还将自己的果实无私地奉献给人们。

每到秋收的季节，向日葵的花瓣纷纷凋零了下来，一粒粒饱满的果实整整齐齐地排列在花盘上，等待着它主人的到来，把花盘割下来，把果实摘下来。向日葵的种子就是我们爱吃的瓜子，它们任人炒、任人嗑，真正做到了所谓的“粉身碎骨”的地步。

我爱美丽的向日葵，因为它永远向着光辉，且将果实无私地奉献。
