向日葵为什么向着太阳转向日葵从发芽到花盘盛开之前这一段时间，的确是向日的，其叶子和花盘在白天追随太阳从东转向西，不过并非即时的跟随，植物学家测量过，其花盘的指向落后太阳大约12度，即48分钟。太阳下山后，向日葵的花盘又慢慢往回摆，在大约凌晨3点时，又朝向东方等待太阳升起。在阳光的照射下，生长素在向日葵背光一面含量升高，刺激背光面细胞拉长，从而慢慢地向太阳转动。在太阳落山后，生长素重新分布，又使向日葵慢慢地转回起始位置，也就是东方。但是，花盘一旦盛开后，就不再向日转动，而是固定朝向东方了。为什么最后要面向东方而不是其他方向或朝上呢？这可能是自然选择的结果，对向日葵的繁衍有益处。向日葵的花粉怕高温，如果温度高于30℃，就会被灼伤，因此固定朝向东方，可以避免正午阳光的直射，减少辐射量。但是，花盘一大早就受阳光照射，却有助于烘干在夜晚时凝聚的露水，减少受霉菌侵袭的可能性，而且在寒冷的早晨，在阳光的照射下使向日葵的花盘成了温暖的小窝，能吸引昆虫在那里停留帮助传粉。向日葵的花托部生长素背光分布，所以背光侧的茎生长较快，茎就会向光源处弯曲。向日葵，由于其生长前期的幼株顶端及中期的幼嫩花盘会跟着太阳转动得非常明显而得名。人们都认为向日葵朝阳仅与光能照射有关，其实与重力作用也有着密切关系。

近几年来，随着科学技术水平的不断提高，科学家还对向日葵向阳种种现象的解释做出了新的相关补充。他们在向日葵的茎叶生长区内发现了新的有较高浓度的叶黄氧化素。这种物质同生长素相反，可以阻止细胞伸长。科学实验不断表明：当光由茎的一侧照射30分钟后，向日葵幼苗生长区的两侧，它的叶黄氧化素的浓度主要分布为：向光的一侧浓度相当高，背光的一侧浓度相当低。这正好与生长素的浓度分布相关规律相反。这样说来，向日葵的向阳性和叶黄氧化素也有很大的关系。即向日葵的向阳是生长素和叶黄氧化素共同作用的重要结果。

任性了很多年，在烦躁不安时，却最想待在父母的身边，便会拨去一通电话，听到那边絮絮叨叨的，心，便慢慢静了下来。也不知道什么时候，开始发现，电话那头的妈妈，耳朵好像没那么真切了，儿时的回忆，真切的留在了脑海，可岁月里的容颜，却经不起时间的推敲。

猛然，又想起昨夜里的梦，虚虚实实的梦境，睡梦中哭的撕心裂肺，醒来时，眼角还是湿的，或许，这是告诉我，要珍惜当下，珍惜家人，而我，能给他们的又能有多少呢！？
