1月30日那天，是我和妈妈去厦门游玩的日子。原本喜欢睡懒觉的我，在那天早上，我居然早早的起了床。要知道，我对厦门可是充满了期待，经过四个小时的颠簸，我们总算到了厦门。

啊，厦门的天空蓝蓝的，水清清的，树叶绿绿的，跟温州简直是天壤之别。动车刚停稳，我就迫不及待地跑下动车，去呼吸那清新的空气。

出了车站，我们坐上了旅游大巴车。车子一路前行，导游讲解着沿路的风景和故事。经过厦门大学时，我情不自禁的喊出了声，好大好美的校园呀!导游说，如果想去校园里面参观，可以在我们自由活动的时候去。

第一站，我们来到了闽南乃至全国闻名“千年古刹”南普陀寺。那里有数不清的佛像，佛像各式各样，有站着的、坐着的、卧着的，而且脸部的表情也各不相同，有的严肃、有的安详、有的苦闷。那里最有趣的一件事就是对佛像许愿，不过，如果许下的愿望真的实现了，就得自己亲自去跟佛像还愿。

终于到了自由活动的时候了，我和妈妈赶到厦门大学，好奇地在厦门大学里逛来逛去。大学里面有个芙蓉湖，据说，以前里面还生活过几只白天鹅和黑天鹅哦!我还跟以前是厦门大学里的佼佼者的雕像合影，我希望：我长大以后能跟他们一样成为佼佼者。我和妈妈逛了一圈，想找个他们平时学习的地方参观一下，感受感受他们学习的氛围。可是，令人遗憾的是，厦门大学太大了，找都找不到。我们在里面就像无头苍蝇一样，团团转。而且厦门大学大到你去里面游玩，都需要一张地图来引路。

1月31日，我们坐豪华游轮欣赏了金门的风景，啊!金门可真是雄伟!轮船继续前行，我们经过了造型独特的跨海大桥--演武大桥。随后，我们来到鼓浪屿。

鼓浪屿是个美丽的小岛，有着“海上花园”的美名!你知道屹立于鼓浪屿东南端的巨型雕像是谁吗?让我来告诉你吧!那就是民族英雄郑成功喽!我们还去了海底世界玩。那里有趣的动物多着呢!其中有一种动物非常有趣，那就是大名鼎鼎的七彩水母了!不信你瞧!七彩水母的颜色变化莫测，一会儿变成红色，一会儿又变成绿色，它变得颜色多得都让我眼花缭乱。有最有趣的，那么一定也有最可爱的，那就是海狮啦!它一边跟我们打招呼，一边给我们表演顶球和钻圈。到结束的时候，还撒娇表示很舍不得我们呢!

2月1日，我在鼓浪屿上的一个沙滩上玩耍，玩得好不快活。我和一个同行的小弟弟奋力地盖起沙堡来，小弟弟负责运沙，我来盖沙堡。终于盖好了，再插上一面小旗子，就大功告成了，我摸了摸额头上的汗，心想：我的心血可真没白费呀!

我们参观的第一个景点是环球影城，环球影城座落在洛杉矶的好莱坞，其代表建筑是门前银白色的地球。走进影城，我们游览的第一个项目是“未来水世界”，讲述的是一群水手运用智慧战胜海盗取得胜利的故事，场面十分壮观，据说，单是这一个摄影棚，就拍出了一部旷世之作，不能不感叹当今科技的发达啊!接着，我们乘坐游览车来到了由数百个摄影棚连成的城镇区。立刻让我感到耳目一新，高楼大厦，鳞次栉比，排列着各种风格的建筑物，建筑界的瑰宝济济一堂，仿佛是一座浓缩的世界，使人心旷神怡。游览结束后，我回过头想跟它说再见时，却惊讶地呆住了，在每个建筑物后，是一个个冰冷的铁架，而那些所谓的建筑物，都只是一层布，真是逼真至极，足以以假乱真了。

在惊讶之余，我们进了一个山洞，不时传来恐龙的嚎叫声，看见人类的头骨，整个山洞弥漫着恐怖的气息。突然，石壁上出现了许多恐龙，他们悠闲自在地生活着，场面温馨，可好景不长，霸王龙来了，安逸的生活别打破了，在霸王龙的撕扯下，游览车剧烈地摇晃起来，好像散架似得。最后，游览车拖着“残肢”冲出了山洞。

迪士尼乐园是我从小向往的地方。踏进大门，映入眼帘的是卡通人物，聪明的米奇，漂亮的米尼，憨厚的高飞，可爱的唐纳德，忠诚的布鲁托……。

一座高高的假山，里面是水的世界，这就是激流勇进了，我们搭上一条船，渐渐朝山顶驶去，山洞里是无边的黑暗，只有“嗒嗒”的闹钟声才知道时间在流逝。突然，措不及防地“轰”一下，船猛然俯冲了下去，淹没在水流中的尖叫声随着船一起冲下了假山……。

此外，雪山车也是十分刺激的，一条长长的隧道里有漫天的繁星，看起来像美丽的宇宙，我们坐在车中观赏美景，正当我陶醉在如花的宇宙中时，车子像离弦的箭一般冲了出去。此时，隧道不再是美丽的宇宙，而成了一个令人毛骨悚然的黑洞，车依旧飞奔着，但轨道却翻转了九十度，渐渐向下俯冲，直到前方出现了一丝亮光，“咚”地一声，我们被重重地抛出了隧道。

游完迪士尼我们来到了丹麦城，这里是当初殖民统治时期，丹麦人的领地，因时代保留了丹麦的生活方式和建筑风格而得名。这里高大的风车随处可见，使我不禁浮想联翩，广褒的草原上有白色的野花点缀，不时传来牧人的号角，牛羊在静静地吃草，“吱呀”转的风车旁，河水潺潺地流着……。丹麦城一行使我看到与美式不同的欧式建筑风格，我不禁感慨美国果然是一个多文化、多种族的国家啊!

the lantern festival falls on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, usually in february or march in the gregorian calendar. as early as the western han dynasty (206 bc-ad 25), it had become a festival with great significance. this days important activity is watching lanterns. throughout the han dynasty (206 bc-ad 220), buddhism flourished in china. one emperor heard that buddhist monks would watch sarira, or remains from the cremation of buddhas body, and light lanterns to worship buddha on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, so he ordered to light lanterns in the imperial palace and temples to show respect to buddha on this day. later, the buddhist rite developed into a grand festival among common people and its influence expanded from the central plains to the whole of china.每年农历的正月十五日，春节刚过，迎来的就是中国的传统节日--元宵节。元宵主要的活动就是看灯。东汉明帝时期，明帝提倡佛教，听说佛教有正月十五日僧人观佛舍利，点灯敬佛的做法，就命令这一天夜晚在皇宫和寺庙里点灯敬佛，令士族庶民都挂灯。以后这种佛教礼仪节日逐渐形成民间盛大的节日。该节经历了由宫廷到民间，由中原到全国的发展过程。

till today, the lantern festival is still held each year around the country. lanterns of various shapes and sizes are hung in the streets, attracting countless visitors. children will hold self-made or bought lanterns to stroll with on the streets, extremely excited. "guessing lantern riddles"is an essential part of the festival.

lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the lanterns. if visitors have solutions to the riddles, they can pull the paper out and go to the lantern owners to check their answer. if they are right, they will get a little gift. the activity emerged

during peoples enjoyment of lanterns in the song dynasty (960-1279).

as riddle guessing is interesting and full of wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata.

直到今天，元宵点灯的习俗仍然在中国的各地流传的，各式各样美丽的花灯在这一天都会点亮，孩子们提着自制的灯笼走街串巷，非常高兴。猜灯谜也是元宵节的一项重要活动，花灯的主人会将谜面写在灯笼上，挂在门口，如果有人可以猜中，就能得到小小的礼物。这项活动最早起源于宋朝，因为谜语能启迪智慧又饶有兴趣，所以流传过程中深受社会各阶层的欢迎。

people will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also called the "yuanxiao festival."yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. it is small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean paste, jujube paste, walnut meat,

dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling. tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. it tastes sweet and delicious. what’s more, tangyuan in chinese has a similar pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning reunion. so people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the family.

民间过元宵节吃元宵的习俗。元宵由糯米制成，或实心，或带馅。馅有豆沙、白糖、山楂、各类果料等，食用时煮、煎、蒸、炸皆可。起初，人们把这种食物叫“浮圆子”，后来又叫“汤团”或“汤圆”，这些名称“团圆”字音相近，取团圆之意，象征全家人团团圆圆，和睦幸福，人们也以此怀念离别的亲人,寄托了对未来生活的美好愿望。

今天是来厦门的第二天，我们今天要去中国最美的大学厦门大学。我们坐车沿着环岛路看着美丽的风景，前往目的地。

我们来到厦门大学，一眼望去就看见好多老式的房子，门口好多人在拍照留影，我们也在那里拍了照片。

走进学校，，一路上都是老式的房子，大多数都是用于学生宿舍，我们来到一个湖旁边，那里好多好多人，湖中央还有几只黑天鹅在那里悠闲的游来游去。

我们走着走着发现已经快12点了，我们开始寻找网上评价很高的芙蓉餐厅，找了好一会终于找到了这个芙蓉餐厅，芙蓉餐厅分三层，第一.二两层大概是学生用餐的，只能刷卡，我们只能来到第三层吃饭，都已经12点30分了上面居然还人山人海，好多人还在等位置，我们等了好久才有位置坐，爸爸和2位叔叔一起行动，买票的买票，队的排队，大约花了2个小时才把所有的菜都拿齐了，而且也不好吃。

由于时间上的关系，我们吃完午饭就离开了厦门大学，沿着沙滩悠闲的逛着，在海边我们还抓了些小螃蟹，小鱼，由于，我们今天没有游泳的打算，我们都没有带泳衣，泳裤，只能稍微玩下水就会宾馆了。

今天早上阳光明媚，我觉得特别兴奋，因为要去厦门旅游了。

我们叫了一辆车去机场，一到机场就看见了我妈妈的同学了，我们都很准时。一个半小时以后，厦门尽然就到了，而且飞机上还有东西吃!

我到了酒店休息了一会儿，换好泳衣，直向泳池跑去，我到了泳池边楞了二秒，我想：这真是一个大惊喜啊，有三个池子。一个是标准池，一个是温水池，还有一个是冰水池。冰水池和温水池都有一个小小的机关，冰水池是会形成一种大大的漩涡，温水池会产生很大的气流，好像能把人冲走。我和小哥哥在标准池里游泳，游累了就去另外两个池子泡一会，休息休息。

妈妈叫我去吃饭，我都依依不舍的，我觉得厦门宾馆里的泳池太好玩了!

The reason why I write this letter is to invite you to Beijing. Beijing is the capital of China. There are many places of intreast , such as the Great Wall .the Summer Palace and so on.

The Great Wall is a symbol of China. This is because it has been built with the wisdom and hard work of countless Chinese people. The thing is a miracle. 一有人说到厦门就很高兴，因为厦门一直有个花园城市的美称。

厦门的景色也十分秀丽，有美丽的万石植物园，有见证历史胡里山炮台，还有碧海环抱中的鼓浪屿和令人长见识的荣光宝藏博物院，素有“东方夏威夷”之称的厦门东部环岛路和好玩的南普陀寺，漂亮的白鹭洲等。都是厦门美丽的景点。厦门的景色很美，可厦门的美食也不赖。当你路过中山路看到两边美食小吃，你肯定口水飞流直下三千尺的。

厦门变幻莫测的海面给人留下了难以忘怀的美好记忆，在海边放眼望去，蓝天，海面和白云呈现出一派叫人流连忘返的画面，天空瓦蓝，空气清新，花团锦簇，林草密 和遍布有致的楼房建筑和这美丽的景色，美食融为一体，这美丽的景色多么令人喜爱啊!

我为厦门感到骄傲和自豪!
