After all, every life has bad momentsas well as good ones, and the library for me is a support in bad moments. So it’s wise choice for me to stay in thelibrary.

When students are going to high school, they are under great pressure,

Since the financial crisis swept the world, the global economy has sunk into a severe recession. It’s hard to get through a day without hearing or reading news about the devastating effects of the crisis: A world of companies go bankrupt, millions of employees are laid off, high-return investment bubbles burst, and huge sums of loans can never be retrieved. Its impact on our daily life can be felt in all walks of life。

How should parents help children to be independent ?

Nowadays, the number of single-child family is increasingly growing under the Family Policy. It’s not surpring that the child, viewed as the apple of the parents’ eye, get so much attention that there is a lack of independence in the life. While the parents are eager to make a fuss over their child, they must be aware that it is their too much love that make the children’s inability to comfront the difficulties from the life.

It is necessary for parents to provide love for their child in a right way. First，they are supposed not to pray for an easy life for their child. Children should be exposed to the real world, and with parents’ help they will make it clear that life is filled with ups and downs. Second, parents do as a leader to give children a right direction and other things are left to children. Last but not least, parents’ approval of right decision from children and encouragement to children when they fail is the strength of the growth for children. Sharing children’s success with them and helping them when necessary is more vital than too much love.

If parents can act as they realize the importance of helping their children as independent as much , they will find a real short- cut to a happy life for their children.

I remember 9 months ago, I was in a hurry to prepare for the college exam. I was afraid I couldnt get to my favorite school at the time. But at last I realized my dream. Now I study Chinese in my favorite university, Hanoi University.

After going to college, my life didnt change too much. Because I live and study in Hanoi, so I dont have to leave the family or rent a house. My home is not far from school, just 15 minutes by bike. But, to be honest, I prefer to live away from home, because I can live on my own, and I can feel the feeling of homesickness.

After the study, everything here is very new to me. I study in a new environment, know a lot of new friends, learn a lot of new knowledge, and so on. At first I felt a little nervous. But now Im getting used to it. The classmates of our class are all very united, often help each other to learn, there is a collective activity, we all join. 又是几天过去，奇迹还是没出现。无边的海水无情地吞噬着他们求生的信念，把他们折磨得越来越虚弱。两个同伴对获救已不抱任何幻想，慢慢地等待着死神的降临，只有埃里克还在重复着那件似乎毫无意义的事。

一天，在尝了海水之后，埃里克忽然兴奋地大叫起来：“我们有救了，我们快到陆地了。从昨天开始，我发现海水的味道没有以往那样咸了，现在这里的咸味更淡了，这是河水把它冲淡的缘故。伙计们，我们有救了，附近就是陆地!”

终于，一路尝着海水，他们到达了大河的入海口。凭着埃里克不屈的抗争，他们得救了。

A new year,a new start, when I stand on the edgeof a new year, I cant help thinking about my plan of next year.

Just as the old saying:"Well began is thehalf of the success.” So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing, and then,at the beginning,Im quicker than the others and ofcourse I will get better result than the others.

But, what I really decide to do is that I must make good of any time I can spare though it seems impossible. While,I will do my best to live up with what I have planned, and the result will prove it.

Recently, the phenomenon of students pursue famous brands has become the focus of the public concern.They always do anything in order to buy what they want. What has caused this problem?It is no easy/simple task to offer the reason for this phenomenon which involves more than one complicated factor.

There are two aspects reason as follows. On the one hand,with the development of the economy/society/people’s living standard, we can afford the articles of luxury. On the other hand,the mind of rivalry is the most important reason.The topic of the famous brands is the main idea among the students, they think a famous brand is a symbol of sophistication and taste.

To change this situation, I suggest that college school students should cultivate positive values and look at things in a proper way.Although brand is the best way to show their status,we shouldn’t pursuit brand blindly.students ought to pay much attention to their studies.

今天，艳阳高照，万里无云。前几天因为考剧组培训等一系列事情，我好久没有好好放松了。于是我手捧着心爱的遥控越野赛车，蹦蹦跳跳出了家门。

楼下的道路没有几个人，我便“疯狂”地开起了赛车。我可是个“赛车好手”，只见那部“爆威飞狐”在我的控制下敏捷非凡：它先在拐弯处急转弯，接着又敏捷地避开几块较大的石头，然后快速穿越前面的草丛，看那青绿的野草在赛车旁“哗哗生风”，最后把车头稍微顿了顿，腾入空中，在空中反了个跟头划了条弧线嘎然落地。“太帅了!”我情不自禁地叫了声。没想到这么长时间没有训练，“功力”竟然没有退步。就这样，我的赛车风驰电掣地行驶着。

正当我高兴地玩耍时，突然，越野赛车竞“啪”的一声停了下来。咦?怎么回事?我疑惑地拿起污泥满身尘土满轮的车子看个究竟，“开关没有关呀?”我自言自语着。要是平常，我早就“好学”地去问爸爸了。可这次爸爸不在身旁，再说又不是在家里。短路了?也不像啊，电线好好的插着呢，难道是赛车受到其他遥控频率干扰了?更不像，这里没有其他人在玩赛车。到底出什么问题呢?虽然爸爸不在旁边，可我自己有大脑的。嘿，我一拍脑门，席地而坐，仔细观察车身。忽然，一滴水滴在了地上。怎么回事?我脑中闪出了一个大问号。我朝车身瞟了一眼，是电池盖部位滴的水!我小心翼翼地打开电池盖，噢，原来如此!我明白了，刚才行驶时大量的泥水溅到了车身上，一小部分粘上了电池，记得科学科上老师说过，泥水是绝缘体，挡住了电池的电流循环，所以车就会停下来。恍然大悟的我一蹦三尺高。擦干电池，赛车又行驶如飞了。

这一次，我懂得了一个弥足珍贵的道理：万事靠自己，石头可以变成金。相信自己吧，你能行!

My campus activities are rich and colorful.Learning English has become a habit to me cause I plan to study abroad in next few years.Playing Guzheng is my favorite activity.I have kept on practising it since I was a little girl and I wish to win more competitions in my campus life.

Our university has the first level equipments and the most experienced teachers,also has the best students(laugh).I consider it to be a honor that Ive got a chance to study here and I sincerely hope that we could live wonderful lives in our campus!

As we know， many people favor the idea that the college life is free and comfortable， but I’d like to say it’s not true。 As a matter of fact， my life in university is so busy that I wonder if my energy is enough。 As to my college life， I divide it into four parts， including study， student activities， library and the others。

爸爸说：“可是，儿子，你有一样做的不好。你知道是什么吗？”我摇摇头。“你是长大了！你应该学会独立才对！你是个小小男子汉！”我觉得爸爸说得很有道理。“比如说你要独自睡觉”爸爸接着说：“为了奖励你早日独立，我决定明天带你和妈妈去白云湖划船好不好？”“好耶！”我高兴地从床上跳起来。

这天晚上，我为了第二天能去划船，终于答应一个人睡觉。开始，我觉得很孤单。听到一点声响，就有点害怕，马上就缩在被子里，把头盖住。我不好意思再跑到妈妈那里，担心爸爸说我是个胆小鬼。爸爸曾多次对我说要做个勇敢的孩子，做个小小男子汉！想到这里，我决定不再害怕，就安心的睡觉了。不知什么时候我睡着了。第二天，一睁眼，我发现我睡在自己的床上，觉得真是太舒服了!原来，一个人睡觉的感觉真的很不错！

我高兴地对爸妈宣布说：“从今天起，我要学会独立了！”

On Water Shortage

No one can have failed to notice the fact that water shortage is a grave problem with which the whole world is confronted. Actually, it has become so widespread that it has severely affected peoples daily life and hindered the development of the global economy.

A number of factors could account for the problem, but the following might be the critical ones. First, with the development of agriculture and industry, an increasing amount of water is needed. Secondly, the ever-increasing population is another leading cause of water shortage. Besides, the global tendency of warming up also contributes to the problem. Whats worse, pollution and waste of fresh water aggravate the situation.In view of the seriousness of the problem, effective measures must be taken before things get worse. First, it is essential that laws and regulations be worked out and enforced to protect water resources. Secondly, people should enhance their awareness of saving water. With these measures taken, it is reasonable

for us to expect a brighter future.
