In modern society we are often sorry to see that people are reluctant to help others out, not to mention helping a stranger; offering a helping hand seems to be out of accord with the times。

早上乘公交车上学时，车上空空如也，我坐在位置上10几分钟就到学校下面公交站了，我下了车走了5分钟终于到达学校了。下午放学就不一样了。这时已是黄昏了公交车站上人山人海我知道这时是公交车“高发期”又想起上次和妈妈一起坐公交车是看见小偷偷钱的情形我不禁感到害怕起来。突然耳边响起昨天妈妈说的那一番话。从幼儿园时爸爸就开始接我上下学，现在怎么会突然没空啊。不定是爸妈要成全我自立所以......我一定不能辜负爸妈的期望也不能让他们嘲笑。于是我勇敢的小心翼翼地从口袋掏出一个硬币上车投到投币箱，在人群中拥挤了10几分钟终于到站了。在回家的那一条小路上我遇到了爸爸，原来是爸爸不放心我一个人乘公交车就一直跟在我后面暗暗保护我。

这是我第一次自己一个人乘车上学回家，我学会了自立。今天在这我要感谢我的父母要不是他们的这个决定，我想这时我还是个“皇帝”什么都要依赖别人。
