Changes in My Hometown

Great changes have taken place in my hometown these years. There used to be old and low houses on the streets,but now you can see people live and work in tall buildings. In the past, you could always see rubbish everywhere. But now the environment is clean and tidy. Many trees are planted on both sides of the street, so the air is very fresh.There were not any buses in my hometown, so most of us used to walk to work or go to school by bike.However, life is much better now. Many people buy their own cars, so they go out by car.

1.公交隧道巴士公司的工作人员在沙子口集市上检查乘客随身携带包裹内的危险物品。进入腊月，赶年集采购年货的市民日渐增多，该公司组织多个小分队到客流密集的集市检查易燃易爆等物品，杜绝危险品上车.[好尽责!]

2.近日，山东省环保厅发布大气环境质量2014年度17城市排名，青岛五项排名均居前五，其中“蓝天白云”位列第三名，二氧化硫浓度改善幅度最大。同时，青岛的“邻居”威海五项排名均居首，为山东省空气最好城市。

据了解，2014年全省细颗粒物(PM2.5)平均浓度为82微克每立方米，同比改善16.3%;可吸入颗粒物(PM10)平均浓度为142微克每立方米，同比改善11.3%;二氧化硫(SO2)平均浓度为59微克每立方米，同比改善16.9%;二氧化氮(NO2)平均浓度为46微克每立方米，同比改善4.2%;“蓝天白云，繁星闪烁”天数平均199.6天，同比增加了17.8天。

3. 30日，距离北京德胜门内大街塌陷事故发生已经5天，但记者今天从北京市严厉打击违法用地违法建设专项行动工作指挥部办公室了解到，目前，仍未和93号院业主李宝俊取得联系。

记者从市城乡建设委了解到，此次福州路打通工程施工长度约300余米，设计为双向八车道，人行道宽度约5米，道路中间及两侧绿化工程将在今年春天完成。由于华仁立交桥桥口、福州路与台柳路交叉口两处红绿灯尚未安装，周边绿化等附属设施还未配套完毕，主体完工段暂不具备通车条件。目前市城乡建设委正在对该路段后期配套做规划，待和交警部门协商完毕后才可放开通行。

台柳路贯通方面，记者在现场看到，台柳路自规划三号线至福州路路口的道路已经完成了底层沥青铺设，在进行二层沥青摊铺后，该段路将实现通车。另外，台柳路自福州路以南尚有电力线杆迁移未完成，预计台柳路全线贯通时间将在今年下半年。

青岛的变化很大吧!

Qingdao is a good place to have fun playing. There are many places of interest there. This summer vocation, I traveled to Qingdao with my parents.

青岛是一个游玩的好地方。那里有许多知名的景点。今年暑假，我和父母一起去青岛游玩。

The first day, I went to Qingdao Polar Ocean World. When I entered it, I saw many lovely sea animals. And I took some photos about them. They are penguins、golden fish、dolphins and so on.

第一天，我去了青岛极地海洋世界。当我走进去的时候，看到了许多可爱的海洋动物。我还拍了一些海洋动物的照片，他们有企鹅、金鱼、海豚等。

The second day, I went to the Qingdao Beer Festival。We drunk the fruit beer and ate some seafood. They are delicious, so we all like it.

第二天.我去了青岛啤酒节。我们喝了水果啤酒和吃了一些海鲜。海鲜很美味，因此我们都喜欢吃。

The last day, I went to the seaside and visited the sea by sightseeing boat. I also picked some beautiful shells on the beach to my friends.

Qingdao is a very beautiful city, we like it. We all enjoyed ourselves in Qingdao.

The traffic problem is one of themost serious problems in my hometown. Recently, more and more people have privatecar, but the roads are so narrow that we have to fight against the heavytraffic when we go out. Especially during the rush hours, cars and buses areunable to move. To make things worse, many people are killed in the trafficaccidents. How miserable it is!

在我的家乡交通问题是最严重的问题之一。现在越来越多的人拥有私家车，但道路却是如此的狭窄，所以我们出门的时候都必须和交通拥挤对抗。尤其是在繁忙时间段，汽车和公共汽车都动不了。更糟的是，许多人在交通事故中丧生。那是多么悲惨的啊!

For the sake of our life andsecurity, some measures must be taken to change the present situation. In thefirst place, as there are a great many cars, we should control the number ofprivate cars and vehicles and use the public transportation more often.Secondly, the government should widen the roads and build more flyovers, so asto ease the traffic pressure and reduce the traffic accidents. In addition, theundergrounds and light rails should be constructed, so that we can have morechoices when going out and do not have to worry about the traffic jams in thefuture.

为了我们的生命和安全起见，我们必须采取一些措施来改变现状。首先，因为有很多车，所以我们应该控制私家车的数量，更经常使用公共交通工具。其次，政府应该拓宽道路，建造更多的立交桥，以缓解交通压力，减少交通事故的发生。此外，应构建地铁和轻轨，这样我们将来外出时可以有更多的选择也不用不必担心交通堵塞。

青岛这个曾经的小海港，经过了三十年改革开放的洗礼，至今他已经发展成为一个中国典型的港口城市，在一片繁荣中高楼林立，路·立交桥四通八达，城乡之间的分界线在人们的心里变得模糊；正在向信息化经济化国际化的大城市方面发展。生活中所期望的从三十年前的三大件变成现在的车子房子钻石。由此可见，百姓的生活水平在日新月日的提高。

在青岛港口的变化有目共睹，从改革初期的年吞吐量还不足2000万吨，到现在的年吞吐量2亿吨，变化之大从此数目中就可以了解到。青岛港口的现代化程度优越的条件也吸引来世界各国的企业的招商引资，同时为国家利益做出了贡献。不仅如此，在青岛港工作的工作人员的后勤，衣食住行也都有了保障，在居住方面公司出资为人均面积由一人4。5平方米到现在一人28平方米，在公司里的工作室浴室食堂应有尽有功能齐全，通向了国际化的标准。许振超这个名字对我们来说很熟悉，近几年他的技术在全国普及，通过电驱动来代替较为贵的汽油驱动，为节约不可回收能源做出了贡献，还有青岛港的扩迁，使得更多的船只在青岛转港。

改革三十年奶奶家的小乡村也发生了翻天覆地的变化。十年前，每到过节或平常我和爸爸回奶奶家需要四个小时，而如今只需要四十分钟，在奶奶家的北面多了一条路，行驶的车辆源源不断。奶奶说：“在以前估摸着到时间还没到，心里就焦急七上八下的，做事也颠三倒四，爷爷也在村头望眼欲穿的等摩的，那种心情现在回想起如同很遥远；我想这也是公路的四通八达真正在我们百姓心里的畅通。

奶奶家近几年变化最大的是村貌，六层高的楼房一排排的，跟城市没什么两样，人们还是和以前一样的亲近，虽然住了楼房，但是大家还是秉承像住平房时的习惯，不时的邻居聚在一起，攒成一块唠唠家常。此外，昔日的盐碱滩变成了现在的物流中心，但在靠海处还可以看到小鱼小虾小蟹子，还是如此活跃，虽然在向城市化迈进，不过还是有土色土香。在我眼中的改革开放，会让我们的城市更加美丽，让我们美丽的港湾更加繁荣，让乡村更加富庶，让人们更加快乐安康。

You want to know sthe changes about my hometown. You know, great changes have taken place since 60 years ago.

In the past, the living conditions were very poor. There were not many buses or cars, and the roads were narrow. Usually, a big family was crowed into a small, dark house. Most families couldn’t get enough food. The communications were simple and slow. People kept in touch with their friends and relatives far away mainly by letter or telegram.

Thanks to the government, our hometown has developed rapidly in recent years. The living conditions are much better and more comfortable. The roads are wide. Some people have their own cars. Most of the people have lived in big new houses. Quite a few adults have mobile phones. Because of many good policies, I think our lives will become better and better.

变化，对三十年前的人来说，是希望生活好一点，摆脱贫困，压迫。变化，对正处于三十年中的人来说，是生活渐渐变好了，让他们看到了希望。变化，对于三十年后的我们来说，是繁荣，是昌盛，是希望经济进一步的变化。三个不同的：“希望”，三个不同的境界被演绎的淋漓尽致。

三十年间的风雨征程，三十年间的岁月沧桑，改革开放，使人们看到了希望，看到了经济腾飞的伟大时刻。改革开放三十年，是中国人民的一大突破，也是中国人民的又一起点。

忆往昔，三十年间有多少峥嵘岁月;回看今朝，改革开放再次见证繁荣时代。

听爷爷奶奶讲：以前，青岛的海边是一座座低矮的房屋，青岛虽有海，但吃鱼却成了当时的奢望，那个年代，买鱼不用钱，而是要用钱换来的鱼票。当时的海边，没有如今这么肥大的鱼，渔民都乘坐以前那种木船去打渔，打捞上来的是一条条小而不长的鱼，所以在当时，吃鱼便是一种奢望。听爷爷说，那个年代吃不上鱼，每天都做着吃鱼的美梦。听老一辈人讲，家里当时吃不上鱼，每天都盼着，等到梦寐以求的鱼来时，一家人都舍不得吃，母亲就洒上大盐块，放在透明的木橱里，像供奉神灵一样。从此木橱里就因为鱼的到来提升了身份，每次他们走到木橱的跟前的时候，望着橱里的鱼，总是忍不住要吃，想到一家人吃鱼的不易，望着望着又只好作罢，一直等到过年，才拿出来，而鱼却早已经腐坏了一家人甚是心疼。

就连现在的渔乡大省东北，在三十年前，对全国鱼的供应也不足以满足，更何况青岛只是一个城市。

在当时，有鱼票也不一定能买上鱼 ，因为鱼的供应不总是很权。即使你鱼票在多也没有用。

时隔三十年，如今，别说是鲜美肥大的与供应不求，就是个各种海鲜如海参鲍鱼也一时抢购一空。在以前，我们只懂得向大海索取鱼，好像没有了大海就没有了生活现在，我们已经知道利用大海获得更多的资源。

老一辈对我们说，三十年之间，正是政府积极向大海播撒种苗，使得鱼供应不求。

改革开放之前，“改革开放”只是一种设想，当它付诸于行动之后，人们看到的是实惠，是方便。

改革开放是中国历史的一部宏伟篇章，也是中华人民的又一力。

My hometown is located at the outside of the city. I was born and grew up there. It was a little village with natural scenery of green mountains, a beautiful river and lovely village houses. In the summer, I liked to go to picnic under the mountain and swim in the river. But now my hometown has changes.

The mountains were blown down to build the factories, and the river was polluted by the waste water from those factories. There are no more green mountains but the smoking factories. The water of the river turns black and stinks, I can never swim in it again. And the village houses are gone too, the ugly storied houses with walls are instead.

They said it is the way urbanizing is. I don’t like the changes of my hometown, it is a polluted hometown.

I live in a city, since I was small, I witnessed all the things happened in this city. Now, in my eyes, after so many years, the city has changed so much. First, the transportation has become fluent.

Many years ago, there were less bus stations, people always needed to changed their lines by many cars.

But now, almost all the places can be reached by bus, people don’t need to change the line. Second, the buildings are enlarging, this reflects the city’s economy develops fast.

Indeed, I can go to many newly built public places to have fun, some are for children, some are for the old, all of these are good for people’s communication. The city’s change reflects people keep pace with time.

我住在一个城市，当我很小的时候，我目睹了发生在这个城市的一切事情。现在，在我眼里，交通变得便利。很多年以前，公共汽车站点很好，人们总是需要通过换车来改变路线。现在，几乎所有的地方都可以通过公交车到达，人们不用改变路线。第二，建筑正在扩大，这反映了一个城市经济的快速发展。确实，我可以去很多新建的公共场所玩，一些是给孩子的，一些是给老人家的，所有的这些对于人们的交流是有用的。城市的改变反映了人们与时俱进。

为了这个，我带领大家发出倡议：不要只能让我们的下一代在图片中看那明亮蔚蓝的天空，和那青岛的红瓦绿树，碧海蓝天，不要只能让他们在图片中认识小鸟的样子!请为我们的下一代着想，节约能源，保护环境，让我们的地球更美好!

My beautiful home, where its spring scenic.
