As the new year is coming, many families plan to go the zoo and have fun together. But recently, a tragedy happened in the zoo, a man was bitten by a tiger. The public scared, then later the truth came out that the men tried to skip buying ticket and he went across the limited line. The animal has their nature. Once they are under threat, they will do the horrible thing. If the visitors behave themselves well and do as the tips, then the tragedy won’t happen. My Home Town

My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice.

I study in XX middle school. My school is very big and beautiful.

I often get up atX.00 a.m. Ten minute later I have my breakfast. Our classes begin at X.00 a.m. we have eight lessons every day. I often have Chinese,English and Maths lessons in the morning. I go home for lunch at about X.00 p.m. From X.XX to X.XX p.m, we have other lessons like Geography, History, Biology, Political and PE.

I don’t like play basketball,football and pingpang. But I like run.

I very like English and Computer lessons. English is very important. It is very hard to learn. Computer lesson is very interesting.

My school life is very colorful.

Among all means of transportation, I like bicycle most. It’s cheap as well

as popular.

There are many advantages to ride the bicycle. In the first place, riding

bicycle makes me feel independent. I can go anywhere by bicycle. Especially

during rush hours, I can still move freely. Secondly, using a bicycle is good

for environment protection, because it wont emit any waste gas. Moreover,

bicycle riding is also a good sport. While riding a bicycle, I can exercise

myself, which is healthful to me.

In my free time, I often ride my bicycle to get around in the downtown area

or in the countryside, so as to relax myself. Its really a nice outdoor

activity for me, I think.

The news that Mr Cai had passed away was known, and I fell into great

sorrow. The sound of the rain knocking on the window was so mournful that it

deepened my distress.

My memory brought me back to the class when I saw him for the last

time.

That evening it was raining, too. We started our lesson as usual at a

quarter past six. I sat in the first row, and I saw Mr Cai press his stomach

with a hand from time to time, but I didn’t know the reason then. The two hours

passed quickly. When the lesson came to an end,Mr Cai told us that he had

possibly developed a stomach cancer, and would go to Beijing to see a doctor. If

there was nothing serious, he would continue to teach us after he came back. He

was very calm and his voice was steady. He still gave us some homework. He said

that he would mark the papers as soon as he came back.

Then I started to wait for his return. I had not thought that I would not

see him any more. The cancer had taken his life, even though he was still

young.

Mr Cai’s words are still ringing in my ears,“I hope you will be one of the

best students.” I think I should work hard at English and live up to his

expectation .

I have lost a good teacher. Tears will dry up in time, but the memory will

stay for ever.

The change in my hometown is really big in these years! It used to be dirty and smelly, and there was a lot of junk in it. There were no trees on the hillside, only one tree stump. Today, I go to school with a headache. At the beginning, it is just a

slightly pain. Nevertheless, it is not until the English lesson that my head

and caring words, she gives me a glass of water. To my surprise, she offers to
