Lily, common name for the Liliaceae, a plant family numbering several thousand species of as many as 300 genera, widely distributed over the earth and particularly abundant in warm temperate and tropical regions. Lucy once was my classmate, but now she has moved to another city. However, we communicate with each other all the time, sharing our lives with each other. When she firstly moved to the new city and went to the new school, she did not adapt very well. But she is outgoing and talkative, it did not take very long time for her to get on well with others. She is so kind that people are likely to make friends with her. Therefore, I do not worry about her in the new environment. I hope she will have a new start in the new city and school and I am sure she certainly will.

此从改革的春风吹到我的家乡时，我的家乡就变了样。

首先，一辆推土机给我的家乡送来了一条“巨龙”，以前，我们的路只能容得下一辆三农车，而且弄不好就翻车，现在，别说一辆，三辆也能容下。

其二，我的家乡发生了巨大的变化。以前，人们住的是茅草屋，再又修起了砖房，现在又在城镇建设，一排排高楼正在建修，以后，我们家就能住上楼房了。

其三，人们认识到了改革开放的好处，以前，农民只想到能吃饱肚子就行了，而现在，农民意识到这些远远还不够，就大量种果树，梨树，还有西瓜等，我们这里的红富士还在出国，有的农民还在学英语呢？

还有，人们意识到了绿化环境的重要性，在党的号召下，农民都在退根还林，把以前光秃秃的山头变成了绿荫荫的林海，空气新鲜又好看。

I live in yushan. its a quite community.Ther are mang old people living here .mang families with yong children live here and mang students live here ,too.there are a lot of tall buildings and small gardens in my community . my home is nan apartment building. there are mang stores close to my home.the bank near pharmacy.

We can live in this beautiful， wonderful world， because our parents raised

us. They taught us the life every one of the first， is the first step they

taught us to walk， is they taught us that the first sentence， is they taught us

to recognize the first word... If without our dear parents， there is no us.

One time， I got acute disease， just the heavy rain that day， mom and dad

are very worried， they take me to the hospital together， dad behind my back that

day， mother behind his umbrella to us， because it was late， we only have to walk

to the hospital， the mother to the hospital to register， with my dad， waiting

for the doctor to see a doctor for me， that we always stay up till midnight， see

My friend and I are good friends.she is shy and I am outgoing.she likes studying English but I like studying math.she has long straight black hair and I have short curly blackhair.she likes playing football but Ilike playingbasketball.we are still friends.

She is always studies home but I always study at school because it is very interesting.I like watching action moves but she likes watching the TV show she has big eyes and she likes wearing jeans but I like wearing shirt.she usually helps me in my study

People always say in one life, they can’t be sailing plainly, it means

people will meet all kinds of difficulties and they are easy to feel frustrated,

the one who gets over frustration, the one who becomes successful. When we meet

difficulties, we must learn to face it in the optimistic way, so we can see the

hope and have the faith to move on. The difficult moment is just the small

interlude of our lives. As the saying that failure is the mother of success, so

we need to learn lessons from failure and then when the time comes, we will get

successful. Facing frustration is unavoidable, if we can handle it well, we will

1995 I went into taizhou junior middle school.Totally we had 7 classes,I was in class 4.The head-teacher of the class was a middle age woman.she was so strict with us.for example, i was catched when i ate a big rabbit sugar during class time,she asked me to buy that bland sugar one peice for everyone.in my opinion ,she hated everyting except study,everyweekend ,she asked us to study in school,sunday afternoon was just the free time for us.when she saw we played football,she must get the ball back to her office.someone who was to be in love was found by her,he would be punished just like a shit.luckyly,i was not found by her.i liked the girl who was my Elementary school schoolmate during my junior middle school.i didnt know she konwed or not.it ended when we graduated.but i liked to talk with others during class time,everytime i was found by her,she asked me to write 3000 words to explain why and how to do in future. nowadyas every time i remeber what happened in my junior middle school,i deeply appreciat her kindness.she is real a good teacher.

My junior middle school time has pasted ,but it will influece till the end of my life.

I like watching all kinds of sports, especially tennis. Roger Federer is

famous all around the world, who has been popular for many years. Now he is

almost 35, which is the old age for tennis player. Many players choose to quit

playing as they are more than 30 and Roger was once doubted by the public. They

believed that Roger would not play as good as before, but Roger proved that they

were wrong. This year, Roger won two grand slams. He is still the top tennis

player. Federer is the real hero in my heart. He not only keeps on playing

tennis, but also a good husband and father. He never lets his fans down.

Kung Fu Panda is the lastest project from Dreamworks. It’s a CG-animated comedy about a lazy, irreverent slacker panda named Po Po (Voiced by Jack Black), who must somehow become a Kung Fu Master in order to save the Valley of Peace from a villainous snow leopard, Tai Lung. Prophecy said that Po is the “Chosen One” to save the day. But he appears to be the laziest of all the animals in ancient China. A group of martial arts masters are going to need a black belt in patience if they are going to turn this slacker panda into a kung fu fighter before it’s too late.I like the movie because it is very interesting and funny.The monkey is voiced by Jackey Chan who is my favourite star!

Cartoon is my favorite thing. every day when i get home, the first thing i do is to open the tv and watch the cartoons. maybe someone would think that watching cartoons is a so naive thing, but i dont think so.

Cartoons refer to many things, containing some profound thought, which often makes me think about it a lot.

To conclude, i love watching cartoons. cartoons give me happiness and cause me to think deeply.

I get up at six oclock every morning and brush my teeth and wash my

face.

Then change my school uniform and eat my breakfast. I go to school on foot

at seven oclock. I do the morning exercise with all students at the playground

in the compus at nine-thirty every morning. I take a nap at twelve-thirty in the

afternoon. I go home at five oclock and eat the dinner with parents at

six-thirty in the evening.

I do my homework at seven in the evening and go to bed at ten oclock at

night.

in this holiday l was very happy.why? because my famliy go to beijing.we saw tiananmen.the sky was blue ,tiananmen was red and yello.it is very nice.then i played with my mother and father in xiangshan.in the afteroon we went to yuanmingyuan.

look at yuangmingyuan, i was very sad.in the evering we ate some litto food.

beijing was very big.i love it very much.

When memory began for me, my grandfather was past sixty-a great tall man

with thick hair becoming gray. He had black eyes and a straight nose which ended

in a slightly flattened tip. Once he explained seriously to me that he got that

flattened tip as a small child when he fell down and stepped on his nose.

The little marks of laughter at the corners of his eyes were the prodnct of

a kindly and humorous nature. The years of work which had bent his shoulders had

never dulled his humour nor his love of a joke.

Everywhere he went, "Gramp" made friends easily. At the end of half an hour

you felt you had known him all your life. I soon learned that he hated to give

orders , but that when he had to, he tried to make his orders sound like

suggestions.

One July morning, as he was leaving to go to the cornfield, he said :

"Edwin, you can pick up the potatoes in the field today if you want to do that.

" Then he drove away with his horses.

The day passed, and I did not have any desire to pick up potatoes. Evening

came and the potatoes were still in the field. Gramp, dusty and tired, led the

horses to get their drink.

"How many bags of potatoes were there?" Gramp inquired. "I dont know.

"

"How many potatoes did you pick up?"

"I didnt pick any. " "Not any! Why not?"

"You said I could pick, them up if I wanted to. You didnt say I had to.

"

In the next few minutes I learned a lesson I would not forget: when Gramp

said I could if I wanted to, he meant that I should want to.

Gram hated cruelty and injustice. The injustices of history, even those of

a thousand years before, angered her as much as the injustices of her own

day.

She also had a deep love of beauty. When she was almost seventy-five, and

had gone to live with one of her daughters, she spent a delightful morning

washing dishes because, as she said, the beautiful patterns on the dishes gave

her pleasure. The bird, the flowers, the clouds-all that was beautiful around

her- pleased her. She was like the father of the French painter, Millet, who

used to gather grass and show it to his son , saying , "See how beautif ul this

is ! "

In a pioneer society it is the harder qualities of mind and character that

are of value. The softer virtues are considered unnecessary. Men and women

struggling daily to earn a living are unable, even for a moment, to forget the

business of preserving their lives. Only unusual people, like my grandparents,

manage to keep the softer qualities in a world of daily struggle.

Such were the two people with whom I spent the months from June to

September in the wonderful days of summer and youth.

不在城市，没有名胜古迹，我的家乡只是在山清水秀的农村。

家乡不但山很美，水也很清澈。春天来了的时候，冰叮叮咚咚地融化着，谱成一支支悦耳的歌。池塘边长着许多不知名的植物和一些可以用来遮荫的大树，是平日里叔叔们垂钓的好地方。有时，叔叔们钓鱼，黄鹂鸟也来凑热闹，给人“池上碧苔三四点，叶底黄鹂一两声”之美感。

家乡的特产是山枣皮。说山枣你可能不知道，说山楂你总清楚了吧！是的，好吃的山枣皮就是用山楂的果肉制成的，如果你对美食感兴趣，可以来请教一下我的长辈。

家乡的人豁达开朗，热情好客。如果你来做客，虽然拿不出什么山珍海味，但他们会不分主客地把美味都拿出来招待你。“莫笑农家腊酒浑，丰年留客足鸡豚”。

家乡天天都在变。现在，家乡的每一个村都修了水泥路。集镇上，公路旁还安装了太阳能路灯，大小型超市有了上十家。同乡们都乐呵呵：“我们的家乡也奔小康了！”

Myhometown is Xiamen. I was born there twelve years ago. Now I live in Fuzhou,the capital of Fujian Province. Xiamen is a beautiful city that many peoplevisit there. The whole city is clean and tidy. I lived in downtown. It’s nearto the port, where is the busiest place, because thousands of people go to theGulangyu. Gulanyu is a small island. There are many distinctive buildings andpaths there. You may get lost in so many paths, but you don’t have to worry. Andevery path has its own beautiful scenery. I love my beautiful hometown.

Xiamen is a major city on the southeast coast of the Peoples Republic of

China.It is administered as a sub-provincial city of Fujian province .

The local vernacular is Amoy,a dialect of Southern Min,also called

Hokkien.Amoy is widely used and understood across the southern region of Fujian

province as well as overseas.While it is widely spoken in and around Xiamen,the

Amoy dialect has no official status,and the official language of all government

business is Mandarin.

Xiamen and its surrounding countryside is known for its scenery and

tree-lined beaches.Gulangyu,also known as Piano Island,is a popular weekend

getaway with views of the city and features many Victorian-era style European

edifices.Xiamens Botanical Garden is a nature lovers paradise.The Buddhist

Nanputuo Temple,dating back to the Tang Dynasty,is a national treasure.Xiamen is

also famous for its history as a frontline in the Chinese Civil War with Taiwan

over Jinmen (also known as Jinmen or Quemoy) 50 years ago.One attraction for

tourists is to view Kinmen,a group of islands a few kilometres away and under

Taiwanese control,from Xiamen island.

Changes in My Hometown

Great changes have taken place in my hometown these years. There used to be old and low houses on the streets,but now you can see people live and work in tall buildings. In the past, you could always see rubbish everywhere. But now the environment is clean and tidy. Many trees are planted on both sides of the street, so the air is very fresh.There were not any buses in my hometown, so most of us used to walk to work or go to school by bike.However, life is much better now. Many people buy their own cars, so they go out by car.

在一个下着沥沥小雨的阴雨天，我背井离乡。可二十年后的一天，我决定回到阔别已经的家乡看看。

早上，我狼吞虎咽的吃了几口饭，就带着我的机器人D---0067踏上了回乡的路程。过了几个小时，我便又了踏上片结实而又谙熟的土地。我走进了“村庄”一看，目瞪口呆，以为自己找错了地方，可我的GPS上显示着潍坊，于是，我怀着高兴和迷惑走了进去，刚走到大门口便听到一串急促的脚步声响这边传来！我急忙向前准备看个究竟，

结果和那个人撞了个满怀，我一看便惊喜的叫起来：“三姨！”三姨一看是我便赶紧说：“洋洋，你可到了！我怕你

找不到家门，所以来这里接了你好几趟了。”我想：我日夜思念的地方怎么会找不到呢？可是一进门，里边的样子更是令我张口结舌。一排排柳树整齐地站在路边一摇一摆，好像在你一言我一语的议论着我这个看似是来客的人。乡间的小土路已经变成了又平整又宽阔的柏油马路。以前歪歪扭扭泥瓦房已经变成了一座座美丽的小洋楼。以前的荒草地已经开辟成了一个健身器材场，一些小朋友正在玩耍。“到了！”三姨告诉我，这时我才回过神来。在吃了一顿丰富的家常菜后，我开车来到了自己的母校。

哇！这里的变化太大了！以前尘土飞扬的操场竟变成了又软又厚的纳米操场。以前窄小的教室已经变成宽敞明亮的甲级教室！这不禁让我想起儿时和同学在操场上玩闹的情景。那是多么的令人怀念呀！

到了晚上，我恋恋不舍的离开了这个我既熟悉又陌生的地方！
