we stayed in our rooms for the whole afternoon. we played cards, slept, read, practiced some english songs for the contest and did out homework. it was a little boring.

in the evening, we had the final singing contest. it was really great. at last, vanessa got the second prize. congratulations to her! all of us were proud of her. edle gave her a bunch of flowers! then we returned to our rooms.

When the summer holiday comes, I will be very happy, because my family and I will go to travel. I like travel so much, I can not only see the beautiful scenery, but also can spend the time with my parents. I feel so easy and don’t have to study, I just play and enjoy my moment. 那天早晨，我一回到故乡，杰仔就闻风而至。只见他胖乎乎的身材，脸蛋圆溜溜，皮肤黑黝黝，像刚从泥潭里钻出来的小猪似的。杰仔边喘粗气边问我：“去不去菜地的水沟里摸鱼？”我满口答应了。

于是我们俩各提着小竹篮，兴高采烈地来到一条水沟旁边。杰仔告诉我，要在水沟的上游堆一个泥坝，不让水流到下游去。而且还要在下游堆一个泥坝，不让鱼溜走。我们马上分工，我在上游堆，杰仔在下游堆。

我好不容易才沿着水沟来到上游，只见水流卷起一个个旋涡，我有点害怕，但是并没有打消我捉鱼的兴趣。我下了水，用杰仔给我买的新铲子，把岸上的泥土铲到水沟里。可是泥土却一次又一次地被水冲走。

正当我灰心丧气的时候，杰仔忙过来帮我，他见状，眉开眼笑地对我说：“哈哈，看，连水也不帮你呀，让我来驯驯它，真是老虎不发威，就当我们是病猫了！”说完，他便在低洼处挖了起来。我晓得刚才他是在安慰我。我凑过来，只见杰仔一会挖这边，一会儿又挖那边。

我好奇地问道：“杰仔，你这是干什么？”他煞有介事地一边摆头一边吟道：“事情有了结果，你自然就知道了！”说完，他看着我大笑起来。不一会儿，一条水渠完工了。我恍然大悟，原来他是想把水引到低洼处。果然，水流哗哗地流了下来。我们高兴地拍着手掌，又蹦又跳。可是想起泥坝，我们又埋头干起来。终于，一个结实的泥坝堆好了。

我们开始把水沟的水舀走。虽然要站在水沟里，但是脚跟触到鱼儿在水里打转，十分有趣。当我们把水舀到只有脚跟高时，水里的鱼儿纷纷跃出水面，溅起的烂泥花射得我满脸都是。杰仔望望我，我也望望杰仔，大家不由得扮起鬼脸来。

我们把大的鱼儿一条条捉入篮子里，留下小鱼在这里继续生活。收拾一番后，我们把泥坝拆了，再把低洼处填平。

回到家，杰仔把所有的鱼送给了我，让我好好养活它们。

直到现在，这些鱼儿在我家的鱼缸里活得自由自在。

I plan to go to travel alone this summer vacation. I have traveled several times, but gone with my family or friends, never did it alone. I told my parents about my plan, they supported me very much, and they thought it is a good opportunity to help me grow up. They also told me many tips of traveling and prepared the package for me. I am grateful that my parents understand me and respect my decision. I won’t let them down.

2.预习语文六年级上册的古诗词，文言文，日积月累等等。并有重点的选择背诵。

3.预习六年级上册数学相关内容。

4.预习六年级上册英语的课程，默写有关单词，听磁带。

5.每天看课外书，报纸，还可以看看动画片，但时间不能太长。

6.写暑假日记一本，作文10篇，练好钢笔字。

第二，生活计划具体如下：

1.培养个人的生活能力，比如：做饭、洗衣服。帮父母干一些力所能及的家务活，扫扫地，给父母捶捶背，帮父母买点东西等等。

2. 要注意个人安全等方面问题，不私自下河游泳，不能私自外出 ，不做危险违法的事。

3.要每天锻炼身体，坚持跑步，每个星期天去爬一次山。每个星期六去游泳馆游泳一次。每天还要早起，不睡懒觉。如果父母不在家，不能给陌生人开门，不跟陌生人讲话.。见人要有礼貌。

这就是我的暑假计划，我相信只要认真执行这些计划我就一定能过一个美好，愉快的暑假！

It was cooler than yesterday. One of my father’s friends invited me to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will climb the hill to eat red bayberries. Everyone always has a good Sunday. On Sundays， everybody does some things what he like.

Last Sunday， Jack had a relaxing Sunday. He got up 6 o’clock. After breakfast， Jack played basketball with his friends. They were very happy. Then he played the guitar in the room. whats your plan for dragon boat festival?

As a chinese, I was really ashamed of having a little knowledge of dragon boat festival. Perhaps I was born in northern city, though my city is nearby sea, it has been built a U port which I can only see cargo ships and can’t see the sweeping ocean.
