west to east, across deserts, over mountains, through valleys till at last it

reaches the sea.It is one of the wonders of the world.The Great Wall has a history of over twenty centuries. The first part of it

was built during the Spring and Autumn Period.

放假了，也不能老闷在家里。今天，我和爸爸妈妈回了老家。由于现买东西走的有点晚，到家都算下午了，都一点钟了，在姑姑家吃完午饭，又陪奶奶聊了会天，我们就去了二姨家。

回到乡下老家，我参与了一件有趣的事，那就是夜晚摸爬叉。

我和妈妈出门了，去了一片小树林。由于路不熟，我跟在妈妈的后面，一会儿照照树，一会儿看看地上有没有爬叉出来。这里杂草丛生，我们一会儿看看路况，看看哪里好走，草少一点儿。

来找爬叉的人很多，所以到处都是手电筒的光，很多光束在树林里摇来摇去，好像是森林舞台似的。安静的树林里时不时的传出几句说话声，在树林里久久回荡着。

我们这边照照，那边照照，边照边看，希望能快点看到爬叉的影子。我们一边走一边照着看……啊！看到了。妈妈抓到了它，把它放进了早备好的瓶子里。

我们继续找起来。突然，离我不远处响起了惊喜的声音，原来妈妈又抓到一个爬叉。又走了几步，妈妈还捡到一个爬叉的壳，妈妈说爬叉壳也能卖钱呢。

我们继续找呀找。在小树林里有不少的蚊虫呢，蚊虫叮咬，隔着衣服也会被叮咬呢！找爬叉可真不容易啊！又过了一会儿，我给妈妈说我感觉被蚊虫叮咬的不舒服，要求回家，妈妈说，那就回家吧！于是，我们边走边找。

我们往家里走，在回家的路上妈妈又找到了一个爬叉，我也在回家的路上找到了一个爬叉壳，心想：好歹捡了一个爬叉壳，也不算空手而归呀！

回到了二姨家，没有了蚊子的叮咬，我立刻又兴奋起来了，洗了个澡，又和爬叉一起玩了起来。

这次妈妈捉了四个爬叉，二姨捉了两个，总共6个爬叉了，还捡了几个爬叉壳，今天收获还不错吧。真没白被蚊虫叮咬啊！

这次我虽然没有抓到爬叉，但我也很开心！多了一次体验，多了一次收获嘛！

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way.

很快，就来了一条小鱼，我一下就把它捉住了。接着又来了一条大鱼，可大鱼却异常灵敏，三两下就避开了，我灰心丧气了。这时，身旁的表哥决定和我合作，我立即就像变了个人似的，不再灰心丧气了。我和表哥商量了一下战术后，就开始行动。果然一下捕到好多鱼。方法其实很简单，首先，我把鱼赶到一个角落，接着表哥再用水盆把鱼一捞，然后我再把漏掉的鱼用鱼网捉住，这样就能捉到很多鱼了。最后，我和表哥满载而归！

暑假很长，作业很多，但快乐也很多哦！古城里有我快乐的回忆！

the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.

then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

一、时间安排

1、 每天的四个“1小时保障”

每天保障做一小时的语文或数学寒假作业；

每天保障一小时的无负担课外阅读；

每天保障一小时的英语自学；

每天保障一小时的户外活动或运动。

2、计划与非计划

如无特殊情况，每天必须完成以上计划；

每天的计划在得到“保障”的前提下，可灵活自由安排；

如果因外出旅游、回乡下度假等意外安排，可临时不予执行；

可以偶尔睡懒觉，但不要影响当日计划的实施。

二、学习计划

1、 不参加语文、数学的培优，不请家教，相关课程自己独立完成。

2、 语文课程计划

7月份完成暑假作业，8月中旬前检查、改正，查漏补缺；

把自己的藏书系统再读一遍，重点读历史、百科知识大全、漫画、中外名著导读等丛书；

假期可以自己买三本自己喜欢的任何书籍；

把以前稍显薄弱的阅读题的规范回答、错别字系统复习。

3、 数学课程计划查看.

7月份完成暑假作业，8月中旬前检查、改正，查漏补缺；

假期完成五年级《奥数提高班》的自学，基本掌握其要领，有选择性挑选典型题目做。

自己注意计算细心化的纠正。

4、 英语课程计划

英语学习能力和成绩一般，要重点加强学习兴趣和能力的培养；

把三年级和四年级的学校课本系统复习一遍，每天坚持听剑桥英语的磁带，时间不限；

假期把以前记得的英语单词都记在小本子上，分类汇总；

若有兴趣、有机会，可以把语音和音标接触、巩固一下，尽量保证发音标准。

三、活动安排

1、 随父母至少省内出去旅游一次，争取省外旅游去一次；

2、 至少去乡下亲戚家2次，体验生活，其中爷爷家族亲戚去一次，外公家族亲戚去一次；

3、 每天保障一小时的户外活动或运动，散步、溜冰、找小朋友玩等，要注意安全；

4、 每两天至少帮家里做一件家务事（10分钟以上），洗衣服、择菜、简单做饭等；

5、 一个人尝试独立在家呆1-2天；邀请同学或者小朋友在家玩若干次，并独立招待；

6、 每周玩电脑2小时左右，重点加强打字能力的提高；

7、 尝试掌管家里经济和家务安排1-2天，当1-2天家长；

8、 其他：根据具体情况，灵活安排。

Times flys. My summer holiday is coming to the end. My holiday is just so so. It is not too much difference as before. At the biginning of the vacation, I was doing my homework. This July, I graduated from primary school. I was enrolled to a good middle school. Therefore, I had a happy and leisure summer holiday. In the middle of July, I attended to a summer camp. It’s about English. There were twenty five students in the camp. We all like English very much. Together, we studied and played. There were many activities, team work or single performance. We tried our best to put ourselves into this big family. Most of the time, we talked to each other in English. If we really don’t know how to express in English, we could ask for help.
