TheSummerVacationis coming soon, and I feel so excited. It is time to make somePlans for the long time. My mother have asked me to learn swimming, because she thinks it is a very important skill. So I decide to join the lesson. I also plan to go back to my hometown and spend some time with my grandparents. I miss them so much.

Spring Festival

My best festival is Spring Festival. It is in Janurary or February. It is the most important festival for the Chinese people. On that day everybody dresses up. First they extend greetings to their parents. Then each child will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up in red paper.

People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings, for breakfast, the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot from ancient China. So people eat them and wish for money and treasure.Burning fireworks was once the most typical custom on the Spring Festival. I like spring festival very much. Its my favourite holiday.

Lantern Festival is a Chinas traditional festival. It is celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month of the lunar year.

I,antern Festival is one of the biggest holidays in China. Several days before Lantern Festival, people begin to make lanterns. Lanterns are made in the shape of different animals, vegetables, fruits and many, other things. While making

lanterns people usually write riddles on lanterns. On the eve of Lantern Festival, all the lanterns are hung up.

On Lantern Festival people go outside to have a look at the lanterns and guess the riddles on the lanterns. Perhaps you call see some wonderful folk performances,Dragon Dance and Yangko. Everything is very interesting and everyone is very happy. Our life is rich and varied.

i went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays this year. i liked green plants, clear rivers lovely amimals there.i breathed the fresh air on the mountain sometimes i went swimming in the river. i kept a diary every day.

i liked not the scene of the countryside, also the people there. i helped them to do farm work. i also helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons. the children were interested in english. they were good at reading writing, did not do well in listening speaking. i helped them improve their listening speaking. their parents thought highly of me. i realized that knowledge is greatly needed in the countryside.

My traveling plan

I hope to go on a trip to Beijing,but my mother always tells me "you cant".She thinks I am too young to go to Beijing,and I am too busy at school.This term is over,To my surprise,my mother will take me to Beijing.I am very excited!Then I have a traveing plan for this trip:firstly I will go to the tiananmen square,I will take many pictures,then I am going to the palace museum,I can see many old builds there.secondly,I am goingto the wangfujing street,we will buy many things,for example,foods,clothes and some books.then I will go home. I was very careful because it was easy to slip and fall. Then, I carried the barrel of water and returned to my house. My figners were frozen stiff. I realized my effort was in vain. I hated myself.

I failed to finish the assignment but I did experience life through a trifle which seemed easy but difficult to do well. Such was my first experience of life.
