老师交给了我一项任务，下星期的演讲会要我来代表全班上去演讲。我从小就胆子小，从来没在大场合抛头露面过，这次竟然要在全校师生面前滔滔不绝地讲上5分钟!当然，老师体谅到了我的难处，答应我放弃，可以让别的同学代替我。末了，老师意味深长地说：“好好考虑考虑，老师期待着你的答复。”

面对这次挑战，我不知如何是好。答应吧，我实在没有把握;拒绝吧，辜负了老师对我的希望……我脑袋里乱极了，两种想法的冲突愈演愈烈，我就像一个过路的人，面对着岔开的两条大道，茫然地望着远方，不知选择哪一条。

终于，我按捺不住苦恼，把所有想法告诉了爸爸，本以为肯定会收到较为满足的回答，谁知他竟然说：“你应该有自己的选择。这是一个机遇，也是一个考验，你好好想吧!”我似乎有些懂了，命运不就是把握在自己手中吗?推开窗户，一股清新的空气扑面而来，我发涨的脑子顿时清醒了许多。这时，天空中飞过一群鸽子，小小的飞鸟都能向蓝天挑战，在高高的空中翱翔，难道我不能面对挑战?最大的敌人莫过于自己的惧怕心理，我要战胜它，做出我自己的选择!

经过周密的预备，我的演讲取得了好评。在一片掌声中，我内心无比激动，我终于懂得了，过程就是结局，在我选择一条战胜自我的路时，我已经成功了!

在人的一生中失败是常事。几乎每个人在一生中都失败过。当一个人打算做某事失败时，他常常感到沮丧。有些人会屈服于失败而畏缩不前。而另外一个人却坚持不懈并取得最后成功。

成功是人人都期待的，成功可以使人成名、荣耀。当一个人在做某事时成功了，他是那么高兴以致常常忽略了他曾经做过的那些没有成功的事情。

正如俗话所说，“失败是成功之母。”失败是走向成功的重要因素，这是毫无疑问的。成功的道路上充满各种困难和障碍。许多重要的发明和发现是经过数百次失败才成功的。只有经过许多次失败后取得的成功才是真正有价值和值得称赞的。

最后说说乔布斯,他真的是一位天才设计者,他是美国工程院唯一一个没有在大学读完一年书的院士,他大学读了半年就退学,但是没有离开学校,还是作为一名傍听生,同时在自己的车库里开始创办自己的公司.由于他抓住了每一次技术革命的机遇,将苹果机及时更新换代,带领团队将苹果公司从一个辉煌迈向另一个辉煌,从而造就了今天的苹果帝国,也成为了手机行业的领头军.

纵观三位成功人士,他们都是善于抓住每一次机遇,并果断作出决定,经过奋力拼搏,成为世人所仰望的强者.

所以成功与机遇息息相关,一个不会抓住机遇的人是不会成功的.

Some people regard opportunity as the most important part of their life. Its the way to success. So when they see their friends succeed, they will complain that they are not lucky enough to have the opportunity. But other people think that opportunity is sheer luck, with their hard work, knowledge and skill, opportunity will be waiting for them everywhere.Although the attitudes towards opportunity are different, opportunity is important indeed, and no one should neglect( ). 雕塑家罗丹砍掉了众人称赞的完美的成功雕像的双手，为的是不让这双手成为众人的焦点，进而取而代之，保证雕塑整体的完美。这个断手保全身的做法，就是舍去细枝末节，突出主干和大局。这就告诉我们一个做事的道理：做任何事情只有抓住关键，方能赢得成功。

现实又何尝不是如此?许多日常之事便如那雕像，重在全局。凡事都有主次，抓住那根主线，也就抓住了事务的关键。过于重视细枝末节反而成“捡了芝麻，丢了西瓜”的蠢材。

抓住关键，能救人一命。在美国，医生自杀率最高的是哪一科，是眼科医生。想想，纱布揭开便意味着宣判。问题是前一个手术刚失败，下一位病人便等着开刀。伤感?医生不能感伤，不能犹豫，更不能时时自责。因为那样会时下一个等着手术的病人遭殃，他们更知道下一次比上一次更重要。不让下一次失败，只能让它成功，因此，必须立刻振作起来，对于已经犯的错误，或曾经的失败，不要纠缠不休，只有认清主次，抓住关键才能让更多的手术达到最大的成功率。

抓住关键，须学会放弃。加拿大的北部森林有一种老鼠叫花纹鼠，它们最大的特点便是寿命长。秘决是什么?就是学会放弃。它们不会取食某棵树上十分饱满的果实。因为那些饱满的果实是由即将死亡的树耗尽生命注入的，虽然饱满却有毒性。花纹鼠不食毒松子，懂得放弃，寿命因此延长，

生命既有长度又有深度。所以，一味追求一个方面的生命是枯燥无味的，要让生命更有意义，切勿因小失大。

抓住关键，要懂得取舍。当柯达公司生产出当时世界上体积最小的相机时，公司高层打算利用新相机优势快速强占市场。创始人伊斯曼却将专利无偿转让。面对一路下跌的相机价格，伊斯曼却笑了，他指挥团队大卖与新相机配套的胶卷，因为该胶卷只有柯达有，他们很快赚得盆满钵满。因此说，机遇可以创造，但前提是懂得取舍，这就如同种庄稼，唯有广施良种，让左邻右舍都拥有相同的优质种子，自家土地上的粮食才会颗粒饱满。

不抓关键，失败的根源。就像一个买椟还珠之人，对于那个华丽的装宝珠的盒子，十分感兴趣，将珠宝买到手后，却将匣子手后，却将匣子留下，将珠宝还给买家，这不是滑天下之大稽吗?只重视表面而轻视本质，拿个芝麻当西瓜——傻瓜!将并无多大价值的盒子当成珍宝的人，在现实生活中会经常发现：只顾眼前，忽视长远;只顾外表，忽视实质;只顾自己，忽视集体。这种本末倒置，抓不住关键的人是蠢材，蠢材必败无疑!

俗话说“打蛇打在七寸上”、“提纲挈领”、“纲举目张”，生活之事也是如此，只有抓住关键，才能将工作、事业等完成得淋漓尽致，一切困难迎刃而解。
