爸爸笑了笑，接着又说：“当然用来投资生意——就是做旗子，当年雄心壮志的我，遇到这种机会，是不会白白错过的。”

“那当时的你会做生意吗？”我很讶异。

“不，那时的我什么也不会，什么也没有，有的就是一颗敢作敢为和勇于创新的心。”爸爸说得很自信。

“是呀，当时我听到你爸这决定，也懵了。但我清楚他敢于拼搏的个性，所以我赞成他的决定。”这时妈妈也走了过来，脸上挂满笑容。我点点头，继续问道：“可为什么要选择做旗子呢？”

“是因为那时正好赶上重阳节，我认为搞一些新鲜而又应节的东西，应该颇受欢迎。于是选择了做旗子，旗子上面印有精美的图案和一些美好的祝愿，以及一个仿古的图章，这样的旗子很是吸引眼球。

“但我当时什么材料和工具也没有。怎么办呢？我干脆一不做二不休，亲自去找制衣厂、雕刻厂和印刷厂什么的。要知道，那时我还没做过生意，一点经验也没有，但我还是放胆地到处打听、到处寻访。最终让我准备好了所有材料。

“为了省钱，我和你妈还亲手连夜加工某些步骤，记得那时做完后腰背十分酸痛，手指也不能动弹了。”爸爸说得很平静。

这时的我感慨万分：“爸妈你们还真有毅力呀！”

爸爸温和地说：“不付出哪有收获呢？”

“那最后呢？”我穷追不舍。

“重阳节当晚。街上人来人往，我们把旗子摆到大街上，前来观看旗子的人果然很多。”爸爸歇了歇，继续说，“不过，真正买旗子的人却不多，所以最终还是亏了。”

我很不解，为什么会这样。爸爸说，现在回想起，当时应该是营销经验不足，导致销售效果不佳，生意失败。

“但是——”爸爸突然一本正经地说，“人生如长河，九曲十八弯，失败就像滔滔江水中的一个个旋窝，只要有信心和毅力，勇于奋发、敢于拼搏，最终定能挣脱出旋窝，并以此作为人生新的起点，继续向前奋进！”

我深深地点了点头，仿佛明白了什么。

听爸爸讲完那过去的故事，再重看这张泛黄的照片，爸爸似乎更加英姿飒爽，手里拿着的旗子，也仿佛在我眼前迎风飘扬，像在启迪着我某个道理。
