1月8日下午消息 ，2015年度国家科学技术奖励大会今日在京举行，百度凭借机器翻译项目，获颁国家科学技术进步奖二等奖。

国家科学技术奖由国务院设立，属于我国最高级别的科技奖项。国家科学技术奖励授予在各个领域实现重大技术突破、做出创造性贡献的中国公民和组织，此前获奖的“载人航天”、“探月工程”、“青藏铁路”等成果举世瞩目、彪炳史册。百度机器翻译项目在大会上被授予国家科技进步奖，成为BAT中首个获此奖项的企业。

机器翻译是人工智能领域最难的课题之一。1947年，机器翻译步入历史舞台，50年代机器翻译研究持续升温，美国、前苏联等国家均出现了研究热潮。然而多年来机器翻译却一直处在象牙塔中，因为让机器理解人类语言，要经历从分析、理解到转换生成等繁杂步骤，让原本只认识“0”和“1”的计算机去实现不同语言之间的翻译，涉及到语言现象的灵活多样、翻译知识获取难度大、翻译模型计算复杂度高等多个难题。

此次由百度与中科院自动化所、计算所、浙江大学、哈尔滨工业大学、清华大学等共同研发的“基于大数据的互联网机器翻译核心技术及产业化”项目，突破了机器翻译领域内的四大技术难题——(1)提出基于大数据的互联网机器翻译模型，快速响应高负荷翻译需求;(2)基于大数据的翻译知识获取，克服语言数据噪声问题;(3)通过深度语义分析和翻译技术，解决语言语义歧义问题;(4)提出枢轴语言机器翻译技术，实现了稀缺语种的多语言翻译。

据悉，百度机器翻译技术目前已实现支持27种语言，702个翻译方向，每天响应近亿次翻译请求。除了在学术领域取得丰硕的研究成果外，该项目成果已应用于国家多个重要部门以及百度翻译PC端和移动端产品中。

此外，百度还通过开放API，支持了华为、金山、OPPO、敦煌网等上万家第三方翻译应用，有力地提升了我国企业的开放创新能力，带动了相关产业的发展。在上月召开的乌镇世界互联网大会上，百度创始人李彦宏曾向习近平主席介绍了百度机器翻译技术，获得了习主席的肯定和赞许。

在技术应用方面，百度机器翻译目前在全球拥有超过5亿用户，支持的中文、英文、西班牙语、日语、韩语、法语、俄语等27个语种在全球覆盖超过47亿人口，同时支持上万家第三方应用，服务海量用户、惠及人们的日常生活，因此有专家指出，它是今年国家科学技术奖中覆盖全球人数最广、对人们工作和生活最具实用价值的项目之一。

百度技术副总裁、机器翻译项目负责人王海峰表示：“破除语言壁垒是互联网时代的用户’刚需’，能更好地把人和多语言的信息和服务连接起来。也许三五年后，看似高大上的机器翻译会融入日常生活的方方面面，而机器翻译产业浪潮也将达到全新高度。”

孟子（公元前372年―前289年），名轲，字子舆，中国古代著名的思想家和教育家，儒家学派的重要代表。他是战国时期的邹国人，出生在邹国（今山东省邹城市）马鞍山下的凫村（凫村1960年划归曲阜市）。

1.性善与四端 —— 道德价值的根源

孟子的「性善说」， 主要发挥孔子「仁」的观念。孔子中的「仁」缺乏了理论基础及尚未解释「道德价值根源」的问题。因此， 孔子要建立「道德价值根源之自觉心」， 认为善是人的基本自觉， 这种自觉是表现於恻隐、羞恶、辞让及是非四端。「四端」说明道德价值的自觉， 是与生俱来的。这便能补充孔子「仁」学理论的不足。

2.义利之辨 —— 道德价值的论证

孟子认为「四端」是内在於自觉心的， 属於人的「本质」， 即所谓人的「性」。人之性， 必有异於禽兽之处， 这种「异於禽兽」的性，  便是「善端」。他指出， 人之所以不善， 是由於受私欲蒙蔽。因此， 人应放弃私利， 以达到社会的公义。目的是建立良好的个人道德观。

3.养气与成德

孟子提出必须靠修养及发挥善性的功夫， 以全力扩充存於内心的「四端」， 孟子称之为「尽性」。「尽性」的修养， 培养出浩然之气， 使人成为「富贵不能淫， 贫贱不能移， 威武不能屈」的「大丈夫」， 再以「心志统气」， 控制自己的情感， 便能成德。

4.道德天

孟子认为现实世界是道德的世界， 而道德根源背后的标准， 便是「天」， 「天」表现于人， 便是「性」。人苦能有足够修养， 便能知天， 达致「天人合一」。

长城是我国的“世界遗产”之一，它像一条长龙盘旋在中国北方辽阔的土地上。凝结了中国古代劳动人民的血汗和智慧，是中国古代文明的象征。可是，现在的它，正在强颜欢笑，正在遭受了人们的摧残与破坏，已失去了它往日的辉煌与雄伟。

随着参观长城的游客越来越多，给长城带来了显而易见的破坏，例如：白色塑料袋、矿泉水瓶、果皮、纸屑等垃圾随处可见，严重地破坏了长城的卫生。游客还在城墙上乱涂乱画，弄得城墙狼狈不堪，破坏了长城的美观。当地村民还在垛口处和通往长城的小路上私自搭设梯子，设点收费，我为他们的行为感到羞耻。更可恶的是一些房地产开发商为自己的利益，不顾别人的劝阻，在长城周围建了很多建筑物，挖土机还在隆隆作响，铲车还在来回穿梭，忙得不可开交，不惜破坏了长城周围的景色，加速了长城周围自然景观的破坏……

站在长城上，扶着墙上的条石，耳边似乎响起了古代战争时的号角声，眼前似乎展现打战时气魄雄伟的场面。长城经历了无数次战争的洗礼和岁月的沧桑，至今还巍然屹立在我们面前。它以雄伟与壮观的景象吸引着无数前来参观的游客。它是我们古代劳动人民智慧的象征。所以，我们要保护长城。只要游客少扔一些垃圾，长城就会多一份美丽。因此，我要向大家呼吁:请大家保护我们古老的长城吧!让我们携起手来，从我们做起，从现在做起，做一个文明的游客。

我相信:只要你我的努力，古老的长城会永远雄伟壮丽的屹立在中国这辽阔的土地上。
