Since its first appearance in the 15th century in the courts of European royalty, ballet has become one of the most loved forms of dance. One of the most beloved ballets is “Swan Lake.” First performed in Russia in 1895, it continues to thrill audiences around the world today.

There are three feasible ways, in my opinion, which can raise public awareness of our surrounding environment. Firstly, the appropriate education in schools can be applied to build our concept on the importance of environment and it should be taken good care. Secondly, more and more green or environmental promotions should be carried out. For example, use public transportation more frequently instead of private vehicles; print double-sided instead of one-sided to save papers. Furthermore, researches on clean energy and sustainable development should be enhanced. The natural resources on earth is not infinite and we should seek for a better method to protect our circumstance in the long run.

Dear Sir,

I was very interested in your advertisement in todays edition of The Evening Post and I should like to apply to be a member of the Amazon Expedition team.

I am twenty-three years old and have an honors degree in Botany from Bath University. Since leaving university I have been working in a research laboratory but my contract comes to an end in six weeks. I would particularly like to join the expedition for the opportunity it would give me to study the plant life of the area.

I enjoy several outdoor activities including rowing and rock climbing and I consider myself to be both fit and healthy enough to undertake such an expedition.

Santa, I dont know what you really look like, but Ive seen a lot of

pictures of you. Every year on December 25, you bring us Christmas presents.

Legend has it that you will ride in a reindeer wagon full of presents and

pull a sleigh to deliver presents to each child. I also know that you will wear

Christmas clothes, wearing a red Santa hat, quietly put gifts into the

childrens Christmas socks.

So every child likes Christmas very much. It is a festival full of fairy

Every Year at Christmas, we can make one wish come true. This Christmas, I

Nowadays, with the development of Internet, people count on the Internet to

do a lot of things. The most common thing is to follow the information they are

interested in. Most people like to write down their comments, while as there is

no law to limit the comment. I always see the negative words. Internet has

become a main way for people to attack others. So horrible it is. We should be a

wise person. The way we respect others decides what kind of person we are. It is

unwise to follow the bad comment and attack others. We need to have our own

judgment and be a nice person.

2020年的除夕夜在新型冠状病毒带来的一片灰色中到来了。这真是一个太过浓墨重彩的戏剧性时刻，渴望与亲人团圆的热切与越来越发酵的疫情，注定要让所有国人经历一场理智与情感的拉锯战。本来应该是举家团聚、共享天伦之乐的日子。然而，疫情无情人有情，面对疫情，忙碌了一年的医务工作者，主动放下了手中和家人相聚的碗筷，取消了陪爱人孩子外出度假的行程，广大党员干部更是主动请缨，重新披上“白衣”，头戴“燕尾”，义无反顾地冲到最前线，去守候广大人民的生命安全，去实现作为党员的初心使命。疫情面前，在医护工作者的字典里，绝对没有“退缩”二字!武汉，你作为我们中国历史上商业发展的重要地理枢纽，你不能倒下，我们在背后支持你，不要忘了你背后还有我们强大的祖国!习近平总书记在会见中指出：“疫情是魔鬼，我们不能让魔鬼藏匿。”抗击疫情，共渡难关，科学防控，精准施策，疫情当前，众志成城!98年的洪水，03年的非典，08年的汶川地震，13年的H7N9，19年的台风，我们中国都挺过来了，2020年的新型冠状病毒，我相信我们也一定能挺过来!当前，疫情越来越严重，确诊人数也不断增多，有的病人因此而丧命。正值青少年的我们，也要贡献自己的一份力量，即使微不足道。努力做到“不出门、不串门;不聚会、不扎堆;不信谣、不传谣;勤洗手、多通风;如有不适，科学就医;不恐慌，共克时艰!”苏珊.桑塔格在《疾病的隐喻》开篇部分就说了这么一段话:“疾病是生命的阴面，是一重更麻烦的公民身份，每个降临世间的人都拥有双重公民身份，其一属于健康王国，另一则属于疾病王国。尽管我们都只乐于使用健康王国的护照，但或迟或早，至少会有那么一段时间，我们每个人都被迫承认我们也是另一王国的公民。”桑塔格在这本书里想要提醒人们的就是:面对疾病时，不要去赋予过多的修辞和感情色彩，而是正视它。面对疫情同样如此，与其不着边际的恐慌，不如沉下心来看看这些真正有意义的数据，这才没有辜负那些日夜奋战在一线的人们用勇气和专业素质为我们换来的宝贵信息。正如《你的答案》这首歌中的歌词一样:“勇敢的向前走，黎明的那道光会越过黑暗，打破一切恐惧，我们能找到答案，哪怕要逆着光驱散黑暗，丢弃所有的负担，不再孤单”作为我们华夏子女，理应肩并着肩，心连着心，共同努力，度过这段“非常”的时期!武汉，加油!白衣天使，加油!中国，加油!隔绝疫情，但不隔离真情。只要科学防治、精准施策、坚定信心，每个人的防护意识和防护能力提升了，疫情这个魔鬼必将无处藏匿。

这个春节，注定会在不少中国人脑海中留下深刻的烙印。人影稀疏的大街、戴紧口罩步履匆匆的行人，以往热闹的拜年信息中多了不少叮嘱安全、注意防护的内容。

这个春节，不少海归没来得及跟家人好好吃顿团圆饭。他们中间，有的是“最美逆行者”、毫不犹豫开赴抗击新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情一线;有的公司业务与疫情防控相关，便开了一个又一个远程视频会议，发挥自身领域专长，尽力支援;而大多数海归，面对武汉以及其它地区发出的急需大量防护物资的紧急求援，充分利用自己的国内外资源，竭尽全力地联系并募集物资、善款，第一时间送往防疫一线。

一位留德海归告诉笔者，大年三十晚上，他与妻子忙着分头打电话，都是为了采购、筹集医疗防护物资。俩人一晚上也没说上几句话，直到春节联欢晚会0点报时的时候，才意识到新年已到，连口热乎乎的饺子还没来得及吃。

在这个本该千家万户共话团圆的日子，虽然少了面对面的祝福“过年好”，但亲情、友情、对同胞的关爱之情仍是实实在在地留在了大家心里。

面对肆虐的疫情，欧美同学会(中国留学人员联谊会)向海内外广大留学人员及留学人员工作者发出倡议，号召广大会员迅速行动起来，第一时间投身、支援疫情防控工作，以形成抗击疫情的合力。上海、浙江、福建、江苏、山东、安徽……各省分会也在积极作为，发动留学人员捐款捐物、为寻找急需的防护物资牵线搭桥。

一组组捐赠数字背后，是一颗颗火热的心。

“越是在国外待得久，就越发热爱生于斯长于斯的祖国。现在我已回来，当祖国需要我的时候，我的力量虽微薄，但独有一份温热。”这是一位年逾70的“老海归”给笔者的微信留言。得知他在疫情发生的第一时间就以个人名义向武汉捐赠钱款时，我曾想采访他，但先生婉拒，只给我发来了上面的微信留言。

在这场对抗疫情的战争里，这段动情的独白，是他，也是许许多多海归心中的话，令人肃然起敬。
