终于，我流泪了。那种抗议与报复的快感彻底消失。听着那一阵阵愤怒却无可奈何的敲门声，我真想起床把门打开。面子，又是碍于面子，我没有这么做。

第二天，等到妈妈出门后我才起床。爸爸说我昨晚太过分了，把妈妈给气哭了。我很内疚，也很后悔，可我始终没有向妈妈道歉。沉默，只要不首先打破沉默，我就仍然保留着珍贵的面子。我和妈妈“冷战”了好几天，最终是不了了之。

现在常想起这件事，想起自己那鲁莽的劲儿，想起妈妈的愤怒和无奈，我心中升起一阵

阵的难过与自责。假如当初我心平气和地告诉爸妈，说他们在客人面前暴露我的隐私让我难堪，那结果又会怎样呢？面子与赌气很相近。

我总是埋怨父母，总是有这样那样的想法，总是希望获得理解和宽容。但我却忽略了父母的感受，不知道父母也同样渴望理解和宽容。

读初中的时候，有一次我跟同学打篮球，玩得很尽兴，不知不觉忘记了回家的时间。当我跨进家门时，妈妈焦急地打着电话。她一看到我，便忍不住发起火来：“你看现在几点了，你还知道回家，害我一个个给你同学打电话！”听她这么一说，我反而冒起火来：“什么嘛，不就是晚回了一点吗，我又不是小孩子，用得着一个个给我同学打电话？这让我在同学面前多难堪！”

可理智终于浇灭了我们的火焰，妈妈主动投诚。她温情地告诉我，她这么做完全是因为担心我。我也乐得握手言和，我语气平和地向她解释晚归的原因。紧绷的神经顿时缓和下来，一场没有硝烟的战争戛然而止，我们俩的“面子”都在这场战争中幸存下来。

从那以后，我更加注重时间观念，妈妈也对我的偶尔晚归表示理解与包容。在不再紧张的气氛里，我发现了沟通的魅力，我爱上了与父母交流。
