grand festival among common people and its influence expanded from the Central

Plains to the whole of China.

Till today, the lantern festival is still held each year around the

country. Lanterns of various shapes and sizes are hung in the streets,

attracting countless visitors. Children will hold self-made or bought lanterns

to stroll with on the streets, extremely excited. "Guessing lantern riddles"is

an essential part of the Festival.

Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the

lanterns. If visitors have solutions to the riddles, they can pull the paper out

and go to the lantern owners to check their answer. If they are right, they will

get a little gift. The activity emerged during peoples enjoyment of lanterns in

the Song Dynasty (960-1279). As riddle guessing is interesting and full of

wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata.

People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also

called the "Yuanxiao Festival."Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. It is

small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean

paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling.

Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s

more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning

reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the

family.

In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern

dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and

beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent

lanterns, fireworks form a beautiful scene. Most families spare some fireworks

from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival. Some local

governments will even organize a fireworks party. On the night when the first

full moon enters the New Year, people become really intoxicated by the imposing

fireworks and bright moon in the sky.

记得上中学时，自己的成绩很不稳定，突上突下的。而且当然觉得自己考不上好的高中，所以在初三时，更是不好好学习。虽然史地的成绩很好，考题答案可以成为标准答案，但数理化这三门课，那成绩可以用惨不忍睹来形容。

记得那时，班主任经常和我说，你如果把数理化这三门课也像史地一样的学，那成绩一定就上去的。这时，我都是低着头，小声的回答：“恩。”其实我的心里在说：“史地我就没好好学过，只是看书的时候不知不觉就记下了。数理化这三门只是我一定发愤学的，可是成绩上不去，我也不知道怎么办，只能归结说，自己天生学这三门课的料。”

由于物理成绩不好，一直觉得物理老师不会记住我。但有一次，中学同学聚会，物理老师也在。吃完饭后，同学们都围着老师聊天，由于自己物理不好，所以物理老师我也是最后去聊天的。当我坐在他面前，对他说：“王老师，会不会记得我是谁呢?”他笑着说：“当然记得，你是。和中学时长得一样，只是胖一些而已。

”当时，我听到老师还记得我时，很感动，因为在上学时，很少和物理老师聊天的。我笑了，回答道：“王老师，谢谢你还记得我，我以为我物理学得不好，你不是记得我。”王老师摇着头说：“不会的，你们班，我对你的印象很深，因为你史地学得好，老师们在办公室聊天时，总会说起，但你的物理学得不好，是不是?当然也不是全不好，只是到复杂的计算时，你学得不好而已。现在呢，怎么样，物理好些了吗?”我摇头说：“依旧不好。所以我学的文科。

”之后，王老师又说了我很多在学校时的事，还说我是个认真努力的孩子。听了之后，有种想哭的感觉。因为，自己一直觉得在学习上，虽然我内心想努力去学，但是在行为上，我总是不当回事的去干，同学们有时会说我，你能不能认真的去做一个事。可是今天，多年不见的老师，说我是个认真努力的孩子，真是很感动。

聚会后，我没有留王老师的联系方法，因为我想，也许哪一天我再次见到他时，想“惊喜”的告诉他，我的物理成绩提高了，但依旧没有史地的成绩好……

满城的桂花开了，一阵阵芳香扑鼻而来，那一朵朵娇小的桂花瓣儿聚集起来，竟能散发出这么浓烈的香气。而每每嗅到这花香，我总想起那次秋季的运动会，也总会想起可敬可爱的老师——龚丽芳老师。 The osmanthus flowers in the city are blooming, and the aroma comes. 时间倒流到3年前的那场运动会，那次，我心血来潮，嚷嚷着要参加跑步比赛，可真正到了那一天，我由激动变成了紧张，甚至还有些害怕，这可是我第一次参加运动会的比赛啊!

比赛的那天到了，我的内心一直平静不下来，心里像有一只小兔子，砰砰地跳得很厉害，似乎下一秒就要跳出来了。怎么办?怎么办?参加这运动会，如果跑不好，同学们会不会嘲笑我?老师会不会小瞧我?想到这，我的胆子不知到哪里去了，腿不由自主地颤抖起来，天哪!平时自信的我到哪里去了?唉呀!早知道就不报名了!我努力地克制住发软的双腿，在草地上焦急地走来走去，为自己之前的冲动感到懊悔。

“孙嘉晨，马上就要到400米比赛了，你准备好了吗?”龚老师拿着表格向我走过来，说道。“嗯。”我轻声说道，可心里七上八下的，担心跑不好，让老师同学们......龚老师似乎看出了什么，只是对我微笑，并将陈茜同学的奖牌，挂在我的脖子上，笑着对我说：“来，我俩照一张相，希望你也能拿一块奖牌，预祝你成功，加油!”随着“喀嚓”一声，那一瞬间永远的定格在了我的记忆里，我永远都不会忘记——龚老师那和善的微笑、亲切的话语，还有那鼓励的目光!

感谢所有可敬可爱的老师!您用汗水和心血哺育了我们这些祖国的花朵;您用善良和纯朴教会了我们怎样做人;您用微笑和叮咛让我们看到了前行的方向……我相信，因为有了可敬可爱的老师，我们的未来将会更加精彩!

老师是一位辛勤的园丁，让我们茁壮成长;老师是一根蜡烛，燃烧自己照亮别人。我最敬爱的老师是我的古筝老师——焦老师。

焦老师有一头黑的长发，大大的眼睛，高高的鼻梁，尤其是那双纤纤玉手弹出的音乐如天籁般美妙，那好听的音乐可以绕梁三日。

焦老师很严厉。有一次，我和一个同学上古筝课，我弹错了一个音，焦老师让我们停下来，对我说：“你有一个一弹错了，把它重新弹一遍。”我又弹了一遍，焦老师说：“不行，不行，你这一遍没有强弱变化。”焦老师让我又弹了一遍。这一遍的曲子弹完后，老师的眉头舒展开来，对我笑着说：“这一遍弹得很好，你一定要在家里多练习，不然弹出的曲子错肓很多，会被别人笑话的。”我点了点头在心里想：我在家里一定要好好练琴，不能在有错音出现了。

还有一次，焦老师提了一个问题让我们回答，我和那位同时想了半天也没有想出来，这把求助的目光投向焦老师，可是焦老师说：“仔细再想想。”我们都摇摇头，焦老师不高兴的说：“想不出来就不上课。”后来，我想出了一个答案，但又不确定。这时，焦老师发现了我的异常，别猜到我想到了答案，于是把鼓励的目光投向了我。我小声地说出来，老师很高兴：“对，就是这样，你们以后要认真思考我的题目，我会经常提问哦。”

焦老师弹出的古筝特别美妙动听。那一次，我们上完了古筝课，焦老师那天很开心，对我们说：“我给你们弹一遍《丰收锣鼓》。”老师开始弹奏了，那气势澎湃的曲子让我们好像看见了锣鼓喧天的场面。曲子弹完后，我们都情不自禁地拍手叫好。

这就是我最敬爱的古筝老师。
