The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. And during my winter vacation, we welcome the most important festival in

China—Spring Festival, it’s also called Chinese New Year by lots of

foreigners.

At that night, our family came together and had a big meal. Of course we

had dumplings that night, because that is our Chinese traditional. We then watch

the CCTV spring festival evening party together and watch the beautiful

fireworks. That’s the happiest time in this world! The winter vacation I had

dreamed all year around was finally coming. And I really enjoyed a lot from

it.

The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

Secondly, I took some extracurricular activities and read some English original

reading. My favorite book is , written by Sherlock Holmes. Among all the

classical movies, the Sound of Music was the most exciting one. During my

holidays I also made some assistance for my physical class teacher, surely I met

lots of difficulties in this stage and from which I knew what perseverance

really was. Lastly, I went to the temple fair and was lucky to taste several

Chinese traditional dishes; “Jiaohua chicken” is one of them. It is said it

originated from Hangzhou centuries ago, made by a famous beggar Hong Qi Gong,

the senior leader of Beggar Gang.Steamed with fresh lotus leaf wrapped up,it is

famous for its special aroma and taste. Now that the holiday is ending and a new

semester is coming, I need to fresh up and get started to embrace the upcoming

challenges.

一次新的体验 A new experience

Yesterday I did commonweal in library to earn my public service

scores(which is similar to the compulsory credits).I arrived library at 8’clock

in the morning,a librarian let me to wipe the mirror in every toilet from one to

six floor.Then I started to wipe the mirrors.It was been two hours after I

finished all work.I was very tired,but looking at the shiny and clean mirrors I

had wiped, I felt very happy.To be honest,I had never done the things like it at

home,so it was a new experience to me,and it make me realize the hard work of my

parent.

春节大扫除

Tomorrow is New Years Day, my family have had a completely cleaning for

two days. Then my father and I decorated our flat and my mother cooked delicious

food for our meal. After supper we watched TV program. How happy we were!

明天是春节，我家里以近在两天前做了彻底的大扫除。然后我和爸爸一起装饰家里，妈妈则在烧好吃的东西。晚饭以后，我们一起看电视节目，我们多高兴呀!

耽误大家十五分钟的复习时间，我已经过意不去了，老师如果训我一顿，我心里会好受一些。老师让一个人上来领读，就关上门。我们围坐在老师身边，老师告诉我们怎样记诗人的名字。如：陈子昂，而我们班有个叫金奇昂的，只要记住金奇昂就可以了。

我们几个人一起哈哈大笑起来。里面的同学莫名其妙，不知道我们在笑什么，几个坐得离窗口近的同学也跟着嘿嘿傻笑起来。第四节课，别的同学都在看电视，老师叫我们先吃饭，吃完饭接着复习。中午十二点三十分到下午一点三十分为考试时间。考试时，我非常紧张，我的头，我的手心上全是汗。

我的手不停地颤抖着。写到“临行密密缝，意恐迟迟归”时，我忘记“迟迟”两个字怎么写了。越紧张，头上的汗就越多。那时正值深秋，室外寒气逼人，室内好不了多少。但是我的手热得像暖炉，虽然不能煮鸡蛋，但暖人总可以了。算了，先做下面的吧!但是，直至下课，我都没有想出“迟迟”两个字怎么写，我觉得我愧对老师。但结果出来了，我的实际成绩为八十三点五，附加分为十分，总分九十三点五。我们班的同学都取得了较好的成绩。

从那以后，我的古诗文成绩，如果不计附加分，从来没有一次低于九十分。

老师，谢谢你!再一次谢谢你!

On Christmas night, my mother took me to the street. I saw the streets and the sea of people. The goods in the shops, a superb collection of beautiful things beyond count, and high quality and inexpensive, people are busy purchasing the goods. At a small ornament shop, my mother bought me a Christmas hat for me as a Christmas gift.

I happily wear Christmas hat, continue to walk in the street, in a photo in front of my mother and I saw Mitch and Minnie respectively on both sides of the station in the door, put a different posture, to attract customers. The door also posted a variety of high-profile Santa avatar, infinite changes, children in different poses and with different expressions, the eyes are often attracted to the front of the scene, standing there all eyes looked for a moment to go with mom and dad. During those days. I enjoyed myself. At first, I went to the zoo to see lovely animals. And then. I went to the sea world to see beautiful fishes. That was very interesting.

Secondly I went for a trip with my parents, we went to Linxia to visit my grandparents and to eat minority’s foods. We rode horse on the grassland and had a fun with local children. It was very exciting. After that, I held a party and invited some of my best friends to visit my house.

My mother bought a lot of tasty foods for us, we also took many photos on the party. We played very happy. I also watched lots of carton films at home, they were wonderful.

I like the holiday. I like my May Day.

Our English teacher, Ms Huang, came to our school in 1980. She has been an English teacher for more than 30 years. She works hard and has been a model teacher for many years.

She is kind and friendly to us after class, but She is rather strict with us in class. She always encourages us to speak and read more English. She often says,"Practice makes perfect." She is good at teaching and tries her best to make every lesson lively and interesting. She often gives us slide shows, teaches us English songs and helps us to put on short English plays. She is not only our teacher but also our friend. We all respect and love her.

Tomorrow she is going to attend an important meeting, at which she will be given a medal for her advanced deeds.

黄老师是我们的英语老师，她1980年来到我们学校，已经当了30多年的英语老师。她工作努力，多年来一直是模范教师。

课下，她对我们很友善，但课堂上却对我们要求很严。她经常带鼓励我们多说多读英语，常常说“熟能生巧”。她教得很好而且尽可能使每节课都上得生动有趣。她常给我们放幻灯片，教我们唱英语歌曲，还帮助我们排演英语小话剧。她不仅是我们的老师，同时又是我们的朋友，我们都尊敬和爱戴她。

明天，她将出席一个重要会议，在会上她的先进事迹将受到表彰。
