伊拉克赛艇选手。今年25岁的努扎德和32岁的杰布尔是巴格达一所体育大学的学生，在饱受战火蹂躏的伊拉克，他们为备战北京奥运会付出了巨大努力。由于伊拉克政府解散了该国的奥委会，国际奥委会一度取消伊拉克的北京奥运会参赛资格，后在国际赛艇联合会的努力之下，两名伊拉克赛艇选手终于来到了奥运会赛场。

“谁能保证活到2012年呢？”努扎德和杰布尔说，“能活下来就是幸运的。”
