I went to visit the Great Wall with my friends during the summer vacation.

We went there by bus. It took us about two hours to get there. It was hot and

windy that day. There were thousands of people. When we saw a group of

foreigners,we went up and talked with them. We told them lots of history of the

Great Wall. They were very surprised when they saw that our English were

exellent and we knew a lot about the Great Walls history. They thanked us a lot

and we really had a good time. We felt proud of ourselves and being Chinese.

反观现在的我们：每天放学迟迟不肯回家，作业多少不在乎，先玩了再说，把时间看作了一团废铁；在班上，同学们搞小团体，对自己小团体的人好的或不该做的一把抓，对别人无论如何都视而不见，这就是他们所谓的“助人为乐”；在家里，无论是双胞胎还是独生子，都过着“看了不顺眼就扔掉，吃了不快就吐，玩具不如意就闹，衣服穿着不漂亮就要重买的生活。也许是体会不到人生的短暂，人缘的珍贵，血汗钱的辛苦吧！

俗话说”一个人做点好事并不难，难的是一辈子做好事。“有人会说”我们都有学习的任务，没有时间做好事。“那雷锋呢？他为什么有那么多的时间来做这些事呢？其实，不要找借口，只要你想做，事情再多也可以抽时间来，这与你疯狂喜欢玩电脑游戏的心境也是一样的，这就是雷锋的”钉子精神！“通过参观，我的心灵受到了强烈震撼，这是一个多么光彩的灵魂，这是一个多么无私的生命。虽然我们所处的时代不同，但是雷锋精神应该是一个永远不可泯灭的历史丰碑，需要一代一代的中国人传承并发扬！

I went to visit one of our teachers with some of my classmates this

morning. Miss Jones is our English teacher and she likes all the classmates. She

tried so hard to help us to improve our English. We went to her flat and had
