读研的时候，选择了更为偏远的广西。南宁可能在很多人的眼中地处蛮荒，应该是大多数人一想起来会联想起“落后”、“贫困”、“乱”这样一类字眼的城市，但是，两年的生活告诉我，她完全出乎了我的意料。

单拿我们学校来说吧，我们的校园主干道上栽满了芒果树，别看我们吃的芒果个儿挺大，但是它的花特别小，类似桂花那般。每年四五月份芒果花开的时候，一到暴雨来临之季，它们便会毫不留情地被吹打到地上，黛青色的柏油马路便会铺上密密匝匝的芒果花和枝叶。同样的，没过多久，就会发现地上一尘不染、片叶不沾。

我时常回忆起自己的大学生活。那时上晚自习，去晚了教室或是图书馆是占不到座位的;两三万人四个食堂一起用餐，中午打饭排队是能够排到食堂门口的，用完餐之后桌子上一般是不会出现一片狼藉的现象的;平时上课，老师到了之后很少再出现大批量迟到的同学的;即使不听讲，玩手机、讲话之类的情况也是极其少数的。

我告诉我的学生，也许很多习惯性的事情你可能一时还做不到，但是请你努力。但是有一点：我不能要求你们一定要喜欢一个老师的授课内容或者讲课方式(这一点很多名师大师也做不到)，但是请你给予你的老师最起码的尊重，迟到、早退、玩手机、旷课之类的事情，请你尽量克制。如果你对于给你传授知识的人都不尊敬，那么你将永远难以学会去尊敬一个人。

Each person is like a small part of a machine. If only one part is out of order, the machine can’t be running well. Besides, transportation and communication systems are rapidly developing and people all over the world can get in touch with each other more easily.
