本科时，我的母校位于江西首府南昌，每次台风过境，这个被地势包围的城市总会或多或少受到点影响：校园里遍地的树叶，图书楼前没过膝盖的雨水，被连根拔起的三米多高的树……但是雨过天青，至多半天时间，你会发现校园里一切留存的不合时宜的杂物都会被处理得妥妥当当。

读研的时候，选择了更为偏远的广西。南宁可能在很多人的眼中地处蛮荒，应该是大多数人一想起来会联想起“落后”、“贫困”、“乱”这样一类字眼的城市，但是，两年的生活告诉我，她完全出乎了我的意料。

单拿我们学校来说吧，我们的校园主干道上栽满了芒果树，别看我们吃的芒果个儿挺大，但是它的花特别小，类似桂花那般。每年四五月份芒果花开的时候，一到暴雨来临之季，它们便会毫不留情地被吹打到地上，黛青色的柏油马路便会铺上密密匝匝的芒果花和枝叶。同样的，没过多久，就会发现地上一尘不染、片叶不沾。

在这样的环境里，你会发现扔一小片纸，内心都会充满了罪恶感。以至于我到现在养成的习惯都是但凡手上有垃圾，如果找不到垃圾桶，就会放到包里、拿在手上，直至找到能够扔垃圾的地方。

过完一个暑假之后，校园主干道上出现了鳞次栉比的垃圾桶(说实话，我去过的大学校园也不少，还没有见过哪个校园里垃圾桶安置得如此密集)，每周固定的值周班，环境好了很多;上课期间，不断在教室外面巡视查到课率的学生会干部，旷课迟到好了很多(但无形中却给干部们提供了许多不上课的借口);都是些治标不治本的办法。所以，仍然还有许多考验着我们大学生修养的问题存在。

我时常回忆起自己的大学生活。那时上晚自习，去晚了教室或是图书馆是占不到座位的;两三万人四个食堂一起用餐，中午打饭排队是能够排到食堂门口的，用完餐之后桌子上一般是不会出现一片狼藉的现象的;平时上课，老师到了之后很少再出现大批量迟到的同学的;即使不听讲，玩手机、讲话之类的情况也是极其少数的。

我告诉我的学生，也许很多习惯性的事情你可能一时还做不到，但是请你努力。但是有一点：我不能要求你们一定要喜欢一个老师的授课内容或者讲课方式(这一点很多名师大师也做不到)，但是请你给予你的老师最起码的尊重，迟到、早退、玩手机、旷课之类的事情，请你尽量克制。如果你对于给你传授知识的人都不尊敬，那么你将永远难以学会去尊敬一个人。
