About ten years ago when I was an undergraduate in college， I was working as an intern at my Universitys Museum of Natural History. One day while working at the cash register in the gift shop， I saw an elderly couple come in with a little girl in a wheelchair.

As I looked closer at this girl， I saw that she was kind of perched on her chair. I then realized she had no arms or legs， just a head， neck and torso. She was wearing a little white dress with red polka dots.

As the couple wheeled her up to me I was looking down at the register. I turned my head toward the girl and gave her a wink. As I took the money from her grandparents， I looked back at the girl， who was giving me the cutest， largest smile I have ever seen.

All of a sudden her handicap was gone and all I saw was this beautiful girl， whose smile just melted me and almost instantly gave me a completely new sense of what life is all about. She took me from a poor， unhappy college student and brought me into her world; a world of smiles， love and warmth.

That was ten years ago. Im a successful business person now and whenever I get down and think about the troubles of the world， I think about that little girl and the remarkable lesson about life that she taught me.

Fame is very much like an animal chasing its own tail who， when he captures it， does not know what else to do but to continue chasing it. Fame and the delighting popularity that accompanies it， force the famous person to participate in his or her own destruction.

Those who gain fame most often gain it as a result of possessing a single talent or skill: singing， dancing， painting， or writing， etc. The successful performer develops a style that is marketed aggressively and gains some popularity. And it is this popularity that usually convinces the performer to continue performing in the same style， since that is what the public seems to want and to enjoy. But in time， the performer becomes bored singing the same songs in the same way year after year， or the painter becomes bored painting similar scenes or portraits， or the actor is tired of playing the same character repeatedly. The demand of the public holds the artist hostage to his or her own success， fame. If the artist attempts to change his or her style of writing or dancing or singing， etc.the audience may turn away and look to confer changeable fame which is passing quickly on another.

I believe that fame and celebrity， influence and power，success and failure， reality and illusion are all somehow neatly woven into a seamless fabric we laughingly call reality. I say to those who desperately seek fame and fortune， celebrity:good luck. But what will you do when you have caught your tail， your success， and your fame? Keep chasing it? If you do catch it， hang on for dear life because falling is not as painful as landing. See you soon famous and almost famous.

文章主要讲述了一位残疾的击剑运动员金晶的事迹。在她9岁的时候因患恶性肿瘤而被锯掉了右腿，她的爸爸妈妈知道后大哭了一场。但事发后，金晶不仅不哭，而且选择用微笑点亮自己生命的希望之光。在08年奥运会的法国巴黎站奥运火炬接力活动中，在“*”分子的袭击面前，金晶又用自己只有一条腿的柔弱之躯牢牢地护住了祥云火炬……

面对暴徒袭击，面对命运的挑战，金晶用自己的行动交上了完美的答卷，给我们树立了榜样。金晶用羸弱的身躯捍卫了祖国的尊严，她让我们知道，个人强，国家才强，民族才有希望。她周身透露出自强不息的精神，她的自强、自信、自尊，让厄运和暴徒败下阵来，同时也深深打动了我的心。我被她的这种自信震撼了!

回想我以前对自己总是没有自信，觉得自己很差。比如说跑步吧，那次，我在操场散步，遇到了几个陌生的男孩子，他们想跟我比赛跑步。那几个男孩子信心满满，让我不禁怀疑自己的能力，再加上我这个人很爱面子，要是我输了，男孩们会嘲笑我的。这让我胆怯起来，想后退、想逃避。就在这时，爸爸来找我了，我冲向了爸爸的怀中，向他说明了整件事的起因，爸爸说：“盈盈，你应该鼓起勇气，应该相信自己，去吧，跟他们比赛也没什么大不了的，说不定你还能赢呢!”我仔细想了想，还真是这样，于是上前了一步，做还了跑步的准备。发令员一说“跑!”我就像离弦之箭一样冲了出去，一会儿就到了终点。我看见*人都在我后面，我高兴喊了起来：“我是第一名!”

从那以后，每当我遇到困难想退缩时，就想起这件事，它让我不再怀疑自己的能力，自信地面对生活!

天空恢复了昨日的湛蓝，却不见了昨日的安然。呼见小鸟惊飞树梢，繁华零落。我感悟着这一切的圣洁，感悟大自然神圣的真谛，体验成长的艰辛与美好。

梦到枝头，点亮粉色的世界，感悟春的妩媚。桃花在这时绽放，如沙般盖满山间，流露出娇艳，迷醉，更有一丝淡淡的羞气藏于山谷，点染了山谷，尽显粉红艳姿。星星点点的金迎春缀于山间，给山地弥补了最后一丝遗憾。没有高傲山头，没有低落山谷，隐藏其间，星星点点。我感悟世界这时的娇艳，我体验生灵这时的充满生机，迈向新的阳光。体验这一次新的开始，心中不免也种下了几颗理想的种子。等待着发芽的梦想。

有一次，那是炎热的夏天，我与爸爸去羽毛球场上打球，那是在中午的四点钟。打着打着，那是我在左看右看，当我装瞬即逝的时候，有一个像飞车一样的速度的球，突然间向我这边飞来，原来，是我爸爸的杀球，我就一个飞扑过去接，可是很遗憾我没有接住，而我的手被扭伤了，那是我感到非常的疼，我的手好像失去知觉了，我心想：“我的手会不会断掉呢”。想着想，我感到很可怜，我忍不住大哭起来。

在那一刻，爸爸迎面走来。爸爸穿着短衣短裤，拿着球拍，好像一名运动员似的。爸爸用温柔的语气对我说：“怎么了？”我用悲惨的语气说：“我的手扭伤了，非常的疼”。当我快要哭的时候，爸爸突然间给了我一个充满力量的微笑。爸爸笑的时候嘴角上扬，露出洁白的牙齿，温柔的眼睛如月亮一样弯，脸上挂着两个大大的酒窝。我看到这个微笑，我好像浑身充满了力量，身体不知道吃了什么神仙药物好像我的手不疼了。爸爸坐在地上，边轻轻抚摸着我的手，边帮我检查的时候，开玩笑的对我说：“没事，断不了，你就放心吧。”

听了这话我的心才安定下来。我看着爸爸充满力量的微笑，我心里没有那么难过、伤心。我的心情也阴天变晴天了。过了一会儿，好了一些以后，爸爸就扶我回家。对我来说，微笑的力量是强大的，没有人穷到给不出一个微笑。一个微笑，仅有几秒，就装瞬即逝；留下的回忆，终身美好。

“笑一笑，十年少”这句名言，我很小就知道。可是我不怎么喜欢笑。

每天清晨，我都会站在镜子前照照，唉！今天衣服穿得也不漂亮；唉！今天头发梳的不好看；唉！看起来今天好像没有精神……

这一段时间来，总是觉得烦，心情很糟，做什么事情都觉得没劲。

今天去补英语课，我一走进教室，一个男生说：“小胖胖来了。”本来心情就不好，现在更糟糕，害的我上课老是分神，老师讲的什么内容，我都记不清了。

回到家里，老师布置的作业是什么，我也不知道，趴在桌子上，着急的要哭了。

妈妈轻轻的走了过来，拍了拍我说：“怎么了啊！这段时间为什么老是不高兴啊？”对啊，我怎么了啊，我也不知道。

我站在镜子前，看着自己，一张没有生机的苦瓜脸，不好看。对啊：微笑我缺少的不就是微笑吗？我对着镜子给自己一个微笑，镜子的我活力四射，脸上就像一朵怒放的鲜花，心情也像春天的阳光一样晴朗。抬头，原来微笑的感觉是那么的好，那么的美。

离开镜子我觉得浑身轻松多了。我对妈妈说：“妈妈，我要天天开开心心的。”妈妈微笑着说：“这就对了，小宝贝”

吃了晚饭以后，我和妈妈一起出去散步，碰见了愁眉不展的娴娴。我笑嘻嘻地走过去对娴娴说：“咦？今天谁惹我们的大小姐生气了啊？要不我帮你去揍他一顿。“就是我弟弟在欺负我。”娴娴气愤的地回答着。

“不管他的，笑一个就没事了。你看你眉毛都“跑”到一起去了，小美女变成丑八怪了。”我把娴娴逗笑了。

微笑的力量是那么的大。微笑是阳光，给人们温暖；微笑是赞赏，让你充满自信！

微笑是无声的亲切的语言;微笑是无声的动人的音乐;微笑是无声的高尚的表情。一个动人的微笑使你我快乐，一个动人的微笑使你我感到温暖，一个不平凡的微笑可以改变一个人的人生观。对我来说，那次微笑使我认识到怎样做人、怎样处事。

记得那是在我上初二的时候，我们班有一个女生很怪，她从来不笑，不与同学们说话谈心，但她的成绩很好，巧的是我们还是同路回家，但她从来不与我一起走，也不与我说话，对此我对她没有好感，总认为她是一种很怪又自作清高的人。然而有一件事，让我改变了对她的看法，难以想象的是我居然有点敬佩她、喜欢她。那是一个冬天的放学路上，她走在后面，我走在前面，仍如以往，我们互不搭理。这时突然有一个骑自行车的老大爷，车后拉着许多橘子，从我身前飞过，不巧被一个东西绊了一下，从车上摔了下来，车上的橘子全部撒在地上。我看见了，连忙跑过去帮他捡，这时她也跟了上来，我们一起帮老大爷捡完了橘子，水沟里也掉了一部分，我本想下去捡，可水太冷了，就改变了主意。这时，出人意料的是她二话没说，挽起袖子，跳下水沟捡橘子。我惊呆了，此时她居然向我露出了她那久违的微笑。这一笑给了我莫大的鼓舞和力量，我也挽起袖子，跳下水沟去捡橘子。之后我们做了一对很好的朋友。

从此我坚信：微笑永远是生活里最明亮的阳光，微笑的力量是无穷的!

微笑是一种普普通通的面部表情，它很吸引人，全世界的人或物在开心的时候都会用到它。

在我以前的印象中，微笑就像是奸笑一样，没有给我留下什么很好的印象。可现在，随着年龄的增长和知识的丰富，我渐渐发觉，微笑是点亮我困难之路的明灯。老师的微笑，同学们的微笑，爸爸的微笑，妈妈的微笑……还有许多许多，这些微笑都给了我内心的温暖和前行的力量。

有一次考试，我发现有道题不会做，我看了看别人认真答题的样子，心里很着急。时间不多了，还剩5分钟，我告诉自己一定要做完。可是想了老半天，就是想不出解答的方法。就在我绞尽脑汁却一无所获时，脑海里浮现出了爸爸微笑的面容，仿佛在对我说：“加油，别着急。耐下心来思考，肯定有办法。”我长吁了一口气，仔细审题，很快便找到了关键点，这道难题就这样被我攻破了。

过了几天，试卷发下来，我获得了不错的名次。我开心极了，这是爸爸的微笑给了我力量。

还有一次，上课期间，我突然感觉肚子在剧烈地抖动。刹那间，头也变得很晕，一下子就在众人面前呕吐了。老师得知情况后，立马赶到教室，叫了几个同学将呕吐物清理了出去，之后又带我去洗手间漱口。她微笑着对我说：“不要害怕，以前我身体不舒服的时候也呕吐过，休息一会儿喝点水，缓缓就没事了，别担心。”老师安慰的话语和温柔的微笑让我内心好温暖，谢谢您。

爸爸的微笑给了我力量，老师的微笑给了我精神慰藉。我希望大家都能拥有微笑，并将微笑传递下去。
