小狗不仅长得漂亮，而且非常聪明。有一天，爸爸走上楼，小狗听见了爸爸嗒嗒嗒的脚步声，猛的睁开眼睛，一下子站了起来。爸爸刚把门打开，小狗便撒开四腿，嗒嗒嗒飞快地奔向爸爸，不停的摇着尾巴，眨着乌黑的大眼睛。爸爸跺了几下脚，小狗很快地明白了爸爸的意思。小狗吗上转身，迅速地往鞋柜跑去，一口咬住了爸爸的棕色的拖鞋，用牙齿紧紧地叼着鞋子飞快地奔向爸爸面前，把拖鞋放了下来，又立刻转身跑向鞋柜，叼起另一只拖鞋向爸爸跑去，放在爸爸的面前。可是一只拖鞋歪了，另一只反了。小狗可聪明啦，咬着拖鞋猛地把它反了一个身，并摆摆正，另一只拖鞋被小狗转了个身，不一会儿拖鞋就被摆的整整齐齐。爸爸把脚上的皮鞋脱了下来，穿上小狗送来的鞋子。它高兴的又蹦又跳，一下子扑到了爸爸的怀中，爸爸轻轻地抱着它，它高兴地摇起了尾巴，不一会儿，它便在爸爸的怀中慢慢地睡着了。
