当清晨的第一缕阳光透过层层叠叠的树叶，照射到我时，栖息在我身上的鸟儿们就被唤醒了。它们高兴地扑打着翅膀，在我们之间忙碌地奔走、觅食。早晨的空气总是那么好，我贪婪地吮吸着阳光的气息，奋力地向太阳伸展出我的枝杈。仰起脸，让阳光洒在我的脸上，幸福地淋浴着那片金黄。夜晚，归鸟安详的打鼾声与澄澈的月光共同哄我进入梦乡。

宁静的日子总是短暂的，就像鸟儿长了翅膀就要飞去。当电锯的嗓音一次又一次地扰乱我们平静的生活，当身旁的亲人一个个倒下时，我惶恐了，向四周望去，尽是一片无奈的悲凉与荒芜。我不禁失声痛哭，这儿还是我的家吗？一滴泪水滚落在脚边，竟是与天空一样的浑浊。

这棵树至少有上百年了，一定能卖个好价钱！两个人指着我，边说边用手比划着。我伤感：人类因为森林而幸福，而森林却因人类的贪婪而灭亡。

我害怕听见那电锯工作时的声音，因为紧接着的是一棵大树的倒下。我们栖息的家园，自由、幸福的天堂正在一天天的沦陷为地狱。没有大树舒展的枝丫，没有嫩绿的树叶，我就没有了游戏的乐园。向上看去，再也不是重重叠叠的绿叶，我只看见灰色的天，灰的云彩，灰的世界。那浑浊的空气已侵入我的肺部，卡住了我的喉咙，我再不能欢快地歌唱。那片天空，那曾令我翱翔的天空，已不能让我自由飞翔。

噢，不可恶的人类，用黑色的枪口对准了我，哎！被人吃了又怎样，在浑浊的空气中不停地挣扎又怎样？没有家，没有亲人，除了死，我还能怎样？

My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is

rich in fish and rice.

But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. Many people had

no work. They lived a hard life.

In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken

place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals,

cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is

greatly improved.

I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard

so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.
