And the food for lantern festival is Tang Yuan i have made some Tang Yuan in a ginger soup my wife got a serious cold so i cooked a pot of ginger soup for her. My school is in the east end of the city. It takes me half an hour to get to school on foot. I usually ride a bike to school.

There are over one hundred and fifty teachers and about two thousand students in our school. We have two classroom buildings.The office building is three storeys high. On weekdays our teachers often take us to the laboratories to do experiments. Sometimes we have English lesson in the language lab. We have a very large playground.

After school we take part in various activities, such as ball games, painting, singing and dancing. I like to play football with my classmates.

Mid-autumn day Mid-autumn day is a special festival in China, which is one of the traditional Chinese festivals. Itfalls on the 15th day of august lunar month every year. Our Chinese will celebrate it on that day. I think there are not too many people can reject he temptation of it. I like this festival very much. I have two reasons.

First of all, mid-autumn has the deep meaning of reunite. Chinese food is colorful, varied, delicious, and nutritious. Chinese people

cares not only about the taste of the food, but also about its color and smell.

Food in different places has different flavors. Beijing food is quite oily and

salty; Shanghai food is sweet and light; Sichuan food is spicy and hot; and

Cantonese food is fresh and tender. Whats more, there are some popular local

今天就是英语外研比赛的日子了，我被安排在下午2.30那场，老妈的单位离考场比较近，上午我便跟她去单位值班。

我在老妈的办公室里，一直都在背稿，时间过得很快，稿纸在我的手中不停地抖动，说好的不紧张呢?

简单吃了点饭，老妈看我这副状态，她提议说，咱们提前溜达着去吧，就当散散步。

午后的街道有些冷清，看到不错的景致，老妈竟不忘给我拍张照片啥的，她可真有兴致。不觉中就来到了“宝睿国际未来小学”门口，我们是下午考生中来得最早的。

等了好久一些家长才陪着孩子到来，有接待老师把我们安排在家长等候区，并给选手们讲了些注意事项，接着老师又读了考场名单，我被安排在第三考场。

这是初赛，演讲的内容是自我介绍加才艺表演。我看到有的选手准备得真棒!不光自己化了淡妆，还梳了很复杂很漂亮的辫子，有的还穿了美丽的裙子。有不少同学手里拿了画板，上面是他们精心绘制的图画，他们边指着自己的画边小声念着英语，看来他们的才艺表演一定是用英语介绍自己的画了。而我的才艺显得多么的微不足道，我只打算读一首英文小诗。

上午考完的同学在群里发来信息，他们说很简单，评委主要看你的口语能力，觉得背不好的，也可以直接读，我终于有了一些安心。

马上就轮到我了，听到老师念我名字，稿子在我手中抖的更厉害了。原来考场里只有三位评委老师，但其中有一位外国人。我的心开始咚咚跳个不停，手心也开始冒汗。我刚说一句“Hello everyone.”，三位评委老师便微笑着向我点头示意。他们这一微笑，我反而不自在的很，我僵硬的站在他们面前，机械地象在用英文诵经一般，我甚至听到自己的声音就象一只大苍蝇在我周围嗡嗡着飞，它飞飞停停，停停飞飞，可恶极了。我发现三位评委老师都在低着头，记录着什么，也不知他们听清了这“嗡嗡”声没有。自我介绍环节很快就完了，我看没人看我，便拿出稿子，直接读那首“四季”的小诗。依然没人看我，平时读得一点问题都没有，此时竟卡了好几下，自己都觉得糟糕透顶。

三分钟终于结束了，我向三位评委鞠了躬说了“thank you”之后，心情才平静下来。
