My life in the University of Education

How time flies! It has been about two years since I came to the University of Education. Every coin has two sides. On the one hand, I am quite satisfied with my university life. On the other hand, life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected.

University is not only a place where you can learn something useful from textbooks, but also a place where you can improve your ability to communicate with others.

During the year university study, I can not only acquire a lot of book learning, but also foster various abilities. All types of extracurricular activities such as sports meets, speech contests, different social gatherings and traveling provide opportunities to make friends, many of these friendships may last a long time. I like talking and playing with others, so I own many friends. Sometimes I feel lonely, angry and also homesick. But fortunately I own these good friends. They helped me spend these sad days. I find words cannot express my sincere thanks to them. But I know when they need help; I will do everything that I can do to help those who helped me before.

I like going to the library where you can find these words on the wall: "Knowledge is power." and "Keep silence!" after class every day. Because I know that we must learn every day. I think the life in university of Education is full of freedom, but I never waste time. Life is not easy

for everybody, especially for those who hopes to lead a happy life”, a famous lady once said. That is to say, you have to try your best to learn and to pass exams in order to make your life become better and better with time going on. So I never give up learning even go to the college.

Sometimes I also want to own more free time to do my own things. But we have too many classes. So I think life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected. The teaching method is boring; instead of lecturing, some teachers just "read" lessons. I hate it. I want to more free time in class.

During the time I spend at the University of Education, I not only develops my intellectual abilities, I also develop social skills as well as knowledge and wisdom necessary for choosing a future career.

In short, we should value our life in the University of Education. Although there are many things lacking, the four years in the university is a worthwhile period in our whole lifetime.

At the end of the summer vacation, I cant help feeling excited and curious. How many times I have dreamed that my university life will be meaningful and beautiful.

At the beginning of university life, I think study and exercise are the most important thing. So I must improve my spoken English and written ability. Besides, I will make more friends and participate in other activities. Fortunately, I took part in two departments successfully. What a happy new for me! In my opinion, importantly, these departments can promote my comprehension and communication ability. At the same time, I will get many chances to exercise in new school life. It will make my life become more and more colorful.

After I entered the new university for two months, I adapt the new environment and meet many classmates and teachers. I feel happy when I made friends with them who can bring me more happiness and challenging.

There are many different aspects between high school and university. Firstly, I think independence is an ability for oneself in the university, but it is not in the high school. You must do everything by yourself. Secondly,we will have a lot of spare time,and we can do many things in this time. For example,we can read in our school library,we can play basketball or football in the stadium, we can have a rest in your dormitory and so on. Thirdly, you will have many activities and you can participate in it. At the same time,you have many chances to exercise your ability,study how can we do it better and promote our team spirit. Compared with high school life, I think my university life will be better and more interesting than high school.

杨老师是我们班的英语老师，从三年级开始学英语，她就教我们了。她一个人教好几个班，很辛苦，但每次见到她，她的脸上总带着微笑，给人一种和蔼可亲的感觉。杨老师英语说得流利，上课气氛活跃 ，批改作业又对又快，我们都很喜欢她。

还有一次，周三下午放学后，因我的《评价手册》没写完，被杨老师叫到了办公室，我找了一个位置坐下来继续写，杨老师在一旁批改作业，办公桌上堆了满满高高的作业本，我不禁赞叹，杨老师的工 作量可真大呀！于是我更加认真地写起来，不想给她添麻烦。当我把本子交上去，还有一题不小心写错了，杨老师就耐心、仔细地给我讲解，一会儿我就全懂了。

杨老师就是这样一位认真、仔细、耐心而和蔼的老师，我真敬佩她！

对我初中生涯影响很大的老师就是阎丽老师，她的姓很恐怖，她总是自称自己是阎罗王，要管住我们这群小鬼。

她是个很美的老师，有一种古典美女的气质。记得我刚进安外的时候，第一次离开家去外面读书，刚开学军训的时候，阎老师总是对我慈爱的微笑，她总是担心我们这群孩子军训累了，热了，时常跟着我们军训的列队，教官下命令休息时，我一个孤零零地坐在草地上，阎老师和教官聊天，然后我听到他们的交谈，阎老师对教官说我很像她之前认识的一个孩子，然后就朝我笑笑，当时心里说不出的暖，也许阎老师不曾记得，但我至今难忘。

因为我的小学不学英语，所以我的英语底子不好，进入安外有点跟不上，阎老师就放弃中午休息的时间给我补习，从最基础的教起，不耐烦的一遍又一遍，我清晰的记得当时办公室里就是我和阎老师，她就坐在我身边教我，当我一个知识点了解的时候，她就满足的笑笑，然后摸摸我的脑袋，那种近似母爱的感情让我至今心里充满温暖。

当然，阎老师凶的时候还真的很可怕（阎老师，得罪啦，呵呵）记得那时我和一个男生和另外两个一个女生负责早上扫楼梯，我和另外一个男生刘涛总是早早过来打扫，等到女生来的时候我们都已经打扫好了。我们心里很不平衡，所以，有一天早上我和刘涛都没扫，等女生扫，最后女生以为我们已经扫好了，也没有打扫。最后，阎老师发现楼梯很脏，就让我们值日生出去扫地，两个女生和刘涛都出去扫地了，就是我坐在座位上读书，因为我平时做的最多，心里很不平衡，所以有点火大就没去。阎老师最后知道我也是当天的值日生而没有出去一起扫地，就很气愤的直接在班里很多人面前发我的火，还把我叫到她办公室谈话，她很凶地问我为什么不和他们一起扫地，我心里很委屈，就说之前几乎都是我一个在扫地，两个女生几乎都没扫过，我的心里不平衡就没出去扫地。说话的时候，眼泪都是含着的，因为确实觉得很委屈。阎老师就对我说，老师一直很看重你，觉得你身上有一股正气，当她说到这里的时候，我哽咽的难受，心里更难受。然后又说“吃亏是福”我知道她对我的要求远远胜过其他人，我也不忍心让她失望，所以很努力地做人，很努力地做事。

还记得她的一句话对我影响很大“今日事，今日毕！”这么多年来，我一直谨记这句话，可以说这句话已经渗透到了我的生活，今天的脏衣服，我也从来不留到明天洗，呵呵，有点傻哦。

很感激有一个这么善良的老师引我英语入门，更重要的是那些品行影响我至今。阎老师，好久不见了，你还好吗，希望你幸福。还有，阎老师，知道吗，你笑起来比凶的时候美多了。

My Views on Environmetal Protection

Nowadays, the world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. Recently,haze weather has become a usual phenomenon here in large part of China. People are forced to wear the mask to avoid breathing poisonous air. Some people think it is impossible to solve the problem,however,from my opinion,if we find out the reason and take effective measures the environment can be better.

If we trace the cause for haze weather,the main points are as follows,first,our countrys air quality standards are rather lax and evaluation factors are limited,so you will see that current air appraisal system has defects. Second,some people just go for economic interests instead of turning out products according to relevant law and regulations. They tend to use obsolete equipment in which they are more likely to emit a great deal of wasted air. Third,across our society,the awareness of protecting the environment has not built up so that people havent formed a habit of using green product and saving energy as much as possible. If we dont take action to show respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awful situation.

Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve the environment. In my opinion, to protect the environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, people should be educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the policy of population into practice, because more people mean more pollution. Finally,laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforce strictly just as our government has been doing. To sum up,if we work together to take out such measures,our environment will get better and better and haze weather will vanish completely.

First of all, I wish you good health and all the best! I heard that your

Spring Festival this year was spent in Shanxi. I think it must be a very happy

one. Is the Spring Festival in Shanxi lively? Next, I will tell you about my

colorful spring festival life!

On New Years Eve, after dinner, it was still early. My mother and father

came to the county front street to feel the new years atmosphere. The streets

are full of excitement, and clusters of colorful balloons float around in the

wind, like girls in full dress and dancing. One after another gorgeous fireworks

in full bloom, like a spring message. Pedestrians on the road step on the pace

of leisure, are ready to a beautiful mood to welcome the arrival of the new

year. All of a sudden, I saw the "stars" over the Shanmen bridge, and I couldnt

help shouting: "Mom, look! There are so many Kongming lanterns!" Wow! Its so

beautiful! "While appreciating, my mother regretted:" if I knew that new years

干一行，爱一行，既然自己选择了教师这一职业，就要把自己的这份职业当成一种事业来对待，从而会产生一种对事业的执着和热爱，并且具有着一种强烈的责任感。只有有了对事业的执着和热爱，崇高的使命感和责任心才会油然而生;只有有了对事业的执着和热爱，才会热爱学生;在工作过程中高标准要求自己，时刻规范自己的言行。为人师表，以身立教，乐于奉献，不计个人得失，一切服从工作需要，自觉地主动地为每一位学生的健康成长尽心尽力，尽职尽责。

二、加强学习，提升自身素质

俗话说：“活到老，学到老。”更何况一名数学教师，要给学生一杯水，自己必须先有一桶水。我认为我们要不断学习，具备扎实的专业基础知识和渊博的文化知识。教师的专业知识是教书育人的资本，是将学生培养成才的必备条件，是教师必备的业务素质。只有这样才能培养出高素质的对社会有用的人才。此外，我们更应具有渊博的知识。有学者说“ 教师知道的东西，要大大超过他要教给学生的范围，要具有宽阔的科学视野，否则，他就不能唤起和发展学生对所学知识的兴趣，就不能满足他们的需要。” 渊博的知识能有益于增强教学效果，满足学生的求知欲，也是适应现代社会科技不断发展的需要。因此，教师要具有精深的专业知识，能在教室上展示自己的个性，能以教书传知，育人感人，

三、与时俱进，勇于创新

“创新是一个民族进步的灵魂，是一个国家兴旺发达的不竭动力。”尤其在知识经济时代，科技发展日新月异。面对经济飞速发展的时代，面对新一轮课程改革，面对新时代的学生，做一名教师，我认为要与时俱进，勇于创新。不断探索新的途径方法，以学生为主体，教室不教死书，死教书，不能像以前一样，就课本教课本，而要更新观念。

Our English Teacher

Our English teacher, Ms Huang, came to our school in 1970. She has been an English teacher for more than 30 years. She works hard and has been a model teacher for many years.

She is kind and friendly to us after class, but She is rather strict with us in class. She always encourages us to speak and read more English. She often says,"Practice makes perfect."

She is good at teaching and tries her best to make every lesson lively and interesting. She often gives us slide shows, teaches us English songs and helps us to put on short English playS.

She is not only our teacher but also our friend. We all respect and love her.

The rest of my schoolmates dont agree the independent recruitment of students test.First of all,it abandons the cultural advantage of our country and isnt good to spread our culture.Because the traditional recruitment method has its own benefit to the country and students.If we give up this way,we have to find an unknown way,which may sacrifice many students interest.Furthermore,it can mislead the basic education method.Because if most of universities recruit independently,many courses will be ignored.

I dont agree with the independent recruitment of students test.I think we should insist the successful and continuous recruitment methods because it proves to be true.

the new semesterhas begun. every thing seems the same as before, except one thing. that is ourclass has a new english teacher. his name is yang yang, but we always call his englishname, robert. he is a young and sunshine. he just graduated from university. hispronunciation is very good and i like his spoken english. robert is humorousand his class is interesting and lively. except for the textbook, he finds manyother articles for class teaching, such as songs, movies and cartoons. he saysthat we can learn more from what we are interested in. i like this new teacher.

新学期已经开始了。除了一件事以外，每一件事看起来都和原来一样。那就是我们班来了个新的英语老师。他的名字叫杨阳，但是我们经常叫他的英文名robert。他年轻阳光，刚刚从大学毕业。他的发音很标准，我很喜欢他的口语。robert很幽默，他的课堂生动有趣。除开课本，他还找了很多文章进行课堂教学，比如歌曲，电影和卡通。他说我们可以从我们感兴趣的东西学到更多。我喜欢这位新老师。

Nowadays,there is a common tendency that most of senior school students choose to attendto a college or a university. Of course so do I. From my perspective, the mainreasons why I go to college lie in the followings.

现在有一个共同的趋势，大多数高中学生选择进入学院或大学。我当然也是一样的，我为什么要去大学的主要原因如下。

Firstof all, attending to a college and accepting advanced education is my dream. Mythirsty for more knowledge and interests in learning have never changed. At thesame time, my attending to a college is an honor of my family. No one ever haschance to make it, so it is absolutely a mission for me to achieve.

首先，上大学接受高等教育是我的梦想。我渴望学习更多的知识以及对学习的兴趣从未改变过。我上大学对我家庭也是一种荣誉。没有人有机会做到，所以这绝对是我要完成的使命。

Secondly,with the development of higher education, more and more opportunities have beenprovided to a student. Therefore, it won’t be very difficult for us to go to college.With the high rate of enrollment, it is a good time to go to college to improvemyself.

其次，随着高等教育的发展，学生得到越来越多的机会。因此，上大学不再是很困难的事了。随着升学率的提高，是时候通过上大学来提高自己了。

Thelast but not the least, it’s a necessary step to a career development to attendto a college. The knowledge we owned from high school doesn’t meet the need ofmodern society. During the college life, not only can we learn professional knowledge,but we also can develop some abilities such as communication and management. Asa result, we will get a great job in the future.

最后但并非最不重要的是上大学是职业发展的必要步骤。我们从高中学到的知识已不适应现代社会的需要。在大学生活中，我们不仅可以学到专业知识，但是我们还可以开发一些能力，如沟通和管理。这样的话我们会在未来获得一份很好的工作。

椒美人，是我们班上英语老师焦娟。为什么会拥有这样一个“雅号”呢？椒，辣椒也，美人，美女也。呵呵，合起来解释，就是说我们的焦老师是有着辣椒性格的美女呀。

的确，焦老师很美。大大的眼睛，如一股清泉，似乎能洗涤人的心灵，白皙的皮肤，更加衬托出她精致的五官。着一身运动服，活脱脱一个运动健将，浑身都洋溢着青春的气息；着一件民族风的长裙，活脱脱一个电影明星走出荧屏……

很多同学都说“椒美人”人很好，那是肯定的，因为我亲身经历过。

那时，正当夏季，焦老师给我们上早自习。太阳很早就升起来了，几缕阳光射进教室，正好照在我的座位上，我受不了太阳的炙晒，只好用手遮着太阳。焦老师注意到了这点，便站在我的身旁带着我们读单词，用她的身体挡住了本该照到我身上的阳光。

就是这样一个小小的举动，让我的心海泛起了狂澜，焦老师就这样在不经意间给予学生无私的关怀。

椒美人也有生气的时候，要不，怎么对得起“椒”这个雅号呢？

早自习，焦老师给我们听写单词，有几个同学抄了小纸条作弊，被焦老师发现了，焦老师轻轻地警告了一句：“不要作弊，你们的基础我清清楚楚……”可有几个小鬼头还在悉悉索索，焦老师又语重心长地说：“读书是自己的事情呀，何必欺骗老师，欺骗家长呀！”那些作弊的人硬是停不下“犯罪”的脚步，焦老师大吼一声：“太不爱面子了，连起码的做人的道理都不懂，给我站起来……”顿时，和风细雨变成了暴风骤雨，焦老师辣劲儿一下子爆出来了，连珠炮似的话语句句呛人，教室里弥漫着爆炒辣椒时的冲味儿，直到那些舞弊的同学低下头来……

这就是我们班的英语老师，怎么样，是不是一个“椒”美人呢？

I would like to thank you for all the help you gave me during this past semester. You were alway so patient when I asked you questions. You listened to them carefully and explained everything so thoroughly. You showed me different ways to practice and remember new words and usage. I felt so encouraged and became more comfortable in speaking English. You made the excercise so interesting that I was always very eager to participate and practice. My English has improved so much. How could I thank you enough?! I cannot wait to take your class next semester and keep working on my English.

From 20xx to 20xx, I spent my college life in Hunan First Normal College. Reminding my college life, I think it was of great significance.

When I was in college, I studied very hard. As a major of English, I often practiced my oral English. Every time, I could think in English. After thinking and expressed my thoughts to others in English. Although sometimes I couldnt speak English so freely, other people still appreciated me, because of my confidence.

In English class, I was always the first one to open my mouth, so my teachers always praised me for my good pronunciation, and my classmates also admired me for my courage. It seemed as if I were on top of the world.

However, I have few chances to speak English now, because my job has nothing to do with English. What a great pity! How I wish to work with foreigners, so that I can use my great English.

我的语文老师就是蔡老师。蔡老师有双美丽的大眼睛，短短的睫毛，像搽了唇油的透明的红。

My Chinese teacher is Miss Cai. Cai teacher has a pair of beautiful big eyes, short eyelashes, like with the transparent red lip oil.

蔡老师非常负责任——这几天，学校有合唱大赛的活动，蔡老师用上课的时间帮我们排练，叫我们练歌。

She is very responsible -- these days, the school chorus contest, Cai teachers use class time to help us to rehearse, that we sing.

蔡老师对同学们非常好——让我们写补充习题和练习与测试时都讲过才让我们做，因为蔡老师怕我们没有学会。

Tsai on the students is very good -- let us write supplementary exercises and practice and test are talked about before we do, because if we dont learn cai.

蔡老师爱提问题给大家回答，不过，她更喜欢上课专心听讲、积极举手回答问题、不插话的同学。不管哪个方面，我们班举手的人都很多。如：读课文、复述课文、分角色朗读课文、默写生字。因此，蔡老师更喜欢我们了。我们也更喜欢蔡老师、和蔡老师的语文课啦!

She likes to ask questions to answer, however, she is more like paying attention in class, actively raise their hands to answer a question, not a student. No matter what, there are many people in our class to raise their hands. Such as: read the text, retell the text, read the text, write the word role. Therefore, Cai teachers like us.
