summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too. so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

Back home, I open the gift bag, put the Santa on the ground, as he ran to sing "Jingle bell, Jingle bell..." We were amused. Father reminded me that I said: "a gift to cherish!" I say: "good, must be!"

Today, is really a happy Christmas!

今天是12月25日，圣诞节。

一大早，我和爸爸、妈妈互相说：“Merry Chrismas!”爸爸说，西方国家的人过圣诞节就像我们中国人过春节那样热闹。妈妈立刻打开电脑查阅了“圣诞节”、“圣诞树”和“圣诞老人”的来历及传说。我觉得很好奇，也很有趣!

我拿出了几天前悄悄地做给爸爸、妈妈的心爱的礼物。爸爸高兴地连声说：“Thank you! Thank you!”还把我抱起来了呢!我开心极了!

下午，妈妈带我去漕运广场买圣诞树。那里的人真多呀!妈妈给我买了许多礼物，有会唱“Jingle bell”的玩具圣诞老人，有传说中神奇的魔术棒……虽然妈妈没有给我买圣诞树，但是我已经很满足了。

回到家后，我把礼包打开，把圣诞老人放在地上，只见他边跑边唱“Jingle bell，jingle bell……”我们都被逗乐了。爸爸提醒我说：“礼物要好好珍惜哦!”我说：“好，一定!”

今天，真是一个快乐的圣诞节!

With the development of scientific conductions, our daily life is becoming more and more convenient. But everything has both its good and bad sides, pollution has become a hot topic while the science’s building up. So the word “green” has been paid great attention among us .So do our campus.

Creating a green campus is very important to build up a wonderful atmosphere. ”Green campus ” does not only means green environment, but also means positive study atmosphere, good personal qualities and refer to that the students should be educated and have an environmental sense in their mind. What’s more, what I want to stress is that it sets goals toward the future of the world.

To bring “green campus” to its full play, effective measures should be taken. First, learning is the most important thing, which can strength our personal qualities. Second, we should take care our daily actions about manners and pick up waste papers here and there as we can do. Third , when you make mistakes or someone help you, you should say “sorry” or “thank you” to people with your sweet smile…

Green campus make us live in a soft and warm environment. So we ought to do our best to build green campus.

随着科学的发展条件、我们的日常生活变得越来越方便。但每件事都有好和坏,污染已成为一个热点话题,而科学的建立。所以“绿色”这个词已经非常关注在我们中间。我们的校园也是如此。

创建一个绿色校园是非常重要的建立一个美好的氛围。绿色校园不仅指绿色环境,但也意味着积极的学习氛围,良好的个人素质和参考,学生应该教育和环保意识在他们的脑海中。更重要的是,我想强调的是,它将对世界的未来目标。

将充分发挥“绿色校园”,必须采取有效的措施。首先,学习是最重要的,这可以增强我们的个人品质。其次,我们应该照顾我们的日常行为举止和捡垃圾论文,我们可以做。第三,当你犯错误或有人帮助你,你应该说“对不起”或“谢谢”的人与你的甜蜜的微笑…

绿色校园让我们生活在一个柔软而温暖的环境。所以我们应该尽力构建绿色校园。

We get presents from each other， we all love each other.

I didnt know there was a Christmas before.

Now， I know that Christmas is the day when Santa Claus gives presents to children.

Because there are too many homework exams， because theres too much homework to do， and when I think about Christmas this year， its December 25th night. I spoke to my mother and said， "Mom， I havent had Christmas yet."!" Mother said， "Christmas is a foreign festival， which is equivalent to our Spring Festival.". We are nothing but foreigners festivals， and we celebrate our spring festival!" I said， "but I thought too much about Christmas."! Why cant Santa just give me presents?" Mom eyeball a turn， stooping， smiling at me： "Santa Claus will also distribute the gift to you!" My eyes lit up， staring big eyes， eager to ask： "really?" Where? Where is it?" My mother smiled and said： "as long as you actively to contribute， in a few days， Santa Claus will send you a gift to myself!" Once I heard it， I ran into the study room and ran and said， "Ill write it now."!" My mother was happy again， and I laughed happily.

christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. it falls on the twenty- fifth of december and has the same importance as chinese new year to people with english backgrounds. the celebration is for the birth of jesus christ, who is the son of god in christianity. now days christmas is no longer only celebrated by the christians, but by most people from all over the world.

on the twenty- fourth of december everyone gets excited for it’s the day before christmas which is called christmas eve. the children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “santa claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” the younger kids actually believe that santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. food like short bread and beer are prepared for santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. some children put socks and sacks up for the holding of the presents (that their parents put in).

rise and shine on christmas morning! the children are always the first ones to wake up, some even do at four. present wrappers everywhere! they look into their presents with a big smile on their face and oh dear….i hope no one’s disappointed. i feel sorry for anyone that got pink underwear. children play while dinner is prepared by the adults. the christmas dinner are usually eaten together by relatives. the tradition of christmas pudding and roosters are usually eaten with deserts afterwards. the rest of the day is usually games and fun before the good days all come to an end.
