1、独立性增强、依赖性减少。不再像小学时那样遵循父母的意见，接受别人的评价。开始坚持自我，用自己的眼睛去看世界。经常批驳我的一些言论，纠正我对一些事物的解释。孩子很想独立，自己决定自己的事情；孩子觉得自己已经长大了，不愿再和我们一起活动。但是他们很清楚，自己还不能完全独立，还离不开父母的帮助，还缺乏独立于社会的资本和经验，所以在自我意识中存在着矛盾。

2、现实性增强、理想性减少。小学时孩子有着对于自己未来和关于人生、社会的美好理想。但现在他认识能力的提高了，他看到了许多不尽如人意的现实。理想和现实之间的较大差异，在他的自我意识中产生了矛盾。我们极力让孩子看到生活的积极面，把消极面掩盖起来，一旦孩子自己发现，便处于困惑之中。

4、教孩子交往正确的空间唤醒孩子内心的力量。青春期的孩子需要认识自我，肯定自我，希望有更多的机会表达自己的意见和想法，也希望能有人倾听自己的话。这种需求较少能从我们父母处得到满足，而同龄人的思想水平接近，对事物的看法有更多的共同点，容易沟通、更可信赖。同龄朋友可以帮助青少年增进对自我的了解，可以帮助孩子肯定自我的价值，和朋友交往可以缓解不良情绪。另外，孩子也正在学习适应社会，与朋友交往是他们学习人际关系能力的开始，进一步发展独立的人格。我们家长的还应该告诉他们朋友交往要注意的问题。一是要明辨是非，选择好朋友交往。要让孩子懂得，不是每个人都是可以做朋友的。常言道，“近朱者赤，近墨者黑”。如果发现自己交了坏朋友，就要拿出决心和勇气，坚决离开他们。二是和朋友相处要做到严以律己，宽以待人。每个人都有他的优点和长处，也有这样那样的缺点和短处，朋友之间要取长补短。要学习人家的长处，帮助别人改进不足。嘲笑朋友的缺点是最伤感情的。三是朋友之间要保持独立性，才能建立对等的朋友关系。有的孩子形影不离、不分彼此，久而久之，只能给双方带来心理负担。”

5、通过把正确的予以强化唤醒孩子长久的内心力量。在我们父母与孩子的关系中，对孩子的行为给以正确的强化是教育孩子的关键。许多家长承认自己教育失败，主要原因是强化不当。在孩子的成长过程中，他们会自然而然地产生许多愿望，随后就会向家长提出。这些愿望或要求有些合理，有些不合理。孩子毕竟是孩子，他不懂得是否有合理性。家长是否应该满足，应该如何满足，是需要思考的问题。一般来讲，不合理的要求应不予理睬或加以拒绝。有些家长不恰当地满足了孩子的无理要求，无意识中强化了孩子的非理性。对孩子的合理要求，除了必须迅速给以满足的要求之外，尽可能地延缓满足，使孩子为实现他们的愿望而付出努力。让他们明白，任何愿望的实现必须以付出为代价，借以塑造他们的积极行为。一定要让他们的积极行为得到奖赏，这种奖赏可能是物质的，也可能是精神的。在孩子的学习和生活的许多环节中，都应该利用强化的原理。对孩子的教育应该以积极的鼓励为主，批评过多往往使孩子无所适从，甚至“破罐破摔”出现对抗行为。

记得有一次，在晚上爸妈回来得很晚。我看到他们很疲倦，我本想去倒一杯水给妈妈喝的。可没想到的是，水壶太重了我没提稳，手不小心一滑，水壶里面的开水全部倒到了我的脚上。当时真的很痛，我就大哭了起来，爸妈急忙跑过来，把我抱到了床上，拿了些药给我擦。当时我在心里想，妈妈爸爸为了我们付出了太多太多，回报他们是应该的。从那天开始，我就帮妈妈做一些自己做的到的家务。有一天，吃完饭后，碗还没洗，我就主动把碗拿去洗了，我认真的洗着。可一不小心在碗的裂口处割到了手，出了好多血，妈妈就去拿了创口贴，我对妈妈说：“妈妈，对不起，我只是想尽点孝心，连这点事也做不到。”妈妈说：“你好好读书就是对我尽了孝。”我当时就在妈妈的怀里哭了。
