上周星期一，学校布置了一道特殊的“家庭作业”――在感恩节来临前夕为父母做一件有意义的事，我决定为妈妈洗一次脚。

星期二下午，付老师告诉我，今天晚上有到我家来拍我洗脚的照片。我高兴得一蹦三丈高。回到家后，我三下五除二就做完了作业，怀着激动的心情盼望在一秒钟之内出现在我面前。可是十分钟过去了，半小时过去了……都七点多钟了，还不见的踪迹。突然，门铃响了，我疾步如飞地跑去开门，一位又瘦又高，戴着鸭舌帽的叔叔出现在我家门前。我连忙递上拖鞋，请叔叔进门。他简单地介绍了他来的目的，就开始工作起来。

我从厨房端来一盆热腾腾的水，恭恭敬敬地请妈妈坐在沙发上。妈妈说：“我今天可要好好享受女儿的孝心。”我让妈妈把脚浸入水中。我用我那双光滑的手轻轻地搓着妈妈的脚，感觉妈妈的脚干干的，很粗糙。叔叔用风趣幽默的语言把我们母女俩逗得开心不断，那脸上自然就堆满了笑容。真不知道他为什么那么会说话？一句句话语就像一勺勺蜂蜜，令人心里乐滋滋的，让我们不想笑都不行。叔叔不断地按快门，快门咔嚓咔嚓地响个不停。闪光灯照在我们母女俩灿烂的笑脸上，仿佛我们就是电影明星了。当我洗到妈妈的脚后跟时，不知什么东西扎了一下我的手。我一看，原来是一层厚厚的老茧。这老茧是怎么长出来的呢？我忽然想起妈妈整天跑来跑去，忙个不停，很少有休息时间，她太辛苦了。这老茧肯定就是走路太多磨出来的。洗完脚后，我又给妈妈做起了按摩。叔叔又是一阵狂拍，连我倒洗脚水都拍了好几张才善罢甘休。

第二天，付老师把《重庆时报》递到了我的手中，上面果然有我给妈妈洗脚后按摩的照片。“邹欣娴上报纸了，邹欣娴上报纸了。”同学们欢呼雀跃起来。我心里乐开了花。不过，明星也不是那么好当。我要常常做一些力所能及的家务活，减轻爸爸妈妈的负担，让爸爸妈妈每天都享受快乐。

The Pilgrims set ground at Plymouth Rock on December 11, 1620. Their first winter was devastating. And the remaining colonists decided to celebrate with a feast -- including 91 Indians who

had helped the Pilgrims survive their first year. It is believed that the Pilgrims would not have made it through the year without the help of the natives. The feast was more of a traditional English harvest festival than a true "thanksgiving" observance. It lasted three days.

恩受也受了，接下来该怎么办？报恩，说的能轻描淡写，做起来能行云流水就不容易了。衡量报恩的尺度无非也就是自己的良心，至于该报多少，能报多少，报了多少因人而已，总之，心静的时候，用手摸一下心口窝，就知道了。

我感觉“报恩”是一种最求状态，就像社会主义是我们的共同理想，是一种指导性的东西。报恩之心长存心间，事事合乎道德伦理就好。感恩不是把自己卖了博得施恩者的宽慰；不必喊着报恩的号子，往别人刚清洁完的地面上吐上一口浓痰；为报恩更没必要杀人放火，触犯刑律不说，报了恩又缺了德总归不靠谱。
