Thanksgiving is a time for tradition and sharing. Even if they live far away， family members gather for a reunion at the house of an older relative. All give thanks together for the good things that they have.

一段路，一辆车，两个人。——题记

楼下一个不起眼的角落里停着一辆布满了灰尘的自行车，日复一日，年复一年，岁月冲淡了它的颜色，但惟独冲不走我儿时的记忆。回想当年，母亲用那辆自行车送我上学、接我回家。途中，一段上坡路见证了时光的流逝，也见证了母子之间浓浓的爱。

记得刚上一年级时，下课铃声一响，人群中总有一个人踮起脚张望着，生怕我会走失，她就是我的母亲。她总是将我抱起，轻轻地放在自行车后座上，待我坐好后迅速的坐上来。那段路，她骑得很轻松，我们有说有笑，我甚至看不到她留下过一颗汗珠。那时我七岁，她三十二岁。

后来，再骑上那段上坡路时，她开始有些吃力，但依然能把我从坡下载到坡上，尽管汗流浃背。我央求自己下来走，她却说：“没事儿，载你，妈有的是劲。”那时我九岁，她三十四岁。

到五年级时，我隐约地发现她载我时十分吃力，尤其是上坡时，她只能骑到一半，然后下来推着我走。我望着她湿透的衣背，说：“妈，我自己下来走吧。”她不答应，依旧推着我……汗水，湿透了她的衣背；泪水，模糊了我的双眼……我长大了，她却在一天天变老。那时我十一岁，她三十六岁。

终于有一天，她载不动我了，上坡时，我就下来和他一起走。她推着车，我跟在她身后默默地注视着她……我不敢相信，她的头上竟然——竟然有了一丝白发。泪水，再次从我的眼里流了出来，我不敢哽咽，因为我怕被她发现……那时我十二岁，她三十七岁。

后来到了初中，我有了自己的自行车。每天我都会骑着它上学、回家。路，还是那段路，车，已换了容颜。每当我经过那段路时，我都会不由自主的想起我的母亲。“一段路，一辆车，两个人”的时代已经过去了，但记忆永远不会忘怀。我还想和我的母亲重温那段时光，只是这次不同，是我载着她，无论多远，我都能从坡下载到坡上，就像小时候她载着我一样，我们娘俩一起走完全程……

Today is sunday. i got up very early in the morning. after breakfast i went to the bookstore. i wanted to buy a book robinson crusoe. i looked for the book for quite some time but couldn‘t find it. the shop assistant then came to help me. i was very glad that i got the book at last.

in the afternoon i called on my friend wang lin. he just came back from beijing. we talked a lot.

in the evening i watched an interesting play on tv. i enjoyed it very much. i had a winderful time.

我是一个在爸爸妈妈关爱中长大的孩子!过着无忧无虑的幸福生活。

小的时候，爸爸妈妈非常疼爱我。深怕我出了一点什么事!

等到我走进学校的大门，开始了新的学习，在学习的过程中，爸爸妈妈就好像变了一样，对我不再那么千依百顺了。在我遇到难题时，也不帮助我，还凶我。从此，我就好像的了后遗症似的，怕怕的。每当我考试没有考好时，我就只有等着挨批。没想到爸爸妈妈却只是对我说:“下次好好考就行了。”但是说这句话时的语气是沉重的。我想爸爸妈妈不帮我，应该是想我学会自立吧。

我每天一回家就只知道，打开电视，吃着零食，享受着美好时光。仔细一想，这一切不都是父母赐给我的吗?这时，妈妈在做饭，又是切菜，又是切肉，又是调味。妈妈现在所做的一切不都是为了我吗?

吃完饭后，我想起妈妈那么辛苦地为我们做饭，做完后还要洗一大堆的碗筷。我飘过一个念头:不如，帮妈妈洗洗碗，让妈妈好好休息休息。何况，老师经常教育我们要帮助帮助爸爸妈妈干活，妈妈要为我们这个家忙东忙西，我为什么不能帮妈妈做点力所能及的事?

我跑过去对正在低头收桌妈妈说:“今天的碗筷就让我帮你洗吧!你都忙活了一整天了!让我来吧。”

妈妈抬起头笑着对我说:“不用了，你还小，去看电视吧!”

“不--不，我来帮你洗。”

“好吧--好吧!小心一点!”

我一边说，一边拿起碗。妈妈顺手拿给了我一张洗碗布，帮我围裙，然后欣慰的走出了!我拿起洗好的抹布，去吧外面的桌子抹干净。接着，我就开始了我的大作战--洗碗!我在洗碗槽旁，拿起洗碗布，滴上洗洁精。再将碗筷一个个用洗碗布来擦一擦。做完这一些，就可以帮它们冲水了!

我慢慢地把水龙头打开，我拿起一个碗，放到水龙头下。水龙头的水哗哗地搭在我的手上，我把每个碗的每个部位都用水冲洗了一下。终于，我把说有的碗洗完了。我是我的手，已经冻得通红。

我现在才知道，原来洗完也是一件不容易的事情!而妈妈每天都要做那么多的事情，我还那么不懂事，去烦她。现在，我也长大了，应该为爸爸妈妈做一些我能够做的事情。才不会让爸爸妈妈养我十多年，像是养一个没用的人，什么事都不会做!虽然，洗碗只是一件生活中平凡到再也不能再平凡的一件小事，但是，它也可以证明爸爸妈妈没有白养我。

因为这就是感恩

The generation gap is unavoidable in almost every family, which brings

about a number of conflicts in a family. In my opinion, to limit the bad effects

of the generation gap, each family should use the following three methods:

First of all, it is important that family members discuss openly about

their pleasures or sadness in childhood in family gatherings. This activity does

not only create a close relationship but also help build up understanding among

all members. For instance, once children are aware that their grandparents and

even their parents did not have a good upbringing during their hard childhood,

they will stop complaining about the previous generations’ obsoleteness. In the

meantime, once old people realize young people are nurtured in a new modern way,

it is easy for them to be tolerant of young people’s new habits or hobbies.

Secondly, people of each generation should not develop a very high feeling

about themselves. In order to do that, they should not think that they are the

only right people in their family because each person has his or her own

limitations. Teenagers would realize that their parents have to struggle with

pain to support them financially, and they would stop rebelling their

strictness. Parents would realize that their children’s new style does no harm

to their studies and stop imposing their own unsuitable standards on their

children.

Finally, the generation gap and its bad effects can be limited if all

members cooperate to build up a close-knit family relationship and a harmonious

atmosphere in which they are open and tolerant of each other. I strongly believe

that each family, by doing that, can enjoy a cozy atmosphere with minimum

interference by the generation gap.
