I was so busy in the previous winter holiday for I am going to take the

university entrance exam in July this year. Everyday, I buried myself in

studying. I had to review each required subject and do lots of exercises.

Besides, because I did bad in mathematics and physics, I had to do much more

exercises than other courses, which made me discouraged. I spent more than ten

hours a day in studying. When I was tired, I watched TV or listened to music for

a little while. But It was a big pity that I couldnt go to the see cinema. In

addition, I had to refuse all the invitations of friends and relatives. I only

called them or sent messages in the New Year’s Eve. I desperately hoped that

there is no exam but I know it’s impossible. The only thing I can do is to study

hard to get good scores and can be admitted to Tsinghua University.

Music is the important part of my life. The world needs music to amuse

peoples life. As they live in the fast pace, music can bring them the great joy

and relax. Since I was very small, I fell in love with music and every time when

I heard music, my body would move and feel relaxed. The function of music is

When girls get together, they like gossip. They always talk about the topic of beauty. They will discuss who is the most beautiful girl in school or they will compare the girls and see who is more charming. As the young people, they usually judge people from appearance. The definition of beauty of course is the one who is thinner and has the pretty face. When they ask me which one is more attractive, then I will look at them for a while, because I want to perceive their personality. My view on beauty is not only from appearance as I think most girls have the pretty faces, but also from the inside, only the quality that differentiates them. 感恩节，你感恩了吗？也许你会说，“我还小，不会感恩”，现在，我就来告诉你们，怎么感恩——

“没有什么比亲情更珍贵。”当你还很小的时候，家人教你穿衣服、绑鞋带、系扣子；教你讲话、唱儿歌；教你用汤匙、用筷子吃饭；教你洗脸、梳头发、擤鼻涕；教你做人的道理……感恩家人，其实就是陪他们聊聊天、谈谈心，听他们的话；完成好学业、积极进取，不让父母为你操心；给家人做一顿丰盛的菜肴，帮他们做做家务……

“春蚕到死丝方尽，蜡炬成灰泪始干。”是老师把你领进知识的殿堂；给你前进的动力；为你指明人生的方向……感恩老师，其实就是一句“老师好”“老师，您辛苦了”；把学习搞好，取得好成绩；过节时，给老师送上一句“老师，节日快乐”……

“人人都需要友情，要珍惜友情可贵。”当你摔倒时，是朋友把你扶起来，为你包扎伤口；当你哭泣时，是朋友帮你擦干眼泪，把你安慰；当你需要帮助时，是朋友帮你渡过难关，给予你希望……感恩朋友，其实就是在他们生日时送上一句祝福；和他们有福同享、有难同担……

“爱护一切生灵，保护我们共同的家园——地球。”阳光给你带来温暖；花朵给你带来芳香；小草给你带来绿茵……感恩自然，其实就是为大自然插上绿荫，多一份新绿，少一分荒芜；回收垃圾，不要让垃圾侵蚀我们美好的家园；保护大自然，提醒人们不践踏花花草草……

Christmas Day is very popular around the world, when that day comes, we can

see the Christmas products sell everywhere, though Christmas Day is not

originating from China, in our country, more and more people spend that day. A

foreigner pointed out that Christmas meant to be grateful for them, while for

Chinese people, it was just a day for celebrating. To me, Christmas indeed means

a day to have fun.

When I was small, I did not have the concept of Christmas, because in my

mind, I only knew Chinese traditional festivals, I liked Spring Festival best, I

could get a lot of money from parents. When I went to high school, all of my

friends would talk about Christmas Day when the day was near, so I started to

know it. Almost every young people like Christmas, but if you ask them what the

meaning of the day, less of them can answer.

The meaning of Christmas Day is to remind people of Jesus’s birth, it is so

important for the western people, but for me, I only want to have fun, everyone

is celebrating it, so I join them, being happy, that’s enough for me.
