那是一个春光明媚的下午，我照例来到英语学校上课。“Hello，Catherine！”一进门，就听见老师热情地对我打招呼，离上课还有十几分钟，老师正在做着课前准备，只见她一会儿低头在卡纸上写着单词，一会儿在黑板画一些迷宫似的格子和一些奇怪的图形，忙得像个团团转的陀螺。“这难道是新改版的飞行棋游戏？还是要玩迷宫？老师今天又准备了什么秘密武器？”此刻，我心里打了无数个问号。

过了一会儿，Summer老师抬起手腕，匆匆瞟了一眼手表说：“上课了。”老师指着黑板上刚画的那些古怪的图形，告诉我们这是她新设计“大富翁”的游戏，她把我们分成两个组进行比赛，哪组回答的问题多，读出的单词多，分就越多，“钱”也越多。第一个要学习的单词是“Italy”(意大利)，老师教我们读时，我就想：“待会老师一定会考我们背单词”，所以我边读边努力地背着，果不其然，读了几遍后，Summer老师就给了我们一个抢背单词的机会，我毫不犹豫地高高举起了手，站起来流利地背出了单词，旗开得胜挣了3分，我们组的同学都露出了胜利的微笑，对方组故意装出不在乎的“面无表情”。我们的比赛很激烈，当我们恰好前进到“监狱”而被暂停一回合时，对方会开怀大笑，像捡了个宝似的；当对方经过我们的地盘而必须留下“买路钱”时，就轮到他们“黯然神伤”了，像打败了的兵似的……

Summer老师上课有时也会“开火车”。当我们前进到“America”(美国)的地盘上时，我们发现美国的版图不像中国是一大块集中在一起，而是有许多小块分布在各个地方，“这到底是怎么回事呢？”“为什么美国的版图上会东一块西一块的呢？”“这真是太奇怪了！”我们在下面窃窃私语，老师为了解答我们的疑惑，开始扯起了美国的地理，然后又扯起了美国的历史、文化，直到她下意识地看了看墙上的时钟，才发现“火车”开得太远了，可她还好像讲得意犹未尽，我们也听得意犹未尽。就这样，在玩玩闹闹中，我们就学会了很多的单词，收获了一些有趣的小知识，最重要的是我们始终努力着并快乐着。

这样的课，我喜欢！要是我们学校的语文数学课也能上得这样活泼有趣该多好呀！

Bitterly cold winter may once come, but now it has gone.

As my bike has been stolen, I have to run from one teaching building to another every day.

The bell declares the end of the last lesson and the beginning of a new journey. Tired as I am, at the sight of the bench, I go straight to it. As soon as I get seated, a world of fresh green immediately catches my eyes. Grass sprouts burst through the soil right in the place of the withered grass and turn the dull grey into fresh green. As I look up, I find those tall trees have also put on new clothes. Green, here and there, everywhere!Spring has come, I realize suddenly.

A breeze stirs, sending over breaths of fragrance. I trace it,surprised to find several lovely small white flowers dotted on a tree. And there are even some singing birds! I am so delighted with all these tiny lives that my fatigue vanishes all of a sudden.

The sky shows its purest blue. The sun generously gives out its heat and light, shining evenly on the grass, on the trees,on the roofs of houses, on the people passing by, also on me,quietly and tenderly. There come a couple of young people,strolling leisurely. A group of students are sitting in a circle on the grass and discussing something heatedly. Some are reading English but in low voices afraid of breaking the peace of the campus. Others are lying on the lawn, having a nap, or just enjoying the sunshine as I am.

I feel I am free, free of thinking anything. In such a pleasing environment, doing anything is a great pleasure. I am fully indulged in this tranquility. If only time could stop!

I turn on the radio to enjoy some light music. Much to my disappointment, however, almost all the programs are about the war in Iraq. It is hard to believe that under the same blue sky,some people are suffering from bleeding and death of war while others are enjoying a happy life.

The sun is hidden by the clouds. After a few seconds, it shines brightly again.

Peaceful life seems to have gone, but it will come back one day, I am sure.

寒冷的冬天可能一旦来了,但是现在已经过去了。

我的自行车被偷了,我不得不每天从一个教学楼跑到另一个。

铃说上节课结束的时候,开始一个新的旅程。由于我工作的疲惫,一看到长椅上,我直走。当我坐着,鲜绿的世界立刻吸引了我的眼睛。草苗冲破土壤在枯萎的草的地方,把枯燥的灰色变成新鲜的绿色。当我抬头时,我发现那些高大的树木也穿上了新衣服。绿色,在这里和那里,无处不在!春天来了,我突然意识到。

微风激起,呼吸的香味。我跟踪它,惊讶地发现几个可爱的小白色的花朵点缀在树上。甚至有一些鸟儿在歌唱!我很高兴我所有这些微小的生命,疲劳突然消失。

天空显示最纯粹的蓝色。慷慨地给出了它的光和热,太阳发光均匀地在草地上,在树上,屋顶,路过的人,也对我,安静而温柔。有几个年轻人,悠闲地散步。一群学生坐在草地上围成一圈,讨论激烈。有些人读英语但低声害怕打破了校园的宁静。人躺在草坪上,在小憩,或者只是和我晒太阳。

我觉得我是自由的,自由的思考任何事情。在这样一个令人愉快的环境中,做任何事情都是一个很大的乐趣。我完全沉溺于这种宁静。如果时间能停!

我打开收音机享受一些轻音乐。令我失望的是,然而,几乎所有的项目是关于伊拉克战争。很难相信,在同一片蓝天之下,一些人正遭受战争流血和死亡,而另一些则享受着幸福的生活。

太阳藏在乌云。几秒钟后,它又明晃晃地照耀着大地。

It is true that summer is hot, very hot.

But the wicked summer sun is nothing to me, for I dont usually go out. What I like to do best during the long summer vacation is to stay in my own little room and read. I love to read, but during the school year I could hardly find a free moment for reading. Endless assignments press down upon me like a mountain.

I feel confined and imprisoned. Once the summer vacation comes, however, I have all the time in the world to read and read and read. I read everything I want to read. I read to my hearts content.

My room maybe small, and the sun maybe hot, but Im free, Im happy, Im really living! Oh, how I love summer!

的确,夏天很热,很热。

恶人夏天太阳对我没有,因为我通常不出去。我最喜欢做在漫长的暑假是呆在自己的小房间里,阅读。我喜欢阅读,但是在上学时,我几乎不能找到一个免费阅读的时刻。无尽的作业压在我身上像一座山。

一天，爸爸为了表扬我成绩取得进步，就送了我一双溜冰鞋。看见那可爱的粉红色溜冰鞋别提我有多高兴了，我急忙穿上鞋刚想站起来溜一下，结果还没等我站起来我就滑了一跤，痛得我眼泪都快流出来了。这时我才知道，原来溜冰并不是我想象的那么容易。但我实在太想学了，于是我决定再试一次。这回我比刚才小心多了，为了防止摔倒，我还用手扶着沙发慢慢站起来。刚想动移动一下，可能是因为我太紧张了，我的脚总是不太听使唤。不是左脚往东，右脚朝西;就是一只脚滑前，一只脚溜后。幸亏我扶着沙发，要不然早就摔个四脚朝天了。爸爸看见了，就走过来扶着我走，可还是不行。

正当我想放弃时，妈妈说：“你都没学会站，怎么能走呢?学东西得一步一步来。”听了妈妈的话，我就学着那些哥哥那样：一条腿跪在地上另一条腿曲膝支撑着，然后慢慢地站了起来。没想到这回我居然稳稳当当地站起来了，而且不需要扶着任何东西。这登上我信心大增，继续练习。通过学习我的努力慢慢地我的不仅学会站还学会了往前往后滑——现在我是越来越喜欢溜冰了。

溜冰真好玩，我真喜欢溜冰，因为它让我明白了：做什么事都要一步一步来，才能把事情做好。
